Slab Leak Unfortunately, my experience with this company was disappointing. They diagnosed the problem and completed a repair that, according to them, would resolve the issue. However, the original problem remained exactly the same after the work was completed. When I contacted them to let them know the issue had not been fixed, they came back to inspect it but maintained that their repair was not the cause of the ongoing problem. I understand that plumbing issues can be complex, but I expected a more thorough diagnosis and greater accountability when the initial repair did not solve the issue. I ended up getting another opinion, and the problem was identified differently. I believe it's important for companies to carefully diagnose the source of a problem before recommending costly repairs. I noticed in the early morning before I'd leave for work that my bathtub faucet was leaking into the tub. I called for to have them come diagnose the problem. Told be that the cartridge was bad but the company that makes them no longer makes the part. They gave me an estimate and I called another plumbing company with the orange vans to diagnose the problem and leave me an estimate as well. Not only was Mighty Plumbers a few hundred dollars cheaper but the experience with the other company would've had me going back to them anyway. The other company didn't even bother taking off the face plate or shutting the water off to diagnose it and didn't send me the estimate until the next day when I had to call and ask about it. The guy that came out for the estimate with Mighty Plumbers walked me through step by step and showed me all the parts that were bad and described the repair in detail. After deciding to move forward with Mighty Plumbers they were able to come the same day and get the work done. After the job was done they tested everything before closing up the wall and noticed the shower head was leaking behind the wall and the tech said he had a spare on the truck and replaced it for free. We requested a quote on yelp's for the moen cartridge replacement late afternoon, Ralph from mighty plumbers responded pretty fast and showed up in 40 minutes. He explained to me the valve needed to be replaced because of the damage when I was trying to remove the stubborn old cartridge with calcification buildups. He quoted me the price and helped to cap the valve so that I could use the water that night. He came back the next morning to finish the job. I am very pleased with his work and professionalism.
