Who would pay for this kind of service??? Thankfully I found Jameson Pool Service on google search & they were out the day I called them! Yay! They were on everything like "white on rice"! Now that's what I call spectacular service! So once every week they are out to service my Hot Tub & Pool. They email me a rundown on what is going on w/ both which shows: Readings - Chemicals Added - Service Performed ALONG w/ a photo of both looking super sparkling clean! We interviewed 6 pool installation companies, and the one that heard, listened, and created the most appropriate solution for us was Hollywood Pools and Spas. They built a pool and patio that have met our needs perfectly. We have a new pool within the shell of the old (35x15) pool, deep enough for vertical water aerobics (6'3" instead of 8') and an adequate size to accommodate whatever and whoever!! The Hydrazzo finish is beautifully smooth, and the Shellock pavers promise us many years of worry-free living. They need no sealing and complement the bronzy tones of the back of our house. A major concern for us was storm generated water coming in the back of our house and screened porch (slightly downhill from the pool). 4" drains liberally installed were the perfect solution to sending water to the side yards. We experienced no serious water-related problems from Hurricanes Debby, Helene or Milton. Yes, there were some hiccups, but all concerns were suitably resolved. Thank you Ron, Joe, Jessica, Chad, Tanner and all the related subcontractors. That was the year that was!! One of the most valuable parts of this process is the fact that the "salesman" you speak with initially is involved in the process all the way through to the end.

Although the process was less than desirable, they eventually followed through and the result is a beautiful pool. The project was very poorly managed, communication was nearly non-existent, there was a lot of rework, the job site was a mess the entire time, it took twice as long to complete as stated, the pool equipment was not installed or plumbed to manufacturer's requirements, the hand rail for the steps was rusty when it was installed and they won't replace it and they literally destroyed all of the xeriscape in my side yard and they won't make it right. I had to call them repeatedly to get things done or redone correctly. The bottom line is that they did not deliver on what they said they were going to do and turned something we were very much looking forward to into a very unpleasant experience. I made numerous efforts to address issues during the course of our pool project before they became problems. One day, everyone seems so nice and is communicating with you and the next ...weeks go by and no one will answer the phones or return your texts!! I was told my pool would be done by Labor Day!!!! It's been almost a year since I put money down and they still have excuses!! Now they aren't answering or communicating and they would be done here in 3 days- tops!!! I haven't received ANY instructions at all on how to use my pool equipment or any kind of manual or warranty paperwork! I've asked 500 times how to put my umbrella in the umbrella holder on the pool shelf and no one is even answering that!! My pavers were mostly laid on Jan 6th and not finished!!! That's all I'm waiting for- that and the drainage to be inspected and actually passed (failed 3-4 times). They hired a friend of mine to do all the digging for the drainage and said they were sending him a check - which was 10 days ago (and he's out money-that he doesn't have!- from renting equipment) and he has yet to receive the check!! My pool is not compliant at this point since the drainage plan has NOT passed inspection due to the patio and extra pavers being done!! I am being ignored and they have deleted my app as well!!! Do NOT trust them!!!!! I am calling the attorney that has already been used against them tomorrow.

After a few months the pool looked like a swamp. I had several quotes to get the pool cleaned and running again, some of these other companies really tried to gouge me and upcharge me on things I did not want. Bob came out and gave me a very reasonable quote and did not try to upcharge me on anything. Once the pool got cleaned out I decided I should refinish it and add a sundeck. Again they could of gave me an outrageous quote since half the job was done but once again I was given a very reasonable number. Communication was great by phone, text and email. The guys who came out to do the work were very friendly and professional. The job got done in a reasonable amount of time and the pool looks fantastic. The company was know as Walker pools previously but now called Affordable so you can look up both to find them. If I ever need pool repairs again they will be the first ones I call. Really great job.
