He even advised me to keep the old parts for at least one year since they are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, something I truly appreciated. My G.E. washer was working fine, but I noticed a puddle of water on floor every time I used it, so…read moreI called in a service claim with Lowes. I selected Christo Appliances (the contractor) since they are local. Their tech came out to do a simple diagnostic. My washer was leaking water (either from door seal or from detergent tray). He opened up the control panel to see if any electric component was getting wet. It was dry. Tech told me it seemed like it was coming from the detergent tray (I later saw it come out of the door's seal). He told me to call another company to confirm his diagnostic (WHY??) that they had to close the claim but once I got another company to confirm his diagnostic, he would come back. That sounds so wrong. That's not how claims should be handled. If I call another company, then that new company will probably fix it (unlike Cristo). I used my Washer that day the tech checked my washer. Well, it's not working properly anymore. The washer stopped in the middle of the cycle, and the door wont open. it's stuck! Today is Friday. I have been calling them since Wednesday and they haven't returned my call. I'm very upset and will not be using them in the future. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I should have read their reviews before I gave them my business. They have lots of bad reviews.
