I was looking forward to working with them after all of the good reviews but that was not my experience. Communication is a huge issue with them. Contractor came the day before we agreed to meet, then for follow up he called when he was due to be there and said that he was an 1.5 away, could we reschedule (should have known then), was told i would have estimate next day, week went by, was told i would have contract (I know) that night and yep, a week went by again with NO COMMUNICAITON. Finally spoke to owner who said that he would have to keep better eye on his team.... ! did not go with this company. read more

Our experience with Mighty Pavers from start to finish was an amazing one! I got multiple estimates for our front bluestone path project- and from the very first visit Jack was the clear winner given his professionalism, promptness, competitive quote and clear game plan. He used this super nifty iPad app to 3D measure and map out everything and presented us with a visual diagram alongside the quote (including detail on the stone pattern layout). Was clear to me right then and there why Mighty Pavers was going to be the right choice (and why they already had so many five star reviews). Jack was able to fit us in on the first set of nice days much earlier than expected, and I especially appreciated that he was able to clean up and re use some of my existing bluestone (to which some other companies said wouldn't be possible). The crew was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, prompt and hard working. They finished the job in 3 days (which required quite a bit of regrading, cleaning of old blue stone pieces, laying out a lengthy curved path, putting in two sleeves for wires and sprinklers to run under the path). Not only did they do that job- they also fixed a number of loose bluestone rocks on a rock wall, and re leveled another bluestone stepping path simply because they were there and had the extra time and materials in hand! I was blown away by their willingness to help, and how neat and precise the whole crew was. As for the path it looks EXACTLY like Jack's initial drawing and turned out beautifully - we've been getting compliments on it daily! Mighty Pavers was absolute pleasure to work with- go no further if you are looking for a crew that literally will go above and beyond to make all of your stone work beautiful, for a competitive price, and a top not professional experience from top to finish. MIGHTY PAVERS - GREAT SERVICE, FAIR PRICING, EXCELLENT AND RESPONSIBLE WORKERS After weeks of searching for a competent (keyword) mason to build a 2,000 sq. ft. TRI-LEVEL PATIO, we found Mighty Pavers and its owner, Ricardo. Ricardo knows his business. After interviewing four other masons/landscapre designers, what a breathe of fresh air it was to find Ricardo who listened, measured, made suggestions, and returned with a reasonable estimate and a plan for moving forward. We also found him to be a kind and honest man, in whom you may feel secure investing your money. Ricardo told me on or about the date we would start, and he stuck to it within a few days. From day 1, he explaned that weather could always be a reason for delays. He also told me that the project would take three weeks. He completed the project right on time, minus the several days of rain that stopped the workmen. With Ricardo's help, the very long and detailed project, which included a raised 400 s.f. paver patio off the kitchen, then two steps down to an approximately 1,200-foot patio around our pool, then another two steps down to a round fire pit area, and all accompanying paths connceting these areas, was refined from its original design. In the end, he created an even better design than I started with - and he DID NOT CHARGE ME FOR HIS DESIGN HELP!!! Along the way, Ricardo advised us of needs we had that we did not know about: he layed underground conduits for a future sprinkler system, put in drainage pipes to support downspout run-off and advised us about where we may need dry wells. This man is meticulous about his work. Ricardo is astute in communicating, exudes a kindness unlike any other contractor I have ever worked with, and has a genuine interest in creating and implementing a project. Jack and his team updated the front of our house, which included updating our landings and stairs to our home with pavers and bluestone as well as repairing and updating our composite wood deck. Throughout the project, Jack was extremely responsive and the final product was stellar. He not only did beautiful mason work, but ensured the deck work was extremely thorough and detailed (first time doing decking for his company). Ricardo (the owner) was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted to do and worked with us to come up with solutions. Other contractors that we spoke with tried to tell us what we wanted. The quote was reasonable and the work was done within the quote, even a few small extra bits like re-laying the Belgian block along the driveway edge which wasn't part of the quote. The crew performed top-quality work, cleaned up after every day and completed the job quickly. Ricardo gave us advance notice when he was ready to start and kept us updated along the way (eg, if they weren't going to work on a particular day because of the weather). Finding good contractors is always not that easy. I contacted 2 prior contractors before I found Ricardo. One came for an estimate but I think the job was too big so he never followed up , the other responded but never came for an estimate. Luckily I found Ricardo and his company. Communication was excellent, price was fair from what I was anticipating. His workers were very diligent and worked through very hot weather and finished on time and cleaned up everything. I had my porch and driveway re done with pavers, everything turned out better than expected. Two years ago, Mighty Pavers replaced our front walkway steps and porch with Cambridge Pavers. We were extremely happy with all aspects of the process, and now that we are ready to have our back patio re-done, we are going to go with Mighty Pavers again. The owner, Ricardo, is extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest, and easy to talk to. Every time I have dealt with him he showed up on time to give an estimate, spent as much time with me as necessary, and gave me an idea of the cost of the job on the spot. He also does not take shortcuts that other contractors do, and is always upfront about potential issues with the work: for example, other contractors told me they could do my patio around my ductless mini-split unit, while he told me that to do the job right, I need an HVAC contractor to temporarily remove the unit. He was also upfront with me about the amount of damage the machinery will cause to my lawn. Others wouldn't mention those types of issues out of fear of losing business, but Ricardo makes sure he does his jobs the right way. And needless to say, for me to be using him again, the quality of the work itself was excellent. Highly recommended! read more

In getting quotes to do my driveway, I was initially excited to be getting a quote from mighty Pavers. In person, Ricardo seemed very nice. But ultimately won't be going with them due to the following difficulties: - didn't bring any measurement tools to the estimate and had to come back later to do measurements for pitch - I had to specifically ask for a formal written estimate rather than it being provided after his in person visit - wasn't able to write in formal contract/estimate that related town codes would be followed as a part of the work - surprising and disappointing email exchange after the in person estimate where rather than try to work with us on some sort of price reduction agreement if he isn't ultimately able to give us what we needed, he instead just opted out of the job Content of exchange is below: Email 1: Hi Ricardo, I didn't hear back from you regarding my estimate for the driveway paving once you had a chance to come out and measure. When you have a moment, I'd love to get the estimate. Sincerely, Rachel Email 2: Hi Rachel, I have great news!  I went there yesterday afternoon and confirmed that you have enough pitch from the bottom of the gate, all the way to the sidewalk, which means that you don't need any drains. So if you would like to sign up with us, then I just need a copy of your survey to get a permit. I would only know that when I put a string line from the gate to the sidewalk after the driveway is partially excavated.
