However, I've…read morehad a problem with a female there as well as a newer employee there and have decided that I will drive a longer distance, unfortunately for me, to another UPS store so that I don't have to deal with these two people. With the female, I brought something in to return and everything got scanned, but then she told me that she un-did one of the scans and to bring it back in a few days to return it (?). I did that, and it showed that it had already been scanned previously (which means that she didn't un-scan it as she said she did). Instead of apologizing, she said curtly, you're going to have to call the company and have them send you another scan code. This was a burden to me that shouldn't have happened. I think if she would have apologized for her error, I wouldn't have had any problem at all, but people are so rude these days and unaccountable, I was very disappointed. The newer guy there, I'm sure he's a nice guy, but I think he's on some kind of speed drugs or something. He moves very fast, twiches and non-stop talking very fast. The first experience with him I asked if he would slow down in his speech because I was feeling nervous with the non-stop talking. He apologized again and again . . . and again and then continued to talk super fast. I told him that I couldn't understand what he was saying - my brain doesnt' work that fast. He just couldn't slow down and it left me feeling very nervous. The next time I was in and he was working, and when I wasn't responding to his constant talking, talking, talking and more non-sensical talking, he seemed to take offense. Having been a professional executive for my career, and knowing how to listen to people and respect their boundaries, I felt extremely uncomfortable with this guy as he had zero respect for mine. I need calm in my life and his haphazard continual talking, and talking so fast I can't understand what he's saying, was just the last straw. I don't believe it's in UPS's best interest to have him working with the public. Maybe stick him in the back to do work back there. He's also super slow at his work even though he's twitching and moving frantically. It's a pretty scary experience there for me. Last think I need, and probably others as well. Anyways, I won't be going there again, even though it's a super convenient location for me. I will drive 5 miles (instead of less than 1 mile) to go somewhere where they are more professional. There is an awesome young man there named Daniel who went above and beyond to help me. I have a lot on my plate right now so I really needed some help with editing and so on to get them printed he did an amazing job. He was extremely patient with me. Very kind, very knowledgeable and very attentive to detail. I'll be doing an awful lot of printing for this even after the barbecue because this is an ongoing thing fighting for these kids that are being sexually trafficked. I choose the store for my needed materials to be printed. He needs a raise I tell you what he rocked and I cannot say enough good things about him. Can I say he needs a raise?. The only thing I wasn't really happy about is the owner making me pay an extra $5 for the help. I was a little taken back by that but what can you do? I am really happy that Daniel also posted up the fire letting the public know about the barbecue fundraiser on August 29th at the SLO GRANGE HALL. It's an extremely busy store and I was grateful that I have the ability to post it there so it helps get the word out. Today I went in again to get more copies and there was a young lady there with Daniel and her name was Savannah. She too was absolutely precious, helpful, so willing to learn as Daniel was teaching her how to work certain programs ECT. Both of them are just priceless. Did I say they needed a raise?
