But it eventually came in. And the test drive process was a breeze, again in and out in less than 20. The gal hated the car (Genesis gv70 Electrified). Too cramped, but very pretty. So we passed, but the staff and service was easy and non-invasive Definitely recommend if you're looking. No negotiation, but no hassle either.

Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

First, I checked online with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles, and the vehicle was not showing in my name. Second, I went in person and was told it still was not registered to me. I repeatedly called Texas IZI Auto LLC and was promised new dates each time: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Monday. None of those promises were kept. No one from Texas IZI Auto LLC ever proactively contacted me or kept me informed. The only reason I finally received my registration was because I continued calling and following up. When I raised concerns about over six weeks of delays and poor communication, the owner of Texas IZI Auto LLC dismissed my concerns and did not offer a clear explanation or remedy. Instead, he defended his employee's behavior rather than addressing the repeated delays and lack of communication. Bottom line: DON'T BUY FROM TEXAS IZI AUTO LLC. Save your time and your money.

But the "lenders", per DDM, were having difficulty approving both car loans. The other dealer who we purchased from never mentioned this. DDM wanted us to bring the car back 2 days after we dove it home, or else they'd have it repossessed and we would not get our $4000 cash down payment. My husband decided to pay the full amount in cash to the other dealership for their car he got from them, instead of finance. That way the financing with DDM could/should be approved. Later on we found out he was approved for both cars. When the plates came in via UPS, the envelope was missing the registration sticker. My husband called and spoke to Maria, who proceeded to say "Oh our title person would never do that." The worse part was the defensiveness and the bad attitude. She hung up in my husbands face after saying "I'll tell someone" without taking his name! So we drove 40 minutes from NW Houston, where we live, to go see if we would get better assistance face to face. They gave me a print out or photocopy of the registration receipt and went on to make excuses about the missing sticker. Saying "We wouldn't know where to send it without the paper attached" "We put it in the envelope the way it comes to us". I explained the envelope didn't even include a rubber band lol. Not registration receipt or sticker. He didn't care. The gentleman who never gave me his name was only on the defense and I left feeling like my business was not appreciated and valued. Question DDM: So how did you get a photocopy of the receipt without taking the registration paper off the license plates? Is there a chance you were careless and forgot to reattach it to the plates? And why not satisfy the customer by acknowledging the mistake and offer to pay the $50+ for the sticker replacement. The owner/manager didn't even acknowledge my presence. And yes I yelled and raised my voice because I didn't want to hear that you would never mail plates without a registration sticker because it's "rubber banded together". That's insulting my intelligence and insinuating that the mistake was mine and I'm a liar. Do not purchase a car here if you would not want the feeling of working with shady business people.
