The entire dish is completely different than advertised to the point that this restaurant is obviously using fake photos to advertise their food. Used to be a family favorite but tonight was very disappointing. Kids chicken nuggets and fries come to the table 10 minutes after everyone's meal. The veggies that came with both meals were raw! Onions, carrots were so hard you couldn't put a fork through them. There were no carbonated drinks available, the machine was broke. The water,tea, and lemonade were warm after a few minutes because the ice melted due to the ac not working. We don't blame the waitress but management should get there act together. read more

Unfortunately, this time around their Velcro Pygmies Roll was not topped off the way it should have been - that looks like straight up ranch with no jalapenos. Tried it with a friend and was not impressed with how they tried to fuse good sushi technique with lazy attempts. Not worth the price or taste. Edit: Low and behold, saw an article on clarksvillenow in which the general manager states "It's (sushi) always been ethnic, and some people steer away from that, and maybe scared of it. I think we've Americanized it. I think the company has brought it into the mainstream and we've infused that with Rock & Roll, so it's a win-win." What in the world does that even mean? Sushi is very much so known for being Japanese and ive never heard anyone state they didnt it because it was ethnic food. We went on Wednesday night this week and Im not sure if it wasn't a busy that day or if it was usually not busy but that part felt off. The food was very gross. The miso soup was alright. But the sushi me and my husband got was baaaad. We got a simple Philadelphia roll. The cream cheese was gritty. Cream cheese is not supposed to be gritty. And my husband got a ramen bowl too. The noodles when you chewed them were chalky/undercooked. And it was 20$! Outrageous for off putting ramen. And I got a hibachi filet mignon steak with "fried rice" and vegetables. The steak was covered in this weird sweet sauce. Not a good sweet. And the rice was mushy and oily. Idk man, the food was really gross. But the service was good. Best part of the night we paid 82$ for our food. Definitely don't recommend. read more

Been wanting to try this place but haven't had a chance to until recently. My husband and I love sushi - have probably tried every place in town by now. Rock and Roll sushi is like Tex Mex is to Mexican food; good but lacking in authentic taste. I give them three stars - one for restaurant aesthetics, ease of ordering, and pleasantness of the waiter, another star for speed of food delivery and presentation, and a final star for price which seems to be in line with what you get. I tried to use my city savor coupon for a BOGO because I have never been to rock n roll sushi. It wasn't a buy one get one like the coupon stated, so I felt like it was false advertising. The server was amazing that's the only reason I gave an extra star. He was great. I drove all the way from the other side of town so I wasn't going to leave because of the coupon. My husband and I started eating the two rolls we ordered and I had a hair wrapped up in my spicy crawfish that I placed in my mouth soon as it hit my lips I felt it. My hair was up in a bun I knew it wasn't mine and it was wrapped up in the crawfish. We didn't eat any more but was still charged for one roll that we didn't finish because of the hair. Our meal should have been comp completely because we didn't even want to finish it. I did not like my experience and will not be back first impression always matter. We will never be back here. Food was not that great but customer service was even worse and managements handling was completely absent. I ordered a sushi appetizer and two rolls, my wife ordered an appetizer and hibachi and we got a kids hibachi for my son. They were both finished eating before I even got my appetizer. No communication as to why it was taking so long to bring out uncooked food. It was 45 minutes before I got my appetizer, mind you there were three other tables occupied. I then went to the counter and told the waitress to just cancel my rolls, she said "they are already ready". It was another 10 minutes before they arrived at the table and I just told her to box it up. My wife never got her soup and was never offered a refill of her empty soda but the waitress came to ask if I wanted another beer before I ever got food. Management never came by, she was sitting at the bar the whole time. Nothing was done to remedy the situation. My wife went to talk to the manager on the way out and told her calmly about our experience, the manager never came from behind the sushi counter and brushed off the concerns. All we wanted was communication and that could have made this experience much better but management didn't seem receptive. read more
