Now they did unintentionally fix the door without realizing so I saved myself $1400, but They have TERRIBLE customer service especially for a customer service buisness I'm so very disappointed.

We brought our 2012 Acura TL with a bad fuel pump (trash in fuel) in Aug 2023. Auto Care USA…read morereplaced with aftermarket Delphi pump (100% markup by the way) that failed immediately after we drove off with fuel gage error. A known issue for Delphi fuel pumps we found out later from others. Also, the radio instrument panel did not work afterwards. To their credit they replaced the pump and somehow got the panel back on, but with another Delphi fuel pump. Later (earlier this year) we found out during an emissions alarm diagnosis (at a different shop specializing in Acura repairs) that the fuel pump had failed again (cracked and leaking). We chose to go with a genuine Acura fuel pump replacement and during removal discovered that the Delphi fuel pump was incorrectly installed by Auto Care USA as it was missing a key gasket resulting in the pump cracking and leaking. We told Tom at Auto Care. He requested an invoice from the repair shop and we offered to bring him old part. Tom did not dispute the failure and oddly did not want to see the old part. Since we had not heard from him, we asked for an update and he just said you should have brought it back to us. No refund. Now why would I have brought it back to Auto Care as they would have given me another Delphi to fail AND would they have missed the key gasket again? Do the right thing and refund us our invoice for the original repair. We will leave the cost of the emissions diagnosis out. Simply admit you made a mistake, which was an error and omission, not a defective part; and don't use 'part warranty' as a reason not to pay us. And in the future don't use cheap highly marked up aftermarket parts for critical components like fuel pumps. Their website says....Superior customer service, honest advice and fair prices, as well as performing high quality work are of the greatest importance to us. Not in our case.

After using another local area family owned mechanic shop for the last 5 years, they began to take…read moreadvantage of me, so I decided to take my son's car to Parkway Chevrolet, but they said they no longer had the computer system or software to work on my son's car. Beck & Masten GMC also gave me the same answer when I tried to give them my business. I then received a mailer for First Tire & Automotive as being a new business in my area, and gave them a call. The gentleman I spoke with said he was positive they could fix our issue that was causing a check engine light to come on, and to bring the car in for diagnostics and testing. We left my son's car for testing and was then contacted with the results. A technician at First Tire & Automotive stated the issue was a Turbocharger Pressure Sensor, and would run $300.00 for the new part. The charge for diagnostics and testing was $199.00 and they recommended that we have the coolant system flushed and the brake fluid system flushed, at a cost of $200.00 a piece for each service. I agreed to all charges and we picked up my son's car a day later. I drove the car for the next 2 days as First Tire & Automotive advised to put 100 miles on it. At 116 miles the check engine light returned, so I took the car back to First Tire & Automotive. They kept the car for a day and then called to tell me there are 3 main engine sensors on my son's car, and they cleaned the other 2 sensors with some kind of MAP Sensor cleaner and it was running fine with no check engine light on anymore. So we picked up the car and they once again advised driving it for 100 miles to make sure everything was fine. I drove the car for the next 2 days, and the check engine light came back on at 156 miles. So I returned my son's car to First Tire & Automotive again, and let them know it still wasn't fixed. After a few days they called me to recommend the replacement of the Barometric Pressure Sensor at a cost of $350.00 to which I agreed. Once the job was complete I picked up the car and drove it over the weekend, and the check engine light came back. On Monday morning I took my son's car back to First Tire & Automotive and explained the car still wasn't fixed, after spending almost $1,200.00 so far. I was then told by a technician that most likely the final sensor of the 3, a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor would need to be replaced, at a cost of $350.00 but they would need to do diagnostics and testing again, which would run me $199.00 again, even though they had already done the diagnostics and testing, and charged me for $199.00 for it, and the original problem still wasn't corrected. I'm out of money at this point and really don't know what to do, so I left with my son's car, check engine light still on, and it's still not repaired after all the money I've already spent. It's really sad because we own 4 vehicles between my wife, myself, and my 2 sons, and we would have given First Tire & Automotive a lot of business over the upcoming years; had they not made me feel like I'm getting the run around, and not following through with any type of warranty or guarantee on the work I paid them for. In summary, don't take your vehicles here for repair or service, unless you want to be ripped off and sold down the river.
