We have gone to them for a while now. It looks like the inventory comes from Costco or Target returns, at a much lower prices. I come here at least once a month. The inventory can be hit and missed. I have gotten clothes, chairs, loveseats, an air fryer with a little dent on it, but at 50% off. The staff is nice and helpful. My biggest purchase from them is the pulled out loveseat. How fun is this place!!! I love coming here and finding stuff originally from Costco, Target or even Walmart all at a great price. The return policy is strict but I've never needed to return anything. I've bought furniture, bedding, mattresses, dishes, cabinet handles, lighting and lil electronic device. They sell tv's, washers, dryers; its like a department store. I always just drop by... you'll never know what you'll find. The staff is friendly and will even help you take bulky items to your car. Would give zero stars if I could. This place is an absolute joke. Bought a pool for our backyard from here only to find a huge tear in it once finally set up. It was also visibly used before. Brought it back to return it and the blonde woman who works there first told my husband he couldn't come until a certain time (had called about the issue prior). She came out of the store into the parking lot before he even entered to tell him he can't come in until 4pm. She then proceeded to say "we don't sell junk" and accused him of causing the damage. My husband tried to show her pictures of the large tear we found setting it up and she refused to even look at them. Then to top it all off, not sure if it was her son or what but a teenage boy then proceeded to get in my husband's face telling him to "get the hell out" Absolutely zero professionalism and zero customer service. No. I don't appreciate being followed in a store like I'm a criminal. Especially when I have my two kids with me. Bought a fire pit. It's final sale. Brought it home, but won't start. Jose- one of the owners- suggested to buy new propane regulator and they will refund cost. Bought one from Amazon, still wouldn't start. Called Jose again and said he'd come and take a look at it at tomorrow at 9am. He came to my house at 9am the following morning! Jose looked at it and offered to refund, or he can fix it for me. He brought it with him. Later in the afternoon I get a text from him. It works!! And he's ready to drop it off. I used to really enjoy this store, but the last 3 times I've been in there the blond woman (who is apparently a co-owner), has been hanging out very visibly in the store with her mask around her neck. To top it off she frequently hangs out on the couches that are for sale chatting with other employees. The young man at the counter was uncomfortable with her being unmasked as well, but didn't even feel safe to call her out on it. She may as well flip off her employees and customers with this flagrant refusal to wear a mask (note that the customers and most, but not all, of the other employees wear their masks). I had asked her the first time I visited if the store was related to the similar one on Clayton Rd called Shop Heroic (where she used to work), and she indignantly said no with quite the attitude, but no explanation at all. I imagine she took the idea from the Shop Heroic owner and went off on her own to recreate the idea of selling returns and overstocks. Although there are often some fun finds here, it's more expensive on many of the same items than the Clayton Rd store, and there is no issue there with employees not wearing their masks, so today was the last time I'll be shopping there. read more

I had heard about this store a while back from friends and family and started following their Facebook page to see the kind of merchandise that they carry. There were a few items that caught my eye in their recent Facebook post so I decided to rush over from work, all the way in Berkeley, before they closed. I was met with warm and friendly greetings at the door by two gentlemen who had offered assistance with anything I might need during my visit. I was quite impressed with the vast array of products, goods, kitchenware and furniture that they had in stock. By the end of my visit, I left quite satisfied with my purchase of an airlift pro desk riser, electric tea kettle and a beautiful 16 piece dinnerware set. Think twice before you purchase any furniture from this place due to their harsh return policy. If you buy a dining table that you build at home and there is a missing piece or you purchase a dresser and it's defective you might be out of luck. I learned it the hard way. I have spend thousands of dollars from this place and recommended it to others however after my recent experience I want to share with others to just pay the 10-20 percent more and just purchase it at Costco where you can return in a situation like mine. I purchased a dresser when I arrived home I noticed it was defective and one of the doors wouldn't close properly I took it back and was told there are no refunds on furniture and they can exchange however they all looked like they had dings and perhaps I no longer should take the risk on this item. I thought it was unfair and asked for options and unfortunately there wasn't any. I asked for store credit and was denied and kept on being forced to agree and exchange. I spoke to three different individuals then asked if there someone else I can speak to perhaps the owner and I was told " I am the owner and so is she and the young man" apparently everyone there is the owner which is fine however an owner or manager works with customers to find a solution and I'm gonna tell you at one point everyone I spoke to was very defensive and angry. You never get defensive and angry you take care of the customer. What happens if I purchase a dining table and it's missing a piece and I return and you don't have another dining table to exchange? Your out of luck because there is no returns on furniture. I wasn't left with options I didn't demand my money back I said let's meet half way and give me store credit that I can use towards other items and I was denied. An owner or manager should have the ability to work with a customer in a situation like this. I advised since they won't give me options it's either their way or nothing then I was definitely going to share their bad business practices to prevent this from happening to others and from what I observed I'm not the only one that this has happened to. The lady who I was speaking to became very angry took it very defensive and walked away from me. At the end I was offered to exchange for furniture only and it had to be " NOW -TODAY" yet they didn't have much inventory a few couches and bed frames which I don't need my only option was to take the dresser that looked like it had the less tear on it. It would have been a going idea to take care of the customer and give me store credit ok sure don't give me my money back I'll live with that but meet me half way and let me clear your shelf out of something else with store credit if your the owner you can do anything you own the place but you couldn't even do that not ok. Beware you might not want to take a chance and spend a lot of money on a harsh policy that isn't written on a sales receipt and deal with people that are in it for themselves rude and not very good with customers. read more

I'm obsessed with this store and their weekly deliveries from Costco!! As another reviewer said, you do need to know that some items may be returns and thus, may not work. This happened to us with a water dispenser we purchased. They had about 10 in stock, and all had some sort of issue. We didn't know until we bought one and tried it for a few days, then exchanged it and the same thing happened again. You have to keep your receipt (and they are tiny receipts!) and you can return what doesn't work. Some of the bigger items could be priced a little lower. However, overall they are a great, family-run business and super nice. Love that they post their weekly deliveries on their Facebook page, too! read more

Woahhhhhh when I found this place online I didn't believe it would even still be open and conducting business by the time I arrived but it was! They have a small amount of a ton of different things, from above ground pools, bicycles, air fryers, sheets, underwear, couches, granola bars, diet supplements, hats, fans, and on and on. I go here all the time. Lots of Costco and Target items. Prices on most things are good/fair however it's hit and miss. I've bought light fixtures, LED bulbs, Clothes, shoes, furniture, shower heads and more. However INSPECT what you buy. I recently found out some of the items are customer returns or damaged goods. Two light fixtures I bought had damage, 1 shower head hose was cracked, security light I bought didn't work and had signs of previous installation and a cat post I bought had a ton of fur on the top carpeted area. Granted they normally refund or exchange the item. It's become so many times that I'm not sure I want to buy from here. I also tried Heroic in Clayton and it's the same thing. read more

This store has horrible return policies and rude owners. I would never recommend purchasing from here unless you like spending money on something that ends up being useless. I have talked to others that used to like this store, but then ran into an issue with a purchase and were told 'oh well'. Horrible Horrible, I'd leave zero stars if I could. Take your money somewhere else that actually cares about their customers happiness. I'd spend more money at a different shop and know that my satisfaction was going to be important to the establishment I am spending my hard earned money with.
