Their pricing was fair, and they offered many appealing options for what I wanted to do. Despite how backed up with work they had due to island wide damage from this last storm, they were also very accommodating with scheduling given my concerns about the needs to have the fence replaced before the remains of my old fence caused damage if another storm hits. From beginning to end, my experience with Supreme Fencing has been exemplary. Erika kept me up to date and answered every question I had immediately, with cheer and enthusiasm. She's a great asset to Supreme Fencing and contributed greatly to my fantastic experience hiring them. The work crew arrived on schedule and worked HARD through a very hot and humid two days to demolish my old fence and put up a new vinyl fence and gate. Their foreman and crew were very friendly and despite the conditions worked nonstop and sounded like they had fun doing it. They were perfectionists in how they tackled the project, filling me in each step on what they had planned to do and how they planned to do it, and made sure everything was done with my needs in mind, and a flawless end result as the goal. When everything was up I watched as they went over everything with a fine tooth comb and wiped it all down and made sure that not a piece was out of place and everything looked perfect. They were also very mindful of cleaning up the work site every day. I'm extremely happy with the end result and can firmly say I made the right decision to hire Supreme Fencing, and I expect that anyone who reads this review will have the same experience I did.

He waited patiently while I collected other quotes and discussed with my husband. We went with George because of his excellent communication, he showed us plans/what to expect, and is honest. George and his assistant Saul did an terrific job on our railing project. They showed up on time, on the day they said they were going to be at our house, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the result! It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. Absolutely amazing work. Father and daughter team work together as the father (the worker) speaks very little English. She translates for him and if she is not on the job site, she is only a phone call or text away. She answers immediately. (Incidentally, I didn't have to use this option except when it was time to pay; I didn't want him to leave before I paid him.). And the father is the hardest worker I have ever seen. After a two-week search, I selected Menora Masonry from four bids for my December 2024 retaining wall and drainage project. Suli, the owner, ran the mini excavator and ensured efficient teamwork during excavator operations Sione was pure strength. He did a lot of the excavating and put up new posts and gates. A lot was accomplished because he had a good work ethic and was trustworthy in every way. Younger Sione, Suli's nephew, executed precise bricklaying while others managed cement mixing. He rebuilt the failing wall sections and also a leaning column with great precision. Task on December 11, 2024: To replace the weak sections of my retaining wall that held the terraced front area of my property. Then run 80 feet of perforated PVC pipe underground along it to relieve the pressure of excess water into an adjoining swale easement. In addition, water in my back garden area, weathered by mauka wind and rain, would pool and seep beneath the slab of my house. Menora jackhammered part of the old walkway and created slope for the water to empty into the same swale easement and away from the foundation. They also built a raised cement barrier along the house. Communication: An area of improvement could have been reviewing our understanding of the planned work in intervals. While communication could improve with mid-project checkpoints (especially during garden water mitigation), post-work cleanup with Suli's son, Suli Jr., revealed excellent attention to detail. The January 2025 storm validated their work - both wall stability and drainage performed flawlessly under heavy wind and rain. I had complete peace of mind for my neighbors below that the wall would hold and not cause damage; and that the garden-side rain would not pool towards the house. Nick arrived exactly at the appointed time, took a quick look (and listen) at my door and diagnosed the problem in a minute or two. Then, since the problem was a seal on the door, asked me if I simply wanted him to remove the seal to stop the sound, and gave me the pros and cons of doing so. I said yes and he removed the seal and put things back together. He gave me some tips on what to use to lubricate the door, as well as--if I ever wanted to replace the door--what I should look for and how to save money. Nick was knowledgeable, personable and effective in solving my problem. I highly recommend Oahu Windows and Doors.

My apartment had recently suffered multiple unidentified leaks this past year that has been a…read morenightmare to navigate. I first messaged Mike and other candidates in 2025 when I was gathering quotes for an insurance claim that ultimately got denied. It was very clear that Mike and the team have great workmanship from the photos - this is coming from someone who's seen great drywall work and extremely poor work that I could do better myself. I could tell right off the bat that these were the guys I wanted to work with. The proof was in the "mudding" as I changed scope to account for materials, budget, level 4-5 finish, and paint finish quality. Having to pay out of pocket for an expense I anticipated someone else to cover was a bit of a concern for my wallet. Mike was patient with me and we worked out a price we could agree on by removing items from the scope that might still been in good condition and limiting the amount of work that needed to be done on a bump-out wall next to my shower. John texted me soon after we agreed to move forward and scheduled the work for the following week. He also suggested a change in material (DensShield) from what I had originally requested (blueboard) and I am so grateful to have skilled/experienced teammates to work with that really know what they're doing. Day 1 was demolition, hanging, and mudding. John was finished and out before lunch and I could already tell that the quality of work was spectacular. You couldn't even tell the ceiling was repaired because it was blended in perfectly with the surrounding area. The bump-out wall was looking way better than it was even prior to the water damage. We left the fan on throughout the day and overnight to let the hot mud dry out. Day 2 was sanding, priming, and painting. Fortunately, I purchased and stored paint that was specific to my bathroom from a previous repair and had it at the ready this time around as well. Honestly, when I first discovered the leak, I originally planned to fix it myself so I also had a brand new container of primer. I'm pretty satisfied with the work, especially with the DensShield suggestion and installation in both affected areas to account for future leaks. I didn't know such product existed and the workmanship mudding a material such as DensShield and it essentially coming out nearly flawless is pretty impressive. Overall, I would give Mike's team a solid 9/10. Prompt responses, flexibility in materials/scope, and great quality of work. The quote, as some have mentioned is on the higher side compared to other candidates I'd spoken with, but I learned the last time that you get what you pay for. Could I have gotten it cheaper? 100%. Would it have come out as good? Not sure. The last guy I hired at maybe half the price got the job done, but clearly not done well and that's what got me in this predicament, SO... don't cheap out if you can help it - especially for a bathroom or high-moisture/high-risk area. I'm certain I'll be working with Mike and the team in the future and there are no regrets here as compared to my last drywall adventure. Thank you Mike & John for your patience and hard work.

