I needed my Pressure Regulating Valve replaced, they sent a quote and offered to be out in 45 minutes if needed. We agreed on the price and Bob came out and did the work, super nice guy, lives the next neighborhood over! He explained exactly what and how he was going to do the replacement and even got me a double union PRV so that next time I could literally replace it myself in about 30 minutes! Fabulous plumber. So pleased with Bob - we had him replace all the angle stops in our house and do other minor plumbing work, then install a whole house water filter which required a repipe. Several other quotes were higher and suggested putting the massive ugly filter by our front door (ew no), or burying it in the front garden, or covering it with a large fake rock. Bob looked it over and realized we could repipe through our bathroom wall and through the attic and put the damn thing in the GARAGE where it belongs. He did a meticulous job. A few weeks later we drove by a nearby house we toured during our home search and the new owners had installed their filter in the front next to their entry way door! I had a good chuckle. Later, we had Bob install new Toto toilets in all our bathrooms, and most recently a reverse osmosis system. But what stood out was that Bob was the business owner who directly responded and came out to look at the issue. I'd rather have to deal with one person all the way through than a receptionist who sends a random plumber to my house.The other thing is he's open 24/7 and he said I could call him whenever if there's an emergency! I take out the trash and noticed that my Navian tankless water heater located in my garage is flashing a red light with a wrench icon. Considering how expensive these tankless water heaters are, I immediately texted Bob at RJB Plumbing--he's my go-to plumber after I had discovered his services last year. He's also a Navian-certified technician. Within minutes, I get a reply (Note this is a Sunday night at 8 pm). He instructed me to first check to see if there is an error code. I do so and texted him back with the code. Then he told me to reset the system to see if the code would go away. Sure enough, it does. The water heater is working normally again. Bob reminds me to keep an eye on the system, and if there are issues, to contact tech support and loop him in. He has all the replacement parts on hand if repairs are needed. Note also that he wasn't the one who installed this water heater in the first place. I went with another plumber BEFORE finding out about Bob through friends. So it speaks volumes about Bob, and how he goes above and beyond for his customers, even for the things he didn't installed. And unscrupulous plumbers out there would have taken advantage of my situation and charge an exorbitant amount for less than 2 minutes of work. Not Bob. No charges here. He's the real deal and the reason why I continue to recommend him to numerous neighbors and friends. And I don't take these Yelp reviews lightly either. He was pretty booked for the week but was able to squeeze me in the following day. We just went through our first experience with a water leak in our home. After having the water damage mitigation done we reached out to quite a few plumbers to repair leak. Robert was quick to respond and even had availability to come out the same day that I contacted him, unlike a lot of the other companies that I had contacted. I called RJB Plumbing based on reviews, ratings while appliance delivery guys were still at my house saying they could not install our new fridge due to a broken ice maker valve. I called RJB Plumbing, scheduled a time to come later that afternoon and got a fair quote. To be fair, RJB was the first plumber I called, but I did call others afterwards and got similar quotes. He asked very descriptive questions upon my call, and also let me know he would be checking the water pressure cautioning me that water pressure adjustment / fixing could be additional. Robert gave us a few options when he assessed the situation. First of all, yes our water pressure was too high, our regulator was not functioning properly and because our gate valve was so calcified (my husband had had to turn our water off once and also knew our gate valve was iffy at best) how much it would cost to replace. But he also still gave us the option to do the original repair which would be to repair the valve behind the fridge. My husband and I discussed, knowing that we had wanted to replace our main water shutoff eventually and get the water pressure under control we opted to get all of it done at one time. Having Robert over was a great experience, he explained everything that he was doing, gave us very clear tips on maintaining our plumbing. I've never been so happy about a main water shutoff valve! It's so new and shiny now and we don't have to worry about it falling apart one day !!! Oh and we were finally able to install the fridge ourselves with our nice new valve! read more

Bob was able to solve my problem and return my sink to functionality, without having to jack-hammer the floor. I got recommended to ask RJB for help with a water heater installation. I knew *nothing* about them, what I would need, where to put it, anything. He answered my call, and came over the next morning to take a look for free. He explained different water heaters, how they work, and helped guide me to a solution that worked for my needs. I'm renting, so I can't do major modifications to my property. He showed me camping water heaters and worked out a deal where if I did my own research, found one I liked, and ran it by him to make sure it would work for me, he would come and install it for his normal hourly rate. Once I got my water heater, he came over and installed it, once again walking me through everything and making sure I knew how it worked. I was missing a hose adapter and he had a spare in his van. I waited until Monday morning to call a plumbing company I had used previously. They didn't answer and I left a message. They didn't call back in what I believed was an appropriate amount of time so I went to Yelp. I saw the excellent reviews from RJB and liked that they were local. I called the number and got an immediate answer. Bob happened to be available , in my area and was at my house in 15 minutes. The price he quoted seemed fair and he set about replacing my water heater. He was quick, efficient and had the new water heater installed and functioning in a few hours. He fixed a couple related issues during the install and the finished installation was clean. Bob gave thorough explanations about operation and maintenance and the warranty. Could I have waited, shopped around and saved a few dollars? Maybe, but I really needed a shower and I wouldn't be any more satisfied with the service and installation.
