Got a perm done here with AJ, this was the first hair salon i've ever been to and it was the best experience. AJ was very comforting and everyone made me feel welcomed. Talked majority of the way through the process and did not feel awkward at all, would definitely recommend to others. I'm not sure why there are so many one stars, it's maybe because of the 15 minute no-show policy but to be fair, all they expect is just a phone call if you're going to be 15 minutes or more late on the day of the appointment, if you don't call and you're 15 minutes late, they move on and you lose your $50 deposit. it's a fair rule and it's not difficult to manage at all. 5 stars. read more

I absolutely LOVE Diana! She does my hair every time. I receive a quality shampoo and scalp massage and then when seated she uses another massager on your shoulders are upper back that just really relax you. This beautiful hair salon is hands down one of the best salons I've ever visited. It was my first time going, and I was greeted instantly by all the hairstylist crew. I went near Christmas, and you could feel the holiday spirit here. All of them dressed up beautifully in their Christmas outfits too! I loved it so much and felt very welcome. The owner is trash, trains stylists to scam their clients, and their work is just "meh". Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER SALON. I had initially called and Aj was the one who helped me set up my appointment and she let me know she was new at the salon and is looking to built her clientele so I didn't mind booking with her since I've never dyed my hair and I let her know that since I have never dyed my hair before I was looking to get something like a balayage but a bit more subtle so when my hair grew you wouldn't be able to notice my roots as well as a money piece and she let me know we could start by a partial highlight to get those results. The day of my appointment came and she called me at around 12-1 to let me know she was running behind on her last service and moved my 2pm appointment to 3pm and I was pretty understanding since you know things happen. I showed up to the salon at 3 and I still had to wait for her for about 10-15 minutes which I still didn't mind. When she brought me back I showed her my reference picture and she went ahead and told me we could do the partial highlights with the money piece and I thought it would look at least somewhat close to my reference picture but it ended up looking completely different. The main concern with my results is that about 4-5inches of my tips still look completely brown and the top of my hair looks blond. I reached out to her and let her know I felt like there wasn't a smooth transition and you can definitely tell where the dye ends and my hair looks completely 2 diferentes colors and I don't even have a money piece, it's just a strand of hair. She pretty much wanted me to book another service so she can fix it because she only had me booked for a partial highlight meaning she didn't have enough time to deliver what I had asked for (even though my appointment was moved and she was rushing to get me out because they were about to close) She never mentioned to me I wouldn't be getting results close to my reference picture. What I mind the most is that she tried to blame the crappy transition of the hair dye on the fact that she didn't book me for a balayage. I let her know I didn't think it was fair for her to charge me again to make my hair blend and she just ignored my text. I never reached out to a manager because at this point I wish I never came here to get my hair done. read more

Cockroaches, terrible attitudes, overpriced services, quantity over quality. I scheduled a haircut and color for my girlfriend for 10/15/24 at 9am. I dropped her off and instantly she was greeted with a woman with the upmost terrible attitude and a cockroach on her toes as she sitting down. The employee then proceeds to ask my girlfriend what she wants. My girlfriend is showing her photos of the haircuts and color she wants and she so impatient she can't fathom my girlfriend is getting color as well as a haircut. Basically just overlooking the appointment we had initially set and turning it into a haircut only appointment because it was going to take too long. My girlfriend doesn't say anything as she's sweet and doesn't know how to stand up for her self in situations like these. All in all, I set up an appointment with a $35 deposit for hair and color and walked out spending an additional $60 and just receiving a haircut, no color. Her impatience led to my girlfriend not receiving why she rightfully wanted. We set up the proper appointments to make sure she got color and due to the impatience and incompetence of this Salon, I am out $100 and my girlfriends hair looks the same. I went to Studio 51 in Laveen to get partial highlights, I showed a picture of how I wanted them to Ariel the manager ,she did my highlights I paid 120.00 and when I got home I was very disappointed bc my hair looked like nothing was done to it. I called Ariel and told I wanted my highlights to look thicker. She said I can bring u in next week, I asked her if I had to pay more to fix my hair and she said it was going to be $65.00. WTH? To fix your mistake? Why do I have to pay more? Than I called the owner the next day and explained the issue and she said. There was nothing she could do. Really? I really wanted to love this place. My experience this past weekend. I can't remember who did my hair but when we had the consultation I showed a picture of a girl with long layers and a face frame. They stylist and I both agreed To leave my length and only give me a nice noticeable frame . She even mentioned how she didn't like short layers on long hair. I saw her chopping off a good amount of hair but trusted the process. I have been letting my hair grow for years so this day was big to me. When she was done I walked out of there content but following the next days I noticed the really short layers and how one side was obviously shorter than the other. My haircut just looks strange, specially when it's straightened because you can visibly tell the really long bottom layer vs the really short one and it only looks decent when it's curled. It also makes my hair look thinner and I wanted the short layers to make my hair looked thicker not the other way around. I feel like I'm order for this haircut to look decent , I'm going to have to cut it shorter. The lady was nice. I just wish we could've stick to the plan. I guess my only hope is my hair will look better when my short layers grow out and I can get the look I was hoping for. Will most likely not go back again. read more

They tried to blame it on me for being 3 minutes late when the person who was suppose to cut my hair wasn't even there and wasn't going to be there 10 minutes. I use to think this place was going to be the go-to place for my hair as I don't trust many people with my hair. My 1st experience was amazing! Rebekah did my hair and it came out beautiful. But after today, I will never go back. I booked an appointment 2weeks ahead of time and I get to my appointment today and there was no appointment scheduled. I had even called yesterday to ask about getting an extra appointment for Saturday for an updo, and at which time I confirmed my appointment. I was told today that they didn't see my appointment nor a deposit that was required to book, which was never told to me at the time of booking. And instead of honoring the appointment and taking the word of the employees saying they never took my call , which was 1 of 2 possible girls, she just said " nothing I can do, sorry". It's disappointing and sad at the lack of customer service. So if you plan on booking an appointment, I suggest walking in and doing it because whoever answers the phones there, clearly suck at it. read more