We chose Mike's Fencing to replace aging wood privacy fencing and several gates around our Kailua home. We couldn't be happier with the results. The first company we called did not even want to stop by to give us an estimate. Instead, they pulled up Google Earth and viewed the property online and had me make some measurements to give them over the phone. Then they gave me a rough estimate for the cost of wood and vinyl fencing. We really wanted vinyl since it is more durable and requires less maintenance. However, they told me that since we currently had brick pillars spaced roughly 15 feet apart, it would cost us a lot more. Apparently, they could only get their vinyl fencing in pre-made sections (I think it was 6 ft sections?) and they would have to waste large portions in order to accommodate the pillars. They even suggested demolishing the pillars. We wanted to keep the pillars since they matched the brickwork around our pool but could not afford the vinyl option from this company. That is when I called Mike's fencing. He came out to do an estimate and it was much lower than the other company. Mike told me that he is not limited to pre-made vinyl fencing sections and could easily accommodate our pillars. SOLD... The entire process took a while. There was permitting that needed to be completed and such, but we were patient and absolutely could not be happier. Mike and his team did a beautiful job with the section of fencing with the pillars interspersed. They also replaced the fencing for a small yard attached to a studio bedroom. And they replaced three sagging, heavy, wooden gates with beautiful, light, smooth vinyl gates. I still smile every time I open one and can't believe all those years struggling with our old gates... Mike also added two chain link gates for us in the back of our property, one to close off our pool area and the other for easier access to the canal (very helpful for kayaks and lawn mowers). We shopped around for different options to install a vinyl fence along the side of our yard, and Mike was awesome! He called me back right away to discuss our needs, then personally came by to take a look at the yard and what it would take to build what we wanted. He was very clear in explaining the options, and provided us with a very reasonable estimate. When we changed our minds about what we needed, he immediately gave us a revised estimate. Once we decided to have it built, he came back again to take final measurements and laid out a clear timeline for construction, which he fulfilled exactly and without any complications. After the big windstorm we had last year, most of our fence had blown down. We had dogs and were worried about their protection. We didn't know what to do so we called Mikes Fencing. Mike and his team were just amazing! Not only did Mike complete the job on schedule but he helped us in other ways. He recommended another color of vinyl fencing that matched our rock wall and the house a lot better. People are always telling me how much nicer my new fence looks. Also, he recommended walk-thru gates that facilitated us from opening the big gate when guest came over, a major plus. I called Mike for as estimate and he came out in few days. I had used his company about 12-14 years ago and liked their work os I called them again. I was not disappointed. His crew came out and was very courteous and efficient. They cleaned-up everything every day. Mike's Fencing finished our redwood fencing today and we are over the top satisfied with the high level of work and excellent work ethics. From start to finish we were impressed with their timeliness in returning calls and Mike communicated via email because he is on the job site during the day, his assistant Jessie returns calls for Mike. Mike's foreman Kimo is a very hard worker. All the workers were courteous and hard working. Mike's performance delivered what was on the contract. They estimated a 4 day job, but finished in 3 days. We had a vinyl fence with two gates installed to enclose a swimming pool pump area. Because of the location which included buried water pipes and other obstacles, the project had some planning challenges. Mike came up with a simple but professional plan. They finished everything in one day, cleaned up thoroughly, and even went the extra mile to paint the fence (which they don't do painting) so it would meet Mililani Town Association and AOAO requirements (which can be strict about uniformity). That extra effort made the whole process stress-free and awesome. The workmanship is solid -- our gate and fence are now sturdier than our association-built carport. Supreme Fencing was one of the contractors who replied first to my inquiries, and sent someone out to evaluate the project site and get me an estimate quickly. Their pricing was fair, and they offered many appealing options for what I wanted to do. Despite how backed up with work they had due to island wide damage from this last storm, they were also very accommodating with scheduling given my concerns about the needs to have the fence replaced before the remains of my old fence caused damage if another storm hits. From beginning to end, my experience with Supreme Fencing has been exemplary. Erika kept me up to date and answered every question I had immediately, with cheer and enthusiasm. She's a great asset to Supreme Fencing and contributed greatly to my fantastic experience hiring them. The work crew arrived on schedule and worked HARD through a very hot and humid two days to demolish my old fence and put up a new vinyl fence and gate. Their foreman and crew were very friendly and despite the conditions worked nonstop and sounded like they had fun doing it. They were perfectionists in how they tackled the project, filling me in each step on what they had planned to do and how they planned to do it, and made sure everything was done with my needs in mind, and a flawless end result as the goal. When everything was up I watched as they went over everything with a fine tooth comb and wiped it all down and made sure that not a piece was out of place and everything looked perfect. They were also very mindful of cleaning up the work site every day. I'm extremely happy with the end result and can firmly say I made the right decision to hire Supreme Fencing, and I expect that anyone who reads this review will have the same experience I did.

