Amy's is famous for their bolo buns and breakfast sandwiches! They get really busy on the weekends so expect to wait 45-60 minutes during peak breakfast/lunch hours. They close online ordering when they're really busy. One of my friends refreshed their online ordering around 11am and saw they were allowing online orders, but by the time the 6th friend tried, it had closed back up. I placed my order for one sandwich at 11:05am and the expected pick up time was 12:12. I ordered their hash-it-out, added sausage, and subbed the spicy aioli for their maple one. The bolo bun has a subtle sweetness to it, so it felt like I was eating a healthier, higher-end McGriddle. Everything was perfect. I've been twice so far. I work nearby so it's a convenient spot for lunch. I highly recommend placing your order online in advance if you can. The first time I didn't and just showed up to a line and had to wait about 20 minutes if I remember correctly for my breakfast burrito (after waiting in line to place my order). The second time I ordered in advance and tried the Sunday Sandwich. Both were delicious options I would happily get again. There are several other sandwiches I look forward to trying too. The seating inside is limited. When the weather is nice they also have small tables outside but those can also fill up quickly. read more

Maybe my expectations were a little high going in. After all, I've heard so many great things. Don't get me wrong, it's good! Potentially a little over hyped though. First, a warning. Do not wait inside for your food unless you want to smell like a deep fryer. The smoke from the kitchen grill permeates the whole place and you will leave smelling like you got off a 8 hour line cook shift. This place is pretty inexpensive. Seeing that I should have known better, but boy this was a sandwich for ants. Don't expect to come here and get full unless you get at least 2 of these if you have any kind of appetite. The bolo was nice. Soft, could have been a little more toasted IMO, but what was going on inside was better: pickled onion, cheese, egg, avocado and hot sauce. Texturally it was good (crisper bolo would have been a nice break from all the soft), the spinach helps a little with that, lending some crisp. Flavor was on point, the acidic and tart bite was really nice and very familiar for me because I lean into these flavors with my home cooking. Just know what you're getting when you come here. It's a simple breakfast sandwich shop and if you have those expectations, you'll love it. If you love cheffing up breakfast sandwiches at home, I'd probably pass. read more

The best breakfast/brunch spot in the area! It was my first time checking out Amy's Place and everything I got was above and beyond my expectations. They stop their food menu around 1pm on Saturdays and I made it just in the neck of time. The staff was patient and was happy to take my order, I got there just 3 mins before they stopped their food menu and put my order in right away and they were very accommodating. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. I also got the Amy's burger and it has a nice kick to it. You can also add in a side of fries. The chai latte was amazinnnngggg! My friend and I came here on a weekend to grab, what we thought would be a "quick bite," but it ended up being a 25 ish minute wait. They were transparent about the wait - there was a sign and they told us before placing our order. The inside is small, but despite that, they are able to seat about 8-10 people between the high tables and the high chairs facing the windows. The menu is well organized and offers breakfast and brunch type foods - breakfast burritos and tacos, sandwiches, burgers, and the typical breakfast - eggs, bacon, potatoes. I was hungry and wanted something filling, so I decided to go with their burger. I was originally intending on getting Amy's burger, but I wanted cheddar instead, so I built my own burger. My friend had a sausage egg and cheese, with a latte. We waited inside, and then took the food to the car after. The burger was tasty, and still pretty juicy. The toppings were fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted. The bun was soft on the outside, but crispy on the inside. I loved the sauce, I wish there was more of it for additional flavor. You could ask for a double patty but I am glad I stuck with one; It was thick enough and allowed the rest of the flavors to be present. For $7, it was a good burger. read more

