OMG! All you need to do is buy boba (next door) or cat treats and you can play with kittens!!! Beyond the obvious cuteness, I am so impressed with this pet shop. They sell high quality pet food that I was only able to get from boutique shops, which I don't have access to anymore as I moved. I either met the manager, or the owner, and she was super sweet. As I mentioned, there is a great selection of high quality cat and dog food for your furbabies. Since its great quality, it's not the cheap but, if you're kitty or pupper is your child, you will want to check out this shop. I've been going to Miko's since the beginning of the year and honestly it's been one of my favorite places to go (even before I had cats)! Most cat cafe places wouldn't let you hold the cats or even pet them- but at Miko's, I'm so happy we're able to play with them and even hold them! My kids loves coming here too! My son has ASD so I was worried about everything, but staffs are so kind and understanding. Today, my husband and I went in to get their goodie bag and oh my goodness my fur babies were so happy These cute special treats are so special to the fur babies! If you want to go inside to play with the cats, there is a $5 donation fee per person. You can purchase items from the pet supply store that equals up to the amount or you can just donate $5 to the pet store. The store sells a variety of pet food, treats and toys. I mainly come here to play with the cats. All the cats there are available to be adopted. Before entering they require a $5 donation. You can purchase anything in the store for the donation. I asked the cashier her recommendation and she suggested 2 cans of cat food and that totaled $5. What I love about Miko's is that with a $5 donation there is no time limit. The cats are all well cared for and have access to food, water, litter boxes and places to rest. From my experience most of the cats were sleeping and maybe only a few of the cats are active and are looking to interact. The cats who did interact with me were all friendly and even got into my lap! I adopted my sweet ragdoll girl from here and my partner has also adopted a gray tabby as well! The selection of goods is excellent, lots of products for cats. I'm not familiar with dogs but I assume the stuff is equally as high quality for them if you're a dog owner. They have some really cute cat cardboard houses that are super unique. There's a wide array of harder to find high quality wet foods and freeze dried treats, and they stock all the varieties of Pidan litter (which don't show up in stores often and is the best litter out there!) Every time I go here, there's always some kind of deal/sale going on with the wet food cans! The staff is always super nice, friendly, and helpful if I have any questions. I love this little store! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on all things pet. We asked many questions about cat treats before choosing a bag for my friend's little cat at home. Then, we both donated $5 to hang out in the rescue cat room! For unlimited time to pet the kitties, this was an UNBEATABLE price. I've seen some other cat cafes with much steeper prices. The $5 donation also goes towards taking care of the cats! If you don't feel comfortable donating, you can also buy any cat supplies equaling $5 from the store to donate to the kitties there! The cats were soooo cute and friendly and look very well taken care of. The litter boxes were clean and there was ample food and water for all of them. The people who left one star reviews complaining about not knowing they have to donate or that they didn't get any notice are wayy to sensitive and clearly don't have eyes because there's signs all over telling you the instructions. These cats are normal house cats with varying temperaments. Please teach your child before entering the cat room how to pet cats and keep an eye on your little one so that they don't disturb sleeping or hiding cats. My rule of thumb is to sit down and let the cats come to you. Usually the more chill, kind, cats will come up to you and allow you to pet them.
