I've been here twice and am really confused about the most recent ratings/reviews! One of my girlfriends and I stopped in on a Saturday between 6 and 6:30pm. I was worried they were going to be packed, but, much to my surprise, we walked in and were seated with menus right away. Our table/booth was extremely clean, and the atmosphere was great. The lighting was dim, making it a more intimate setting - perfect for a date night, if that's what you're looking for. It was also fairly family-friendly, though! We saw a couple of families at booths, especially with younger children or babies. Our waitress was very attentive and brought us drinks and our appetizer right away. We ordered gyoza, which was great! These were fried, and I think I've only ever gotten them steamed at various restaurants, so it was a nice change of pace! The sauce was good and, I think, had green onions and ginger in it. I can't speak on the sangria, as I did not have any because I'm pregnant, but my friend said her drink was strong and tasted great. It took us forever to decide on our sushi order, as their menu is fairly extensive, but we ended up sharing three rolls - the Crunch Munch, Volcano, and Big Mouth. I'm partial to spicy tuna, so the Big Mouth was my favorite, followed by the Crunch Munch, then the Volcano. Honestly, I would probably order all three again, but I'd love to come back to try something new. I can not speak for the rest of the food here, but the sushi hits the spot. OMG was I surprised...I have my preference of tempura rolls and they made it just the way I love it!!! It was absolutely delicious and the service to make sure I got what I wanted was amazing. The menu is sizable, with plenty of options ranging from classic favorites to more adventurous rolls. The food itself was tasty and well-presented. The only small downside was that the fish wasn't quite as fresh as I'd hope, it didn't have that vibrant, melt in your mouth quality you'd get if we were a little closer to the ocean. After voting today we drove down to Clarksville, Tennessee for sushi. I have to say Yellowtail did not disappoint. They were quite busy but the service was great. It seems a lot of servicemen and women eat there.. we have a 22 piece platter and it was not only fresh and tasty but was beautifully arranged. AMAZING!! If you've never been to one, check it out, but this specific one was awesome. The interior decor, the staff, service, menu, food, prices, everything was perfect. Today was this locations grand opening so they didn't have their liquor license .... yet. Should be in two weeks. Our waitress, Rachel, was extremely friendly, helpful with recommendations and timely checking in on us and with refills. We briefly spoke with the manager to request a channel change on one of the tvs and he did it right away. The food.... on man, the food was better than expected! Do as I say not as I do. We went about 20 minutes before lunch service closing and the servers were gracious enough to seat us and not rush. So unfair of us, but they passed and so did the food! I had the Chirashi with all kinds of hidden jewels. Who puts fresh octopus in the chirashi?...they do! Delicious. The fish tasted fresh the rice outstanding and the roe on top was a wonderful hidden surprise. Husband had the chicken udon. Couldn't get a picture because I was too busy eating to get a picture for posting. But suffice it to say it was also beautifully presented. We had a new server and it did not impede anything she was terrific although I didn't get her name. We ordered the beast roll & the derby roll. I always get the beast roll but this was my first time having the Derby roll. The scallops were so huge and the scorch and sear on the shrimp were to perfection. To top it all off we washed everything down with a large hot raspberry sake, they have many flavors but this flavor just pairs so well with everything! I stopped at this place on my last night in Oak Grove, KY. Really nice and clean place with a bar and plenty of seating. Their sushi/roll menu is quite large and has plenty of other option to choose from. I chose the coconut curry with rice and it was amazing! Pretty good size portion and it has chicken cutlets which is pretty rare in my opinion because most places don't offer chicken cutlets in their curries. It took me back to when I was Okinawa Japan, which had this really awesome curry spot, CoCo's Curry house. I haven't had anything close until I had this places curry. My husband says that isn't our order cause we marked it in pencil not pen she says it's her sheet she marked up from ours and she goes to the back again comes out apologizing profusely because she didn't take the time to flip our order sheet over to see the rest of our order needless to say we canceled what we didn't received we paid for our meal and left I personally will not be back to the Tiny Town location but the food is amazing so we will be sticking to the Wilma Rudolph one. read more

If you're a fan of the Yellowtail food, go to the original location on Wilma Rudolph. We've been to this one (Tiny Town) about four times since it opened. The service has always been not great, but tonight it was absolutely terrible. It was so bad, not only are we not going back but we're telling everyone we know to avoid this place. The good part: the food is delicious. Now, the horror story that was our experience tonight. Terrible table service. Our server never apologized for an incorrect order. I ordered the sashimi combo, which I usually get. When everyone else got their salad and soup, I didn't get mine. When I asked, the server replied, "the combo meals don't come with it." It's clearly on the menu. She came back a few minutes later with "we already made it. So no charge." Incidentally, it was still the wrong salad. After waiting 45 minutes, everyone in the family had their meals and were finished eating. My sashimi combo had not yet been delivered. The server admitted it was never actually put in by the staff. At this point, I asked her to remove it from the bill as everyone was done eating. She did. To recap: the server said I wasn't supposed to get a salad/ soup with a meal she forgot to put into for preparation. To this point, not one "I'm sorry...let me make this right by ... for you." The bill came and it had a 18% group fee on it. I understand the group fees; we were a family of seven people. Of course, three of those people are ten years old and under. All three of the kids shared a meal. In addition, one of the appetizers got doubled by the server. We talked to the manager. We explained one meal never got prepared or served; an appetizer got doubled; the server rarely came to the table; the server never apologized or offered to make it right. We asked to reduce the group fee because of the poor service. His response: the bill reflects a group charge and no one can change it. There was never a "sorry for your experience; we can make it right for you by... ." Nothing. This is the exact opposite experience than we've experienced at the Wilma Rudolph location. The Tiny Town location hasn't figured out that in the restaurant business, good customer service directly leads to increased revenue. Don't give this place your revenue. read more

So how do I start this....smh. I'd give no stars if it was a option. First off , don't advertise ramen and have 3 choices... I had the pork broth ramen and the broth taste like the noodle water. Absolutely NO flavor at all.... Second off, staff didn't know anything about ramen. The big sign says ramen and their menu only had a couple options different that the other restaurant...like why? My dogs wouldn't eat the left overs and they lick butthole.... so horrible. Reason 3, it made me have a upset tummy , and honestly kinda ruins ramen for me. After reading some of the reviews on the ramen, I have to say most were wrong or the naysayers simply caught them on a bad day after recently opening. The ramen was flavorful and fulfilling. The sushi, Heaven, Red and White and Beauty and Beast rolls were all good. Not the best in town, but good. The wife's Drunken Noodles were tasty but could have used a bit more Bulgogi. My wife and I been here before & enjoy the food/ service . We sat at the bar and was helped immediately. The place looks great, the food is good but tonight was bad for us. We ordered salmon rolls (Philadelphia) , yellowtail jalapeño & tako sashimi. After finishing our food we instantly felt sick, ran to the bathroom and threw up. We're from Hawaii and eat raw fish all the time. We knew that it had to be the fish (hamachi or salmon). I had to inform the bartender of what happened but I didn't want to seem like I'm trying to get off from paying. He referred us to the manager & I told her what happened. She apologized & went to check with the chefs. The service was great but disappointed at the situation. We just paid for the food and left.
