The office was so dirty. The doctor was rude. I suggest taking business elsewhere. They were not gentle and hurt me also.

I've had Invisalign since returning and my regular maintenance. I've also started using a Flaus flosser and NOBS toothpaste which has been a game changer. My last visit was the best progress report my gums/teeth have ever gotten and may I say that I actually love going to the dentist now?! Everyone is lovely and I can't speak highly enough of the updated equipment and techniques they use as well. 10/10!!!

I was also made aware that Dr. Jackie does ortho treatment and decided to schedule an appointment. Made the appointment for a cleaning and ortho consultation. On the day of my appointment I arrived on time. Everything seemed to be going smooth until I gave the receptionist my address. I was then interrogated with questions like "Why are you coming here" and "Why did you come back". There was no thank you for returning or we appreciate you being a loyal patient. Almost felt condemned about my choice to return. It caught me off guard but I explained how I liked Dr Jackie and how I really felt comfortable with her service. The receptionist kind of just stared and said "oh ok". I get to the back and I thought I was taking regular X-rays and I was told the images were for the ortho consult. I apologized for the confusion and explained that I moved forward with another Dr. for ortho and just needed the cleaning done. I also explained during a confirmation call that I no longer needed the ortho treatment just the cleaning. The hygienist returned with the receptionist and she said "I'm confused on why you're here". I explained again for cleaning services. She said "well you went to all these places how do we know if your insurance will cover the X-ray". I explained to her those Xrays were done by orthodontist and that's just a panel view not a dental X-ray and I paid for that out of pocket. She went on and on about my last dentist and you went to so many prior dentist and I don't understand why you're here. At that moment I didn't know why I was there allowing her to speak to me like a child. I said "can you call met life and see when the last submission for X-rays was". She said no and gave an exhausted explanation about her having to call my prior dentist. Mind you I went to one orthodontist who I moved forward with treatment with and my prior dentist who I mistaken my last appointment date. After I left I called met life to confirm all service submissions and come to find out I was actually seen the end of last year so none of my money was used nor has anyone submitted anything for payment. I'm sure the receptionist could've done that. Anyway, I told her I would reschedule and just her lack of professionalism threw me off. Does it matter if I drove from Brentwood? All you need to know is I like Dr Jackie and it's not coming out of your pocket. I sat in my car for five minutes going over in my head if I should walk away or stay and deal with the rude receptionist because I like Dr. Jackie's work. Just knowing I would have to deal with the receptionist made me walk back in thank her and told her I'll just keep my previous Dr. It was no "let me change your mind" no "how can we keep you as a patient". She has the nerve to wink and said okay. No care in the world. Wasted gas, toll and time. Worst part is I lost a great dentist like Dr.Jackie.

First, I have not been treated by or had any work done by this dentist, but this review is more…read moreabout how his office has communicated with me. I was referred by my primary dentist regarding getting some implants. My regular dentist recommended Eric Tsai very highly. I tried to schedule an appointment for a consultation and evaluation through his website and entered the name of the referring dentist and what my needs were. I received a call from his office later in the day and the person who called asked me for all the information I had submitted online. I was in my car and I referred back to the information submitted and that I would prefer to discuss my situation with the dentist after my exam. I was disappointed that the person calling didn't read my submission and I felt why did the online site ask for it if they were not going to look at it. When I said I would wait to review everything with the dentist because I didn't want to have to repeat everything again when I met with him, she said she would have someone call and hung up. Hanging up caught me totally off guard. Based on this call, I posted a 3 star review relaying my experience and later that evening the dentist called me directly. He explained that the call had been recorded (was not disclosed that it was being recorded during the call) and that his office person handled the call in appropriately and he apologized. Based on my conversation, the dentist and I agreed that someone from his staff would reach out to me to schedule an appointment (our conversation was after office hours) and that maybe with next Monday being a holiday (Mondays is when he did his consults in Walnut Creek), that something could be set up for Thursday in his Danville office. Again this was last Thursday evening. As a gesture of good faith, I removed my review, hoping for a fresh start. As of today, three business days later, no one has reached out to me. When looking for someone to perform oral surgery, one of the most important things is trust. But when your first impression is a rude office staff person (who the dentist acknowledged responded poorly) then there is no follow up when the dentist said someone would, it erodes your trust in the care and level of communication the office will give you. It shouldn't be so difficult, just read what I sent you can call back when you say you will. It's just respect. Again, I cannot speak to the dentist's skill or ability, but as a business owner myself, I don't think this is how you build a loyal client base. I guess that is why the Perioperative programs at Stanford include MBA classes to teach Doctors the business side of a practice.

Over the years, I have undergone several procedures with Dr. Gasper, including tooth extraction, bone grafting, and dental implants. I have great trust in her expertise and professionalism. She always takes the time to explain each procedure carefully--what the goals are, what to expect during recovery, and how to care for yourself afterward. Her clear communication and attention to detail helped me feel informed and confident throughout the entire process. Thank you, Dr. Gasper, for taking such great care of my "problematic" gums and helping me restore my oral health. I would also like to mention the wonderful office staff. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and helpful. Visiting a dentist can sometimes be intimidating, especially when facing major procedures, but the warm and supportive environment always makes me feel comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Gasper went above and beyond to answer all of my questions pre- and post- surgery, and ensured the entire process was as smooth and comfortable as possible. I felt extremely cared for throughout the whole process. Like others have similarly stated, I was worried for nothing and received high quality care. The hardest part was staying patient through the healing process, and the week following surgery where I felt pressure/discomfort from the stent. In my opinion, the pain reminded me of getting my braces tightened at the orthodontist, but much less intense. I'm thrilled with the results of my gum graft, better than expected. I highly recommend Dr. Gasper and her team.
