This store is very convenient which makes me happy as my family and I are regular customers since we adopted two Yorkie puppies. This store is always clean and well-organized, pricing on every single item is always accurate and clearly posted, employees are very helpful and always happy and my pups love this store bcos (I think they know?) that they will receive something cool and fun after visiting.

I would like petsmart to be certified by the humane society like Petco :) I bought but betta half moonchild here and he passed away on the 3rd day. They said it's my fault because I didn't change the water everyday. He is resting in peace. The beautiful thing is after I buried him, new plant life grew next to his burial site.

Lexie H. destroyed our Old English sheepdog's once beautiful coat

We took our Old English Sheepdog for a bath & a trim. We asked Lexie H. to scissor cut, as any trained groomer should know about OES. I pointed out that he had only a few small tangles on his chest/neck area (not widespread, as I brushed it that morning) where his harness goes. When she complained, I showed how his head was combed daily & to leave it alone because we put in a hair tie sometimes. Should've listened to my gut after she tried to say he wasn't brushed. She'd called to complain that when she was trying to trim under his neck he growled, so I told her to leave that area alone. He is not a biter, but don't continue if it's an issue... But when we picked him up, he was shaved & they charged $227 after 2.5 hours. This particular groomer is just totally clueless!! Her excuse after was that he would look uneven if she followed what I wanted. No consideration for what was explained multiple times. Literally no one has recognized him! ***Update: Steve the manager initially said he was working on a 50% refund with corporate after apologizing multiple times -- which turned into $50 off only. Learn from my mistake & if you have a dog with a double coat, take them elsewhere!

Came to petsmart to pick up my cats from Banfield (which I love ) decided to take a look at the adoptable kitties while we waited for ours to be brought out. This kitty in particular has clear signs of an upper respiratory infection he's gasping for air and it doesn't look like he's being tended to at all he has boogers on his fur and the wall as well as gasping for air. Not sure what's going on here but they really need to up their care taking at this location seems like they just drop the cats in there and call it a day. I'd like to clarify this post is in no way related to Banfield I was told they are not aloud to tend to the adoptable pets and they are only able to be treated by the rescue organization. I did mention the bleeding cat to one of the petsmart workers and she did alert someone so I hope it is taken care of as for the sick kitty I was told he'd probably be picked up the following day to be treated hope that is in the case. Lastly I just want to say I do like petsmart as a store the workers are always very nice the adoption center however could use some work

Super happy with how my dog's haircut turned out. He is really soft and clean . Totally recommend Sarah H. 10/10 super nice!

Our go to store for our pets necessities, as well as her puppy training , for the most part it seems like we do better at home with the training than what we paid for but hey nonetheless it's only been the second class I guess we should wait to see the final outcome ... other than that the service we got first time coming here the other day was great he helped us out signed us up quick for the classes as well and got us right now on out . The only thing I would say is some items are a little overpriced where I can either go on other websites like Amazon etc and find the same exact name brand merchandise for cheaper . I never asked if they priced matched but I guess that's something to ask for next time around . One thing for certain is the fish tanks here are forsure over priced oppose to fish aquariums I've been to in Ontario off mission between grove and Milliken. But hey I guess everyone has to make their buck $ right .

No words for how despicable Lexie H is for doing this to him & having the audacity to demand over $200 for it

Now that I have more time I wanted to finish Bella's training. I reached out to bark busters because Bella had a lot of anxiety and would have non stop barking issues. We have a new baby in the house so all the barking was no fun! I'm telling you, no joke after the first visit with our trainer Justine, I felt as if Bella was a whole new dog! She gives such great advice on how to properly train your dog without food incentives and shock collars! I was so amazed that I started telling a lot of my friends about it! I just finished my second session with Justine today and she was giving me tips and tricks on how to walk Bella without her pulling. By the end of the session I was walking Bella and Bella wasn't walking me! Justine truly cares for me and Bella and is very thoughtful on modifying things that help me the best! It's definitely worth the investment. I couldn't be any more happy and I would definitely recommend Bark Busters, especially with Justine, to everyone and anyone! Enjoy a picture of Bella after our training session today!

