Our 60 year old rental property sewer line needed to be replaced. It had cracks in it so tree roots were forming in the line. This caused sewer back up for the tenants. So happy to have found Mikes Plumbing on Yelp We had a toilet leak and a sink that wasn't draining well. I made a call and was pleased & surprised that Mike himself answered my call. I explained the situation and he said that he was on a job currently but could be at my house later that morning. Well it turned out he was running a little bit later than he thought he would be but had texted me to let me know, which was so appreciated. Upon arrival Mike and his assistant assessed the situation and explained what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost. I agreed and they got to it. In a timely manner the work was completed, Mike explained in detail what he had done and how in the future issues that might arise with an aging toilet, which I wasn't aware of. Unfortunately later that evening I found a small leak under the sink caused by a fitting not being tight enough. It was one of those days - planned to replace the washer on a faucet - turned off the water supply for the faucet and it did not completely shut off the water. Went outside and the main valve for the house was leaking. So, no water to the house and everything is leaking. Decided it was time to get help. Looked at Yelp and found Mike's. I called and Miguel answered. I explained my situation and he said he could be here by noon. At noon Miguel showed up and assessed the situation. He quoted me a price - gave me a senior discount - and said he could get it done right away. I agreed to get it done. He ran and got the parts he needed and began the work. Our pipes are old but he was able to make the faucet/supply lines/supply valves repair without any problems.
