Gun Hill arrived on time, did the job in a professional, solid manner, cleaned the site (part of our quote but 'clean' doesn't mean the same thing to everyone...) and were on their way. The installation crew was professional and considerate. They had to walk through our home to access the backyard; we put down paper to protect the floor and moved some furniture and they hauled in all their tools and machinery and hauled out old chain link fencing and scrap, and not a ding in sight. I had a terrible problem with tree roots and it lifted the concrete on my driveway and sidewalk. The most impressive promise they kept on their contract was the thickness of the concrete. I felt that in some areas of the driveway, they poured more than 6 inches of concrete and corrected even our curb area of the driveway. Being a 1st time home buyer i was inexperienced to getting quotes from different contractors. Ruben came and told me that the fences were going to be straight. Understanding that straight did not mean level i explained that I wanted the fences to be level. He told me what I wanted to hear and proceeded to install the fences the way he wanted. After the installation I explained that he did not do what I asked and he just kept telling me that there was nothing else he could do. We are currently installing pavers in the back yard and I have two very uneven stretches of fence in my back yard and it looks like a terrible HACK AMATEUR JOB! The guy is wildly unprofessional and says one thing and does another. Please for the love of GOD do not use JR fencing. He's a vampire who does not care about his product.
