We went to Mikado's for an Air Assault school graduation feast! We are so glad we did. The price is what you'd expect from an open hibachi grill atmosphere. The food/entertainment was excellent. We will definitely be back. For a family of four ordering three chicken teriyaki hibachi and one sushi roll, our order was just over $100. Considering we can go to some fast food restaurants, for a family of four adults, and total almost $100 for a lot less food, I think we did great!

So amazing. The Hibachi was great. Place was clean. Staff was on the ball. Great Experience, Great Chef, great food. Was nice to eat so good, after a short 20 minute night flight on private airplane ride from Nashville. We will definitely come here again for a spontaneous dinner flight.

It's all about a good chef. Jeremiah has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for a great hibachi style meal. He took the time to bring absolute perfection to each course of our meal individually, ensuring a perfect experience. I have been to many places over the past 25 years since my first shogun experience and it's always a crap shoot so to speak. If you dine here make sure and get the best and tip them well for such craftsmanship. Thanks so much Jeremiah.

Came here for lunch. Not bad. Got the shrimp and bulgogi. The shrimp was good and the fried rice and bulgogi was just okay. I preferred the mushroom soup and assorted tempura. My server was attentive and nice. I'd go again.

This place is fantastic. We've known about it for years, but never came because we had a favorite of ours just across the border in TN. Since the other place has gone down a little in quality and atmosphere, we decided to give Mikado a shot. Inside the place is fantastic, very big and open. Parking outside is ample as well. We ALWAYS start off with a Kentucky Derby Roll...it's our go-to roll here and at the other spot. Each time we visit a place with sushi, we always look for a roll that's similar to this, but can't seem to find one. This one is good, ask for extra Eel and YumYum Sauce and you can't go wrong. The salad and soup, while certainly not the star of the show are certainly good. I ordered the filet (medium-rare) and shrimp, big fan of that surf & turf combo. Both are always cooked wonderfully, with the right amount of seasoning and the filet is cooked internally just right. Our chef tonight was spot on with the rice too! Not sure what his name is, but we've had him a few times and he's super consistent on everything he puts on that grill...and it is always delicious. I only have two negative issues that don't really impact the five star rating...1. The masks that the staff wear make it really hard to hear because it's generally pretty loud in the hibachi area. 2. Our chef didn't put on much of a 'show'. I, personally, don't need the show...but I feel that's a big reason why many people come to these places. Anyhow, if you've never been here, please get out there and get yourself a spot at the table. I, for one, think you'll like it.

Losing points for me. This was our 3rd visit for lunch and we were so disappointed this time. Don't know who was in the kitchen but they need more practice. Got lunch plate of shrimp & fried rice. I do not think we got much more than 1/2 cup of rice. The shrimp was drowning in some sauce. The fried items were drizzled with some kind of sauce that made them soggy. Even the flavors of things were off, my lovely fried rice didn't have much flavor , the fried items had "old oil" taste and even the sweet tea had an odd flavor to it. Monday was a really bad day for them. I shall give it another try. If the food is still off then I won't bother again.

Service was excellent. Sushi - superb as always. I am in a food coma. Hoptown sushi is my favorite sushi roll. The bulgogi roll was looking really good though.

Food was great per usual, service was spotty...got drinks after food was delivered...but the wait staff is still pretty damn good...love this place! The specials were big tempura roll, what can you say it's fried sushi, enough said!!! And the bulgogi was tender steak in a roll, also enough said...come have great food at this local establishment...

Absolutely disgusting place. Everything tastes like shit. It's a insult to Japanese food. But got to love the dog shit on my edamame

The ramen was absolutely made with Top Ramen noodles. The broth tasted like the seasoning that comes with Top Ramen but with added veggies. The shrimp was from a frozen bag of seafood. Incredibly rubbery and flavorless. This place has the WORST ramen I've ever had.

I was worried they were going to be packed, but, much to my surprise, we walked in and were seated with menus right away. Our table/booth was extremely clean, and the atmosphere was great. The lighting was dim, making it a more intimate setting - perfect for a date night, if that's what you're looking for. It was also fairly family-friendly, though! We saw a couple of families at booths, especially with younger children or babies. Our waitress was very attentive and brought us drinks and our appetizer right away. We ordered gyoza, which was great! These were fried, and I think I've only ever gotten them steamed at various restaurants, so it was a nice change of pace! The sauce was good and, I think, had green onions and ginger in it. I can't speak on the sangria, as I did not have any because I'm pregnant, but my friend said her drink was strong and tasted great. It took us forever to decide on our sushi order, as their menu is fairly extensive, but we ended up sharing three rolls - the Crunch Munch, Volcano, and Big Mouth. I'm partial to spicy tuna, so the Big Mouth was my favorite, followed by the Crunch Munch, then the Volcano. Honestly, I would probably order all three again, but I'd love to come back to try something new. I can not speak for the rest of the food here, but the sushi hits the spot. Our bill was roughly $60, so it wasn't super cheap, but not bad for 2 people. I'll be back!

Our server was very basic, what can i get you... nothing over the top that you might expect from a fancy steakhouse like cut into your steak to see if it's prepared properly, any cracked black pepper for your Caesar, here are our today's specials, or here's our wine list..etc. The ambiance/decor was nice with whiskey barrels separating the two dining halls. It's a relatively small joint, quiet and relaxing. We both ended up having the fillets with baked potato's and Caesar salad. The Caesar was a standard issue Caesar, I didn't detect any anchovy fish notes like a lot of of steakhouses do which was totally fine. The baked potatoes were good probably our favorite thing we had. The steaks were a miss in both our opinions. I ordered mine med rare she had hers medium. They both arrived medium. They were super flat like a sirloin, dry like a sirloin, and cut like a sirloin.
