Strawberry margarita.

Where do I begin? Welcoming atmosphere, clean restaurant, and attentive service. I'm not a margarita fan, but I thoroughly enjoy my strawberry margarita and would enjoy again! My fiancé ordered salsa and chips for an appetizer and we were both happily surprised with the fresh chips and tasty green salsa! After enjoying our appetizer we both ordered their three taco dinner special for taco Tuesday. My fiancé order steak tacos and I ordered a combination of chicken tinga, chorizo, and their house special campechano. Everything was amazing!!! My fiancé enjoys the spicier salsas and was offered a habenero red salsa. We sampled all three that was received and have nothing but good things to say about them all. Thank you for an amazing dinning experience tonight, can't wait to come back and enjoy a new dish in the near future!

4 tacos with rice and beans

The place was phenomal. It was a great atmosphere, the vibes are immaculate, but the star of the show was the food. I'll be back

I was very excited to try this place. They have been a staple at the Kenosha Market on Saturdays. I was told they even have a little pop up inside Six Flags. I love a great underdog story. This place is a great addition to that area. The food is fresh and made with love, They have a bar area , and indoor and outdoor seating as well. I will say be patient on service due to it being family run and low on servers but it's worth the wait. This is what was ordered: Guacamole and Chips. The Chips were fresh and hot out the fryer. The Guacamole was well seasoned and chunky, which is my personal favorite.Tacos Al Pastor both chicken and Pork. They come with slices of Pineapple. The meats were both tender and juicy but found I favored the pork due to its flavoring. I also ordered regular Carne Asada as well. The Carne Asada was also tender and not dry. I also had a Mangonada Margarita and Watermelon Margarita. The Mango was definitely the Star! Definitely will be back: 9/10

Beautiful food and drinks served in a relaxed atmosphere with service that feels like you're one of the family. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking here. You want to eat their food, right now.

their famous tamales, el pastor tacos, Barbacoa tacos, a burrito, chilaquiles, and their enchiladas.

Everything was so flavorful you can tell that everything is made from hand especially their chips and salsa. The atmosphere is so welcoming and they treat you just like family. My first time at Mijo's family owned business was amazing.

A variety of different tacos.

We stopped here after doing the mud run, and this place does not disappoint. From the moment that we arrived, the attentiveness from the staff and suggestions on their food left us speechless. We all had tacos and a drink and everything was completely tasty. Wish I live closer so that I can revisit.

Viv, you're a friken rock star! Best mixologist in 200 sq. Miles. Your No. 1 fan -Britt

Viv can make anything. Truly, her drinks are by far next level. Nothing in fox lake can even come close to the expert mixologist she is. Your biggest fan Britt

Glad to have them in the neighborhood. Their quesadillas are my favorite! The homemade chips are amazing. Staff is welcoming and friendly. The alcohol options are a bit limited...hoping that changes. Hoping to see some high end tequila options! I'm hoping their menu options expand in the future..current options are all delicious!

Lynn Catherine's is hilariously described as a deli: that's funny stuff. Come here to play some slots and hang. The prices are pretty good, but you wouldn't expect to pay much at a place such as this. After visiting the lake we came here. It's one of the many bars in town, located in the middle of downtown close to a few others. This place doesn't look like much, but has a good amount of indoor seating and there's a patio. Drinks are cheap. It's about $4 for a basic cocktail like whiskey and whatever. Even though the food isn't impressive, it's not like it's bad. It's about $7 for shareables such as the Pretzel Bites. These were a little burnt, but not that bad to be honest. Good place for cheap drinks and food. It's popular with locals but it's a good place for anyone to stop into. There's also events like live music and whatever.

Almost no one there, presumably because of the early hour. Have walked by at night and usually pretty busy on weekends at least. That said it was Sunday at 4:30. Ambiance was nice. We sat outside on their patio by the fans and temps were a relief after the dire temps in previous days. Food: wish I'd taken a picture before we ate some. It was presented nicely. We had the Asian chicken wraps. It came with four almost, kinda sorta, wilted romaine leaves that were hard to wrap around anything, so that was interesting. I woulda preferred a larger colder iceberg lettuce. Room temperature white rice in the middle of small cube chicken, also room temp? with a teriyaki like sauce on it. On the side and in small containers, it had pickled onions and cucumbers, which were wonderful. Some sort of sweet /hot sauce I'm guessing and radishes with crispy wonton strips. I liked it all ok taste wise, but thought the rice and chicken could have been warm to hot. We also had each a flavored lime mule which was very good for $10 each. Not a lot of alcohol but tasty. Had cold things been cold and hot things been at least warm, it would have been much better. My friend wasn't too hungry or impressed so I took most of it home and warned it up and that is what you see in the picture. It was way more appealing and I just ditched the sorta wilty romaine. The menu doesn't know what it wants to be. It's mostly bar food, some Asian influences and some Greek, thrown in with 3-4salads. I almost like it better when they first opened with a very limited and kinda pricy small bites menu, but I suppose in McHenry you gotta have basic bar food, so I get it. I just wish there were an upscale pub type menu for something different. But that's just me.
