    Fried spicy rice with rice.

I'm not a sushi eater, so I ordered the fried spicy pork with white rice. Was good but not what I was expecting. Thought it would be crunchy. For appetizers had steamed and fried dumplings. Was ok not the best. Others ordered sushi and said it was a little dry and the tuna was chewy. The texture was off. The rolls were small. Also had the mild Ramin and egg. Had very little flavor and did not expect a boiled egg cut in half. The service was good and friendly.

$18 of yum - Takeout sushi. I got the Philadelphia sushi roll & The Rose Gold sushi roll. I was very satisfied. The sushi prices are fair here. No dine in - only takeout.

Pretty solid sushi for the price. Usually my go to if I'm craving sushi for lunch. Been here twice, the regular rolls can be really dry, but the special rolls are usually pretty decent.

This was my first visit to Sushi California. The restaurant was very nice on the inside. Nicely lit on the inside. Plenty of tables. Music played in the background fr the 80's. It was a real cool vibe. The staff was very friendly! Service was quick and the food was delicious. I ordered the sushi, salad and Miso soup. The next time I'm in the Ft Campbell area, I will definitely come back.

Spicy crab roll (2 orders, right side), salmon roll (left side)

Conveniently located by Fort Campbell & other restaurants. Looks little on outside but neat and pleasant on the inside. Greeted immediately when I walked in and placed a takeout order of salmon roll& 2 spicy crab roll orders. Food was ready within 10 minutes. Delicious! Will return when back in the area!

Thank you fellow Yelpers for your good reviews of this place. Lured by the outstanding reviews, I finally tried this place today, and I was not disappointed. Unlike some of you who admitted that you weren't really into sushi, I am a big fan of sushi. I have eaten some great sushi in Japan, Korea, Hawaii, etc. Sushi California offers some very good sushi in my humble opinion though I have to admit here that I'm not a huge fan of rolled sushi with gobs of sauce over it. First of all, I really enjoyed the quality and freshness of food starting with miso soup. It was very good. I have been frequently disappointed with very weak tasting miso soup elsewhere, but what I had was very flavorful. It communicated well to me that folks here take a good care in preparing their food. When I received my sushi, they tasted very fresh and good as I expected they would be. Obviously, they will not prepare your sushi until it's ordered. There's no ready-made rolls like I have experienced in the past at some establishments. Since the food is very good quality, expect to pay more than you'd normally pay at some restaurants around here. Service was very courteous and attentive. My server was very charming and friendly. I appreciated that a lot. I spoke with the owner after I finished eating and thanked him for my nice lunch. He shared with me some of his life stories which I felt very special and honored since I'm a total stranger to him. I will go back and enjoy some more sushi here. Highly recommended!

Pretty good sushi and sashimi. I love to have fried rice along with it but I guess that's American. Prices are fair.

My only regret is I don't have a pocket full of extra money so I can eat here a lot more. The servers are always fabulous. My negative of eating in would be the music - I'm sure some like hearing the entire CD/album of Ariana or swifts fan playlist. I try to tune it out but after the second song by same artist ... I'm annoyed. Just play a variety of music, like from an XM station. Anyway. That is my only complaint with my favorite place.

I very much liked it. We ordered the fried pork wontons to share, but they were disgusting. Only the bottom was browned, the other two sides looked and had the consistency of steamed. The worst part was the meat inside tasted just like cheap breakfast sausage with a small amount of green onion. They were so bad that I told our server, Kristin, how bad they taste, what they taste like, and told her I couldn't eat them. She didn't offer an apology, or offer to take them off the check. She just said, "They are pork." But the correct thing to do in that situation is to remove it from the check. It wasn't eaten, minus the one I bit into and thought the meat tasted funky, so hubs ate a bite and had to spit it out because the meat tasted like it was old breakfast sausage. Kristin was very flippant, and didn't care a bit. We won't be back.

Parking is limited, but that's usually a good sign -- and Best Pho House proves it. I ordered Pho #13, loaded with lobster tail, crawfish, scallops, shrimp, and clams. Every spoonful was a treasure -- tender clams still in their shells, sweet scallops, and generous portions of lobster and shrimp. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles were perfectly soft. My only minor critique was the shrimp being a little overcooked, but everything else, especially the lobster and clams, was spot-on. The ambience is bright, clean, and welcoming, with a bold red-and-black color scheme, comfortable chairs, wood tables, a full bar for draft brews, and a separate sushi bar. Very well-kept and spotless throughout. Highly recommend if you're TDY nearby or just in the area -- a great hidden gem by the Cumberland River!

I came away with a sriracha, sesame oil, a small jar of kimchi and since I was hungry got a tray of gimbap and a pomegranate flavored aloe juice for twenty bucks and some change, not a bad haul. I wandered around a little bit and on top of the food items there's also a section of mostly Korean flatware and even clothing.
