We scheduled Dave to check the dryer duct in our home as I noticed the dryer took much longer to dry a load. He arrived early, texting first to confirm, and was all smiles, easy to talk to, with a great sense of humor. Dave checked the system, performed the cleaning and replaced the hose at the back of the dryer, securing it in place with a band. Our laundry room is small, but Dave was able to pull the dryer forward and get into the tiny space behind it to do the work efficiently. We completed a five month total remodel of our home in San Marcos and in spite of thorough cleaning.... we have been experiencing a tremendous amount of surface dust. Our contractor insured us they had cleaned out the heating and air ducts... and from the openings they appeared clean. We called Dave and he came out and looked at our entire HVAC system and said we needed it cleaned. He told us the cleaning would greatly reduce the dust. Because of the design of our system we had 10 supply registers, and 7 Return air registers. At his price of $35 per register I thought that was quite expensive... but wanted to solve the problem... so we made an appointment to have the entire system cleaned. Dave showed up right on time and spent almost an hour and one half setting up his equipment and preparing our registers. He has a massive vacuum that sucks from a central location and he goes from register to register, cleaning with a rotary brush... and blowing high pressure through the duct toward the vacuum location. Then he moves the vacuum to different locations and repeats the process. He has a great work ethic... he worked diligently... and wasted no time. the 17 registers and changing the central filter took all day long. When he finished he showed me the internal filters of the vacuum.... I have included photos... and I could not believe how much debris, dirt and fine dust he had accumulated. The was no doubt in my mind it was worth every penny! In the week since his service call we cannot believe how the dust has disappeared. We recommend him without reservation. Great guy, great service... and great care taken to not harm walls and furnishings. Best Part.... The Dust is gone! read more

*Back story: we had our dryer vent cleaned three months ago and found out the previous company barely did anything after the dryer technician looked at our dryer and found nothing wrong. The dryer duct was supposed to be cleaned but our smart dryer stated that it's 90% clogged and the air vent flap outside my home barely opens. I highly recommend Mihaly Air Care! The level of service provided surpassed expectations. We recently had our air and dryer duct cleaned and sanitized. We had mice in issue in our ceiling and garage and wanted to take extra precaution and get our ducts cleaned. Dave took his time and throughly addressed each vent. He identified and fixed a duct that was too short and venting into the attic. He offered to change our return filter and even helped us fog sanitize our garage. They cleaned and sanitized each vent cover. They came with shoe covers, masks, and cleaned up after themselves. Communication/scheduling was easy and cost was very reasonable. Excellent. David performed a dryer vent & exhaust system cleaning and was very thorough. He addressed the dryer appliance venting of course, but most important to us was the venting that went from the laundry room connection up to the roof. There was a great deal of lint building up at this 15 year old one-story SFD. David also did a an adjustment and minor patch to the flex hose. Very knowledgable and professional. Fee was appropriate and lower than others I contacted. I'm recommending him to family and close friends because lint buildup is serious and can't be done properly without the right gear and know-how. No need to look further, Dave (who is the owner) did an great job cleaning our heating and a/c ductwork, dryer duct and our furnace unit, and he was the lowest of the 3 bids we got. Nothing but positive things to say. He was great right from the start, clearly and quickly communicating on yelp about his pricing and service. He scheduled us for 2 days later and was on time, professional and thorough. He also uses all natural organic products which was important to us. Dave also is an honest and fair owner. When he saw that our furnace wasn't too dirty, and that it was really easy to access it for cleaning, he took some extra off the price he originally quoted. Additionally, he offers essential oils as a treatment in lieu of using chemicals as an anti-microbial barrier, this is especially good for me as I have little in the house.