The Hash It Out breakfast sandwich blew my mind. Amy's has an open, packed, busy kitchen, and I genuinely couldn't stop myself from peering over the counter expecting to see Gordon Ramsay tucked away in a corner somewhere. It was delicious from the first bite, but honestly, that's not even what has kept this sandwich running through my mind. It was the construction. This thing was expertly put together. We're talking every. single. bite. The bacon was cooked to perfection. Every morsel. Anyone who eats enough breakfast sandwiches knows how rarely that actually happens. The aioli was incredible, but more importantly, perfectly distributed. No bite had too much. No bite was lacking. The hash brown somehow seemed woven into every nook and cranny, giving each bite the perfect amount of crunch without ever overpowering the rest of the sandwich. Even the bolo was delicious. Very disappointing experience. I arrived around 8:00 AM for breakfast and was waiting for two other people to join me. Since the chairs were tied to the tables, I politely asked if they could make room for us by allowing me to use two additional chairs. Instead of trying to help, I was told they were "closing early." That was confusing because it was only 8:00 AM and their posted hours say they close much later. When I asked what "closing early" meant, I was simply told that the chairs could not be moved. What bothered me the most wasn't the policy--it was the attitude. The staff came across as dismissive and unwelcoming. At one point, one employee even made a hand gesture as if to say, "forget it," which made me feel like my business didn't matter. I completely understand that every restaurant has its own rules, but customer service is about how those rules are communicated. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way. I visited Amy's Place this past weekend to grab breakfast with a friend! On a Saturday morning, this place was PACKED out the door. Customers zooming in and out to pick up their orders and sitting all around the tables of the small location. It was about a 30 minute wait after we ordered so it's good to stop and shop by the local businesses in the area. We split the Hash It Out with bacon and The Hangover. Each sandwich has ingredients which compliment each other. Super delicious. Those sandwiches + the smoothies we had made me super full and satisfied. Make sure to add hot sauce for that extra kick! Great food but here is my concern. They've been open for years and still can't figure out a process to make the wait shorter for breakfast foods. I'm willing to wait 40 min when it's busy but the issue is- do they want customers to stand for 40 min waiting for names to be called? A text option would be great. Went here on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. They close at 2pm and I wasn't aware of that. A friend recommended this place so I was excited to try it. Immediately upon entering I was greeted with "the kitchen is closed, we're only selling coffee and tea". Not the best first impression, felt like I was a bother even stepping into the place. I go up to the counter to order, all the employees in the back see me and don't acknowledge me for a good minute or two. And it wasn't like they were busy or anything, they were just walking around in the back or talking to each other. Someone finally comes up to the counter to take my order- I order an iced coffee but they only had oat and whole milk. I'm not a fan of either of those milks so I didn't get anything. My mother got an iced dirty chai with whole milk for $5.65. It didn't even taste like chai and was as if they forgot to put the spices in the drink. There was a hint of cinnamon, but overall it just tasted like a plain iced coffee. It's not like it was bad because we finished the drink, but it definitely wasn't chai and I definitely wouldn't order again. I wouldn't recommend the coffee, and I can't say anything for the food. However, I wouldn't recommend this place anyway because of the atmosphere and lack of customer service. read more

Given how tasty the smoothie was, I regret not ordering some food to accompany it. With the perfectly crispy fries and the mango mania smooth, I was satiated. I really like how the burger had sweet and savory flavors instead of it being just salty the hash brown and runny egg inside made it the ultimate breakfast burger. Due to limited space please wait to retreive your order until you receive a text confirmation that your order is complete. The pickup time on the order receipt and the time I got the text that my order is ready for pick up matched! I walked in and I spotted the brown bag with my name on it. I informed the cashier I was here to pick up my order and she passed the bag to me. The vermonster was delicious. It was cheesy, sweet, and very filling. I enjoyed it a lot. We scored a table inside, away from the beating sun, and decided to stay despite the wait. The space is small with a handful of tables and a long counter, although there are quite a few tables outside. I ordered the banana pancakes, breakfast burrito, house burger, iced chai and tropical smoothie. The drinks were both delicious, I especially loved the iced chai. The burger was good, as were the pancakes. However, the breakfast burrito was nothing to write home about. It was just average and I definitely won't order it again.