I understand companies can become busy, especially after weather events and high demand periods, but communication regarding whether the project could realistically be quoted or scheduled would have been appreciated.

George on the other hand, called me the same day and stopped by my house soon after to take some measurements. He provided me with a quote with all costs broken down. He waited patiently while I collected other quotes and discussed with my husband. We went with George because of his excellent communication, he showed us plans/what to expect, and is honest. George and his assistant Saul did an terrific job on our railing project. They showed up on time, on the day they said they were going to be at our house, and completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with the result! People think we had the railing there all along, and it is sturdy, functional, and looks great! Mahalo George!

George Filipe and the 808 F&R expert painter did a top quality job on the Oahu Cemetery fence…read moresurrounding the Chun Afong plots. We have been taking care of this fence for 20 years. It has never looked so good after painting. As you can see from the photos, the fence has spearheads, balls, and multiple rails, making the painting process more difficult. 808 F&R carefully prepared the fence, removing rust bubbles and grinding down the the metal where needed. We flew over from California for a couple of weeks. 808 F&R was able to start and complete the job while we were on Oahu. You can see their work for yourself on the right hand side of Nuuanu heading out of Honolulu.

I got quotes from 5 other companies, and when it came down to it, their pricing was in the ball park, but the difference was the added level of value they provided above and beyond what the other companies quoted. Chris, the estimator, had multiple conversations with me about options and ways to keep cost down. All the way to the install date, he told me that I could make adjustments and that Josh, the installer would also advise and help make the best on site decisions. Additionally, R5 was able to do things that the other guys wouldn't do. We had some shrubs that needed to get removed, and they did it as part of the quote and did not charge extra for that service. When Josh arrived, I met him and we discussed all the details. He also showed me how I could remove and rebuild sections in the event I had to have part of it taken off. (there is an easement on part of the property). Josh told me he would get the job done in a day. He started at about noon, and he worked until almost 7pm to make it happen. Everyone was pleasant and easy to work with. As for the fence, it looks top notch, my wife loves it, and my kid is safe!

After a two-week search, I selected Menora Masonry from four bids for my December 2024 retaining wall and drainage project. Suli, the owner, ran the mini excavator and ensured efficient teamwork during excavator operations Sione was pure strength. He did a lot of the excavating and put up new posts and gates. A lot was accomplished because he had a good work ethic and was trustworthy in every way. Younger Sione, Suli's nephew, executed precise bricklaying while others managed cement mixing. He rebuilt the failing wall sections and also a leaning column with great precision. Task on December 11, 2024: To replace the weak sections of my retaining wall that held the terraced front area of my property. Then run 80 feet of perforated PVC pipe underground along it to relieve the pressure of excess water into an adjoining swale easement. In addition, water in my back garden area, weathered by mauka wind and rain, would pool and seep beneath the slab of my house. Menora jackhammered part of the old walkway and created slope for the water to empty into the same swale easement and away from the foundation. They also built a raised cement barrier along the house. Communication: An area of improvement could have been reviewing our understanding of the planned work in intervals. While communication could improve with mid-project checkpoints (especially during garden water mitigation), post-work cleanup with Suli's son, Suli Jr., revealed excellent attention to detail. The January 2025 storm validated their work - both wall stability and drainage performed flawlessly under heavy wind and rain. I had complete peace of mind for my neighbors below that the wall would hold and not cause damage; and that the garden-side rain would not pool towards the house. I truly appreciate the hard work and effort on the part of Menora Masonry and highly recommend them!

As he requested I provided pictures of the hinge and gate. He gave me a verbal estimate of $1200. I told him to provided a writtenn proposal I needed to take to our Facility Board for review and approval. As of today (9/11/25) I've not received the written proposal even though I was promised over and over I would receive one. Accordingly I texted them and said to forget it as it was fairly obvious they were not interested in doing the project. They could have least been up front in that they didn't want the project.
