Have you ever ate something so good you had to look at it in astonishment?? Well if not, you will when you come to Migs! THE FOOD I ordered the steak bomb and it was just that...BOMB! I've never had anything like it before. Simply calling it A cheese steak is disrespectful in my opinion. It's like a cheese steak and an Italian sub had a baby. It has steak peppers, salami, mushrooms (I omitted the mushrooms ) all blanketed by a layer of hot bubbly cheese and cradled by a toasty yet soft slice of French bread. THE RANCH I came to Greenwood SC. for work and was unsure of what to eat. One of my co-workers mentioned mig's and talked about how he always gets a cup of the ranch to go. When I arrived at mig's the workers were talking about how good the ranch was and now here I am making RANCH it's own little segment on Yelp SO YOU KNOW IT 'S GOTTA BE GOOD! This is hands down the best ranch I have ever had in my life... seriously. The ranch is made in house and the flavor is just ridiculously good. I really don't know how to explain it. My meal came with a side of fries and to be honest, I was sad because I had nothing else to dip in my ranch. Had the worst experience at MiGs today here in Greenwood. I came in to eat with my family and after waiting 30 minutes and the food hit the tables except for mine. We kindly asked for assistance and someone took the receipt to the back. Once they brought receipt back out they apologized and said it would be put shortly. waited another 15 minutes and still nothing. my family finishing a whole large pizza and I still had nothing. When we asked to speak to a manager all she did was bring us our moneys back for the missing item. I usually bring my kids here to eat but will no longer be back. read more

I use to work there and the place is disgusting. They once made me give a customer their food with hair in it, and when I complained abt it they js said to take it out. Like wtf. Then y'all the ranch is licked why all them nasty waiters that don't know how to do their job. And one time there were cockroaches on 14 boxes of potatoes which that was gross asf. There also hellaaa roaches everywhere. And they don't watsh the potatoes correctly, ik that bc when they were training me they taught me incorrectly. All Italian restaurants in Greenwood are sick. We only visit once every couple months, but their food is always consistent. This is one of our favorite joints for pizza, but I do hate that they charge a fee for paying with a card and for a cup of ice water (which is usually free) so don't be surprised. read more

My daughters and I were traveling through the area and they wanted pizza. We chose this particular restaurant based off of other Yelp reviews, but were VERY disappointed. First, they brought half the food order out, which consisted of mediocre (AT BEST) spaghetti with obviously canned sauce and canned mushrooms. After waiting over 15 minutes I checked in the remainder of the order. The waitress said that they "dropped our pizza and were remaking it". We watched as 3 other pizzas were brought out and delivered to other tables. I eventually spoke with a manager and requested my money back. Manager was rude. Staff was rude. Being that I've been to all of the other Mig's locations, this one has ben the least impressive. Our pizza was so greasy that I had to use two whole napkins to pat the grease of of three slices. Our waitress was very unattentive, but our food arrived shortly after ordering. The atmosphere was pretty neat and open in the main dining area, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars for cleanliness. Migs is one of the best places in Greenwood! I've only eaten at the one in 96 once but if it's anything like the greenwood store I'm sure it's good! We love coming here or ordering takeout about two times a week (every other few weeks). The food is really good! My co-worker would KILL me if she saw me giving this place just an average rating. Of course I can understand where she's coming from, if someone told me one of the places I grew up with was "just ok" I'd be pretty upset as well. Mig's pizza castle in my opinion is "just ok". They serve up pizza, sandwiches, calzones, and other fried type foods. I've had both the sandwiches and calzones and can't say it blew my mind away. Is it good for the area? Yeah, I can see how people would like this place. It's quick, filling, and decently priced. And for all us with short lunches, that makes a huge difference. This place came highly recommended, so we were very disappointed at how dirty the restaurant was. I had to wipe down all the chairs for us to be able to set at a table, there was trash on the floor, food on the floor and it was sticky and the tables not been wiped down. When we received the food it was hot & tasty. But, we weren't given silverware. We had to chase that down. A server volunteered to send a manager, but we never saw her. I didn't give this 5 stars for it being a gourmet restaurant. I base my ratings on how restaurants compare to similar restaurants and were they are located. Migs is a good restaurant! It's clean, has great food, it's affordable, and run like a small town restaurant should be. The staff are always curtious. There is also no tipping here, which means you actually get what you pay for. Most people rave about the pizzas, which I think are ok. They had me at "steak sandwich"!!! These are the highlight of the menu in my opinion. The onion rings are great, but not nauseously greasy like the Dixie. My entire family is pleased with this restaurant. If you can please the kids and parents, and do it inexpensively, you are doing something right! I've tried some of their franchises, but Saluda, Laurens, and Greenwood are the best! Stay away from Newberry, it's not fair that place is called Migs (different owner). I wish they'd open one closer to where I live! read more

I could deal with the guy smoking a cigar by the front door every time I came. I called, asked if they had ARTICHOKE, they said yes. Instead, they put anchovies on a pizza. I called and gave the boss an opportunity to make it right, and his response was he already gave me half off my second pizza (they always have a BOGO half off). I said that's not making it right. His response was "Go ahead and post a review, big guy." So here I am. I don't need their overpriced, mediocre food just because it's the only pizza in town. I definitely don't need to eat at a place that can't tell an artichoke from a fish. Mig's is a local Greek owned restaurant with meals ranging from Pizza (obviously), Calzones, Subs, Sandwiches, Seafood, and even my favorite, the Chicken Strip plate. The flavors presented in their offerings is truly phenomenal. The servings are also great for the price! Order a Cheese Steak and you'll be lucky to get through it!
