I chose Mikes because they had the most thorough response and seemed really professional. However, three visits later, I have had the worst experience with the Riverside location. I chose the top of the line ceramic tint and paid $1,500. It was a lot but I wanted the best since I knew I would not buy another car in 10 or more years. The initial install was pleasant enough. I asked questions regarding a couple of bubbles I saw before I left and was assured by Erick that they would disappear after the moisture evaporated. Some did, lots did not. (See initial install photos) I went back to have the back and rear windows redone. The bubbles were worse on the back and on one of the triangle windows. (See 1st reinstall showing dust particles and bad cuts pics) Also, the clarity in the rear window was poor. (See light glares in rear window pic) I was told that it could be due to an astigmatism or the defroster lines. What?! Thinking that the 3rd time would be the charm I went back again for another fix. This time it seems they just made a complete mess of the backseat, the floor mats and carpet top behind the seats. This is a new car. It was pristine when I gave it to them. (See pics of goo and backseat mess). Also, there are still lots of dust bubbles along the back window worse than the second install . (see 3rd install pics which was Sat. July 12, 2025). I don't know what to do anymore. I spent so much money and each time I bring my car back I'm told, "this never happened before" only to leave with it looking worse! I'm beyond frustrated. It's supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I don't have it in me to keep going back wasting my time and energy. They didn't bother to walk the car after each install except the time that I asked and was assured that things would evaporate. I even walked back in after the third install and the front counter was empty. I just left and saw the backseat damage once I got home. I would never recommend this business to anyone. My daughter, my husband and my son were looking to get their cars done. They will be looking elsewhere.

I'm only reviewing the automatic drive through touchless car wash as I've not used the vacuums or…read morethe self service car wash (where you still handwash it yourselves with their tools). I will rate this high for the fact it is a touchless car wash, which is pretty hard to find. When you are lazy to clean it yourself but you don't want the car washes with the spinners to damage your car, this is a great option. Now of course, the downside to every touchless is that it isn't going to be perfect at cleaning. Your car has baked in dirt/bird poop on it for who knows how long - is any car wash really going to remove it in 10 minutes or less without significant scrubbing? No - these are honestly best hand washed. If you have trouble removing it yourself, don't expect a drive through car wash to do it for you. Now for expectations met: I drive an SUV and ir does appear that they are able to reach all parts of my car. I don't see any soap residue and the spot free rinse really does help with not having marks everywhere. I also see it take off a decent % of the dirt off of my car and cars in front of me. I once saw a completely dusty brown car turn shiny clean even with only paying for the lowest package. The wax and seal does help a little with protection against getting dirty again and overall look, but not significant enough for most people, in my opinion, to buy the package. I do opt for it because I park under trees a lot, so it makes future car washes easier. Now of course I should mention the cons that could be improved. The dryer is only 1 minute, assuming you are fast about putting your car in drive and driving forward. The slower you are (I.e. not paying attention), the less time you get to use the dryer. I wish they would either give more time or start the timer when you are closer. However, this is somewhat common so it's just what the industry does (just wish they didn't follow suit). Also I wish that the vacuum was at least discounted if you used this wash. If all you used was the vacuum - charge full price. If someone paid for the self-service or this wash, at least discount it a little for having paid for the full package. Otherwise, the cost is not better than quick quack or similar that has a membership and unlimited cleaning.

They were very easy to talk to and were flexible when I had to reschedule my appointment. When I got to my scheduled appointment they were very friendly and gave me both patience and valuable information on their selection, as well as the pros/cons of different options so that I was able to make an informed decision. When they started working on my tint they called me immediately to tell me that I already had the tint percentage that I wanted on my back windows, so no work ended up needing to be done to them which cut the costs by over half. They were honest and transparent with me about that, whereas the honesty they displayed would most likely not be guaranteed with other tinting places. Job was fantastic! You can tell that they are running a respectable and reputable business, definitely would recommend!! read more

The service was fantastic. A good friend of mine recommended Freeway Tint to get my windows done on my Kia Niro and when I called the guy quoted me 190 for basic tint but told me there are other plan options that provide better tint against fading and discoloration over time. I tried to set the appointment for the weekend due to my work schedule getting out after 330pm but he said they were busy but told me to go in on Wednesday at 4pm. He said if I was running late to call and let them know. When I got there at 4pm the same guy showed me the tint options which went for the Autobahn brand 3M film which has a lifetime warranty against fading and discoloration which was 90 more but I get a better quality on the film. I chose the AutoBahn film and when they finished installing it my car looked great and amazing. read more

My wife and I had our 2012 Accord Sedan tinted in early June, then did a road trip to Seattle area to try it out before I wrote this review--I wanted to wait and see. We are happy customers! The tinted windows made the car cooler and more comfortable shade-wise on the long drive on I-5--especially with our son and his pregnant wife in the back seats. Ben was very helpful when we weren't sure how the tinting would actually look from inside the car, so he brought some sample films out and held them up while we sat in the car. I have had 3 cars tinted by Freeway Tint. First was my truck, then my wifes SUV, and also my moms car. Every time I have been here they are very professional, polite, and do an amazing job. I have had my truck tinted for 3 years now and my tint hasn't faded one bit, zero defects or bubbles, and the good quality tint has kept the interior of my truck like new. Andy, the owner, was especially great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and transparent throughout the process, taking the time to walk me through the differences between the various tint shades and explaining the different XPEL tint tiers and their benefits. They did great job removing the old material and applying a new tint perfectly. They also walked me around my car to show me defects I hadn't even noticed and warned me that my other windows would likey start bubbling soon. I really value their honesty and expertise. I will be coming back to get the rest of my windows done here ! Update (June): I came back to the shop to get the rest of my windows finished, and they did another Fantastic job! They did 5% on the rear windows and 15% on the front windows. I'll be returning again to get the front windshield done. I'd give them 10 stars if I could, but Google only allows 1 review. They have a great staff and amazing craftmanship. Thank you Prime Auto Care! They worked on my VW sedan.

I have had a couple warranty situations and these folks take care of you with no questions asked if you have your original paperwork. We need more businesses out there like Sundown. They do great work and are pleasant to deal with. And when was the last time the waiting room offered you a bottle water or soda at no charge!!! You are cheating yourself if you don't give them a try. Thank you Mitch and the Sundown Staff!!! I will be back to have my house done next.
