I went in yesterday as a walk-in which I really do appreciate. I needed a haircut ASAP and was hesitant on getting a haircut with someone new other than my friend who has been cutting my hair since cosmetology school. I am very happy with my haircut, best haircut I've had in a while. As a cosmetologist myself I also like to try different hair salons just for fun and the experience. I've been coming to Miguel's Beauty Salon on and off for more than 15 yrs. I will continue to support Miguel's Beauty Salon because they seem to grow very successfully. I showed the stylist a picture of the color I wanted for my hair , she promised she was able to do it and even said it would look better than the model in the picture, 5.5 hours later my hair was done , colored , trimmed and she even curl it for me, for what I could see it looked great ! Paid my $280 dollars even left a tip and went home happy.... Fast forward to Today on I look at the back of my hair and it's 3 different colors , i immediately called the lady who worked on my hair and sent her pictures , her response was "Oh yes I did see that but It's mostly in the back you can't see it much, and I didn't want to use more bleach on you" I asked her is she saw that why didn't she asked me if I would be ok with that , her answer was " I can fix it , but I would have to add more highlights, to the back of the head , it will be $200" I was very disappointed because the client care was great , she was very nice and we even exchanged phone numbers , I just don't see fair that I have to pay $200 on top of the $280 that I already paid , to have the hair that I was originally promised. I have tried to set up an Appointment to get a haircut and biolage color but I keep getting denied, and third time the person told me that they don't accept new client, so how am I gonna be a regular client when they don't accept new clients, I think that's full BS read more

Favorite hair salon in Phoenix! My hairstylist Alondra always does an amazing job on my hair I definitely recommend 10/10

I am a returning customer after going to other salons requesting a service that by some hairstylists is considered "for older people" and "a dying breed". I suddenly remembered this place from my youth and am glad I took a chance to come in. Every stylist is friendly and very accommodating. Two people now have served be and they both know exactly how to do a perm, without hesitation. Now my child was dying to have the curls she once had as an infant. Her hair got cut into a short bob once and her curls never returned. She was devastated! Miguel happened to be here and offered his expert opinion to the stylist to ensure the finished product was satisfactory. Again, very friendly staff and the prices are very comparable; dare I say cheap, compared to the wasted money of having to drive around and search high & low for someone who offers this service. Through my journey with other salons, I have had some not so memorable experiences and a lot of wasted with others not preforming the service to my liking and the curls not lasting at all. Highly recommend! This is an old school beauty salon where you can pretty much walk out with exactly what you are looking for as someone here will more than likely know how to perform even the most intricate requests. read more

This was a pretty good haircut experience we all got what we wanted that was until we got home! We were talking about the haircuts and everything was fine but then my sister said that she paid 35 ( as an adult) but then we realize that it was supposed to be 15 for each child. There was two children me and my sister and my mom said she paid 35 for each of us! I would recommend if you want to be overpriced! But they still did really good haircut! read more

I got my color and highlight done here and the stylist Melissa did an AMAZING job. Went back a month later to get more highlight (see pic) and was even more in love with my hair. Blondes really do have more fun I have to say. Customer service is great as well ! I went in on Saturday and the shop was really busy but i got seated right away.The receptionist Maury gave me a big smile as I walked in made me feel really welcome. I found a hair salon for life. you know, it's honestly rare for me to leave a review at a place but my experience here wasn't the greatest! I was a little annoyed because I was in a time crunch since I had a wedding at 3 and I was getting a hair dye and a cut and meanwhile my hair dyes or whatever, (she didn't really tell me how long it will take ) I sat here more then 45 mins meanwhile she takes other clients! and then again, she takes another client, it felt like an hour already and she just won't stop talking to her clients! I just feel like I'm advance let your customer know how long it will take! or at least try to multitask one and another. read more

Just came to this salon and got the worst hair cut of my life. Asked for a trim and face framing, showed her the picture and she ended up doing nothing that I wanted. She ended up cutting like 4 inches off and completely butchered the front of my hair. Before this I had long hair with it even all around and now its so short and is reaching my shoulders. I have sections in the front that are touching my chin and other sections that are barely at my shoulder. The mirror was too high and I wasn't able to see what she was doing at all otherwise I would've told her to stop. Would not recommend this place to anybody at all, would give a 0 if I could. read more

Got a nice skin fade, great service! Didn't need an appointment, walked in and was greeted immediately.

Went the first time and it was ok. The second time a guy walked out with his head looking like Tiki Barber cut it. No shit! She took a trimmer right down the middle all the way to the skin. They were all laughing about it when he stormed out. Then, I kept asking mine to blend in the side to the top. I left with one side shaved to the top and the other side blended and she even trim around half of my ear. Will not make that mistake again! read more

I went in asked for a bob haircut came out with my hair all messed up not even what I asked for . It was just cut short from the back with no form to it what so ever ! I dont recommend them at all. The women there always have an attitude no good customer service what so ever. read more

Would not recommend! Took my 6 year old son to get his hair cut here. I told the lady how I wanted it from a picture they had on their wall. Haircut looked nothing like the picture. To make things worst she shaved a little piece of his eyebrow! I don't know how this happened. I would understand if my son was moving around but my son does very well when getting his haircut & sits still. So don't waist your money here! Never going back! Been going there for over 10 yrs, NEVER had a bad experience. They really take into consideration what you tell them you want and the employees there are very nice. They were even nice enough to put my hair in a pony tail before cutting it once when I wanted to donate my hair to locks of love and they did and gave it to me so I could send it in to the organization to use. So if you're looking for a good haircut for a reasonable price they're definitely the ones to go to. Like I said I've NEVER had a bad experience ALWAYS on point on their services. Wouldn't change them for anyone else and I live on the faaaaaarr west side of town so it takes me about a half hour drive. read more

This place is the worst beauty salon i have ever been to and Worst experience i ever had. I gave them a picture of how i wanted my hair and it came out nothing how i expected. The lady and the man there said that they will be able to do it that it was not complicated but obviously it was because they werent able to do it. I kept on telling the lady that i didnt like it but she kept saying it looked fine and wasnt listening to me. I was being calm about the situation. I asked her if she could fix it and she tried to fix it but it still looked bad. she would say t at she liked the other way i had my hair that the one she gave me wasnt as good. I still paid them which made me upset and gave a tip. they wont answer my phone calls. That's very unprofessional if you won't even answer the phone calls what kind of business is this. I will never come back to this place and I'm only writing this because I think people should know how it actually is. Normally I hate writing reviews but people deserve to know this is probably the worst place to get your hair done.
