They don't have a lot of selections compared to shibuyala, but definitely more than Tokyo Central/Mitsuwa. They also carry Asian sunscreens with filters that are not available in the us. Very light and not heavy feeling that you get with us sunscreen that burn your eyes. They do have a bunch of testers so it's nice when you can do that versus hope that a product work if you're buying something internationally online. It seems like the items are a little bit more expensive than online, but I guess it's the cost of doing business and person, labor, and shipping as well. They do have another random section with kitchen items. But I would say if it's a popular item in Asia cup and you'll probably find it here. read more

The store is much less cluttered than it used to be, and it's very easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. They have a host of Korean and Japanese products, as well as American. They have all the popular brands like CosRX, JM Solutions, PeriPera, Biodance, and more! The lady working there is super sweet and helpful, immediately available for any and all questions or suggestions. She doesn't hover over you or make you feel pressured or uncomfortable. I actually bought way more than I planned to because it was such a great shopping experience. The prices are definitely higher here than most places, but they also have a lot of products here that you can't get anywhere else, including online! An example is Kanebo FreePlus Toner. While waiting for our numbers to be called for a BTS cupsleeve event at Sunstudio, my friends and I walked around the plaza and decided to go into Miibox. One of my friends was looking for an eyeliner from a Japanese brand and I wanted to see what was in here. They sell cosmetics, skincare, snacks, health products, accessories, and some apparel from Asian brands. They have a of mix of affordable brands and some higher priced ones like SK-II and The History of. Staff were friendly and offered to help if we needed it. For the most part, they left us to shop on our own. My friend didn't find what she was looking for and we didn't buy anything that day. But it's a good option if you are interested in Asian brands for makeup and skincare. Pricing is comparable to other places I've gone to. Maybe a little more reasonable than some of the K-beauty shops I've gone to. Parking varies depending on the day and time of day you go. This is my go-to store for any Asian brand beauty items (e.g. skincare, makeup, hair, softest cotton pads, etc). I love going here because I get to try things before I commit to purchasing. It's never crowded and parking is much more reasonable than other places. The store is very bright. They have so many things to try and they sell individual sheet-masks so that you can sample it at home before committing to purchasing the full pack. Everything is reasonably priced and you don't have to wait for shipping! They have a small table for clearance items by the front door and carry some Asian snacks towards the back. I've bought so many Korean/Japanese brand make-up/skincare products from here like PeriPeri, Shiseido, Hera, Kahi, Innisfree, Naturie, Clio, SK-II, Cle de Peau, and more but too many to list. ***If you've never had luxury soften cotton pads, I suggest you to purchase one from here!! Don't sand your skin with cotton pads you buy from your local market or retailer store*** Also, they have a loyalty points reward system so make sure to sign-up! NOTE: most items are in a different language so pull your phone out and use the photo translate feature. I love miibox & that it's right next to one of my go-to restaurants so while I'm waiting for food I shop. I usually get the jm solution collagen facemasks there & the sunscreen spray. Every so often I'll try other new face masks they have but they have a lot of variety from Korea so I try a few but enjoy my favorites. Vegan Reviewer! I stopped by here a few weeks ago. There is sufficient parking, the store is within a plaza. I was super excited to come by this store as I have become really interested in Asian beauty products and skincare! I would say that the store is very clean and bright! I wasn't greeted at all, which isn't important to me but I know it is for some people. I did think it was a bit odd that I wasn't greeted but other girls coming in got greeted and assisted immediately. The store looks very promising, but the products are either really expensive or lack any translation. The "try-on" cosmetics that are left out aren't clean and there aren't any disposable wands or sponges to try out the products in a more sanitary manner. Unfortunately, there aren't many vegan and/or cruelty free products either. I believe I really only located two products that were cruelty-free. I did locate a staff member and she did help me wonderfully with a product, so I think that gives this place a third star at least. I did end up leaving with one cruelty-free product, but came to realize it is so much more affordable from other stores that were in OC. Altogether, it's not too bad but I probably won't make a trip here again. read more

I wandered in while waiting for my order at Thai Spice and wanted to look around at what was available. Everything was well-organized and clean with a variety of different products: facemasks, creams, and cleansers. I was also surprised that they had clothing and accessory storage products also. After a few moments of browsing their store, I was greeted by Chloe who was very nice and offered to help if I had any questions. Since it was daylight savings time, I knew my undereye bags were making me look especially tired this week, and she pointed out an eye cream she recommended. Unfortunately, they were out of stock, but she pumped some product for me to test out and even demonstrated how to effectively apply the cream around my eyes. She also said she was going to reach out when they had the product restocked. Overall, I appreciated getting personalized attention and I felt comfortable asking questions about products I had little experience around. This store has common and reputable brands, Missha, Cosrx, Anessa, Bioré, Ma:nyo, etc. There were testers out for a good amount of the products which is something I value greatly, especially when considering their return policy. From what I have read, returns are not accepted. I'm unable to verify this myself despite purchasing a product I did not like. I want to spare myself the trouble. Everything here is pretty expensive compared to online retailers and your total will rack up quickly. If this doesn't bother you, this store is 100% worth checking out. It's an excellent experience. The shelves are stocked with so many different products from makeup to bathing soap and it genuinely looks like the inside of a beauty shop in Japan. All the products at imported from Japan and Korea and are at very reasonable prices. You can also find all types of Asian snacks in store and they are all import items which you can barely find in other places. Surprisingly I also found the limited edition toy figures. Very aesthetic beauty product store but the employees were none too friendly and I'm glad I ended up taking my business elsewhere. I was dining in the area and wanted to check out this place since they had a few products that I wanted to see the prices for. I was happy to see they had Etude House and a few other Korean skincare items, but found that they were far more expensive than other beauty stores in the area. Their face masks are also very expensive. Each are priced at $3 and up, which I normally wouldn't consider to be a rip off had I been in Sephora, but for products that I know I could get for a cheaper price this is definitely an up sell. The employees only said a simple hello as they acknowledged me walking into the shop. They didn't offer to help and were very engrossed in their conversation. It was to the point where I even felt intimidated to reach out because they wouldn't stop talking to each other. I am disappointed by the cost of these products as well as their overall lack of interest in assisting their customers. Had I received a warmer, more welcoming gesture I would have been more encouraged to actually purchase some of their products. (18/100--2019) read more
