We did experience some slight miscommunication between the 2 office guys but overall nothing detrimental to the project. The drywall and stucco repair was FANTASTIC - the city inspector was very impressed.

Our home inspector had recommended Electric Brothers to us. They were very easy to communicate with. This was my first time working with a contractor at this scope. Thankfully the team was professional and accommodating to our questions throughout the whole process. I had a huge list of work I wanted done on the house and the crew were understanding and offered financially flexible options for the work. Early on we had an unrelated permitting issue on the house and Electric Brothers was patient and helped us come up with solutions on how to continue the work on the electrical permit without affecting the other permit. From the get go Kamea and Isaac came out to do a walkthrough of our home to decide what the scope of work would be. At this point we weren't certain of how we were planning on remodeling the house but Kamea and Isaac offered flexible solutions. They were able to get the permit and started on the work quite quickly. Jose, Jonathan and the rest of the crew got to work removing the panel and old outlets and switches. I had requested some change orders later on and Eric and David were able to accommodate quickly. After all the work was complete, Antonio and Marcos patched all the holes inside and out. The patch work even impressed our inspector and the electric company that stopped by to adjust our power lines. The whole team was great and was willing to offer a ton of great house advice in general. Scope of Work The scope of the work included a panel upgrade, moving the panel and adding grounding to the house. We had also extended our powerline above the roof of the house to give our backyard some more vertical space. For the full house rewire, we had replaced all the existing wire with new wiring and relocated many of the outlets and switches. Kamea and Isaac worked closely with us to position the outlets and switches exactly where we wanted them. This included outlets inside and outside. Throughout the process we did have many specific requests but the team was able to pivot quickly without hesitation. Of course this did cause some slight miscommunication in the office but nothing detrimental to the project. In addition to the rewire work we also wanted to set up the electrical for our future remodeling plans. Jose made sure the circuits in the kitchen would be appropriate for the new appliances we had ordered. We updated some of our exterior lights as well and added additional lighting in one of our bathrooms. Both bathrooms were updated with new Panasonic vent fans. I also requested the wiring to be set up for an electric car charger for the future. Summary All in all a great experience! We'd definitely work together again in the future. My best suggestion to other new homeowners for a project of this scale is to align on the specific project goals before the starting walkthrough. Apologies, if I misremembered or misspelled any of the team member's names.

He found that the breaker itself was not damaged, restored the power, and showed me that the circuit was being overloaded by several high-draw kitchen appliances. He was very patient and respectful while explaining that the issue involved both a tripped GFCI outlet and incorrect breaker labeling, without ever making me feel embarrassed. He also tested the circuit, identified the high amperage demand, and recommended a practical long-term solution involving a separate dedicated circuit rather than immediately pushing a major repair. Francisco was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I appreciated that what initially felt like a catastrophe turned out to be a manageable troubleshooting issue. I felt that he was honest with me, and I would definitely trust Saiyan Electric for future electrical work.

DECEPTIVE, GREEDY, CROOKED, LIE, AND INEXPERIENCED…read more I hired Saiyan Electric in July 2026 to upgrade my home's electrical panel from 100 amp to 200 amp and install an EV charging outlet through SCE's Charge Ready Program, which included a $4,200 rebate. The signed estimate (#4599) came to $6,800 -- $2,600 out of pocket after the rebate. I paid a $260 down payment at signing. The inexperienced estimator who assessed the job never flagged that my panel and meter are located inside an enclosed patio, which later became a major issue. The only thing he was good at was pushing me to sign, insisting it was the best deal I'd ever get. I signed -- and later realized it was a disaster. After signing, I heard nothing from Saiyan until I reached out myself two weeks later. Their office then started the SCE application. SCE's field team visited and said the panel needs to be relocated because it's located in an enclosed patio, with trenching required due to underground service. Saiyan's manager, David Ortega, initially told me over the phone that relocating the panel and meter would cost $28,000 because of the trenching. There's no way I could afford $28,000 to continue with this project, so I insisted that the project be stopped due to the unexpected that neither both sides were expected. I suggested that Saiyan keep my initial deposit of $260. However, he insisted that since I had already signed the contract, I couldn't back out -- claiming the estimate only allowed three days to cancel. Mr. Ortega then came to my home and presented two options: 1. Pay $2,600 to cancel the contract. He claimed that work had already begun and that they had paid for meter spotting, materials, and city permits. I contacted SCE directly, and they confirmed there is no fee for meter spotting. I also checked my city's permit portal for my address and found no permits on file. This is the greedy side of Saiyan. They want to get more money from their customer for not having completed any single work, so crooked... 2. Pay an additional discounted price of $23,000 to complete the relocation. This is deceptive. According to their agreement, if a relocation from SCE is required, it will cost $2,500, not $23,000. This is a total lie. I am currently disputing this in writing and working with legal counsel to file complaints with the CSLB and the BBB.

What impressed me most was that, after learning the circuits would be used for air conditioners, he recommended that I first look into repairing or replacing the central AC instead--even though Central AC repair and replacement are not services he offers. That showed a great deal of integrity and genuine concern for what would make the most sense for me, rather than simply trying to make a sale. Although I have not had any work completed yet, I was very impressed with the service and honesty I received. If I decide to move forward with the dedicated circuits, I will definitely be using Primo Electric and plan to contact them for any future electrical work I may need.
