This score is solely based on finding a dead bug in my food. My husband ordered the veggie option and after opening the container and plated the food I immediately noticed the bug sitting on top. Thank goodness I did not get sick from eating from here. The owner was immediately willing to provide a refund. It was odd that they asked for us to bring the food back but whatever is their policy doesn't seem like they weren't at all concerned with a dead bug in our food. The cutest family owned place. The prices are so good for what you get. I love the chicken teriyaki with white rice, I ask for no veggies and they cook it fresh. There is so much food in the one order that I can usually only eat half of it, so it's really two meals in one. Even when I go in to order, they start the cooking immediately and I only have to wait for a few mins while they get it ready for me. Wow. Rarely am I let down by you, fellow Yelpers but I was with this place. About an hour ago, Husband brought home for lunch the chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, spider roll and 2 bubble teas for our son and I. Although online it said free soda or water with chicken teriyaki or orange chicken it was not offered. They did however give us free dumplings - out of everything we got, we thought that the free dumplings had the most flavor. A solid 3/5. Everything else? So bland. Now, the restaurant does give ALOT of food but after 1 roll and 3 bites of food, I was done. My son lasted a little longer with the beef teriyaki but he used the yum yum sauce they provided as a "dip" to try and get some kind of flavor profile. His Thai bubble tea tasted nothing like what we normally get at another local place. My Cappuccino bubble tea was ok tho. It was so much food given at the price they charge so if someone is looking for quantity over quality this may be the place for you. And while my tea and the free dumplings were ok, they weren't enough for us to want to go back. Food was 2.5 out of 5 but the service was fast and friendly so I rounded up for that. This place is great. It is not a super fancy sit down restaurant. But is is a made to order fairly quick place. They start cooking the second you order and everything comes out hot and fresh.