We rescued an…read moreAmerican Pit Bull Terrier mix from our local animal shelter during Covid, and immediately fell in love with her. Since then, we have done our best to train her (even hired a dog training company) and while she's been amazing to us, there have been some incidents. We tried to correct her behavior but we had to go beyond just correcting a behavior, we had to know the why. We needed a dog behaviorist. Enter Bark Busters and Justine! From the very first phone conversation with Justine, she told us about a dog's personality (the who) vs. a dog's behavior (the why). Was our dog just naturally an aggressive dog or was our dog showing aggression due to past trauma. After the initial phone call then came the in person assessment in our home, Justine knew our dog's personality was sweet and loving to us; however, due to her being a rescue, her past experiences led to trauma that led to aggressive behaviors towards others in certain situations. Moreover, during that first assessment, she educated us things we had no idea about or thought about with dogs as pets plus what we need to be and do as owners. Justine was and is exactly what we were looking for in understanding our dog and from there building the right relationship with our dog that will keep her and others safe. The business model and curriculum that Bark Busters and Justine have put in place is one of a kind and works from day 1. We have always wanted what is best for our dog and to give her the best life possible, especially because she is a rescue and her breed. Bark Busters and Justine continues to give us the tools in place to build the confidence and trust we have as owners in our dog and our dog has in us as owners. We are forever grateful to Justine and will recommend her and Bark Busters to anyone!

I can not express how much of an amazing trainer Ian is!…read more I have a dog, Deku, who had behavioral issues. Deku has been through a previous board and train, but I feel like that board and train mainly tackled his obedience, not his behavior issues. I let Ian know about all of this prior to boarding Deku and he made sure to explain his process with me. He also made me write down goals for Deku so that he can focus on them and make sure he tackled through them. I boarded Deku with Ian for 3 weeks and Ian made sure to send over progress pictures/videos every single day! I appreciated the content of Deku because that is basically my baby lol. There was a mid session where Ian taught me how to properly use the ecollar and showcasing what Deku has been up to the time he was with Ian. Deku was pretty much a different dog by the mid session, so it excited me to have him back after the 3rd week. The day I got Deku back, Ian showed me all of the progress and work Deku did and he was completely different. Deku stopped reacting towards people/other dogs and he was very obedient with following all commands! It's been almost a week now and Ian has checked in on Deku while he's been at home for the week and I also have follow-up sessions included in my service! I have been so happy with Deku is at! Before, I would be too scared to bring Deku out in public due to his reactivity/behavior, but I truly believe he is a completely different dog now, for the better! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Ian to EVERYONE. He is the real deal. I do feel like Ian knows how to connect with these dogs and emphasizes about how important relationships + communicating with your dog. Ian id the BEST!

Each evening, after spending the day working and training Maverick, Alexx would send me pictures and/or video updates, along with explanations of the things they were working on, and also what I needed to know to continue working with Maverick after he returned home. And each night I would watch the videos and cry happy tears. I couldn't believe that was my dog! Maverick responded so well with Alexx. And after two weeks, he was ready to come home. I couldn't believe it! And I was so afraid that I was going to mess something up and that my dog would never behave for me the way he had for Alexx. But I was wrong! From the day Maverick came home I could tell he was a different dog already. I paid close attention to the things that Alexx trained ME to know. And every day I continue to work with Maverick the way that we were taught. I was never fearful of the tools that Alexx employed while training Maverick. I knew that proper use of a prong collar would not hurt Maverick. And to the contrary, Maverick responded much better to that, than to having a slip lead noose around his neck. With a slip lead Maverick with pull himself so hard he could've done damage to his esophagus. But with the prong collar, he no longer pulled on his leash. I also was never afraid of using the E collar. From day one, Alexx showed me proper use of the E collar. And he even demonstrated it to me, having me hold it in my hand to feel the vibration. I know that the E collar does not harm Maverick in any way, it's simply a gentle reminder for him to make good decisions. And it works. Since Maverick came back home, I actually rarely need to even press the button to make the E collar vibrate. However, if Maverick needs a reminder, it is a tool that has proven to be extremely useful. Maverick no longer pulls when on leash. He walks next to me and heels very well. And when we encounter other dogs and he begins to bristle, as if he were going to react, all I have to do is remind him to heel. If I see that he is starting to forget, I hit the button for the E collar control. For Maverick I have it set at 15, which is pretty low, and usually one tap is all it takes to get him back on track! Sometimes all I have to do is touch the controller and he responds without me even pushing the button! It's like it's ingrained in him already. And it works! Maverick came home, such a better dog! And since then he and I have been able to bond in a way that we weren't able to in the months prior to him going to Omega Paws. Maverick now has a better understanding of what he needs to do, and he follows directions much better. He understands when I tell him to go to his place, and he stays there. He also understands when he is supposed to be in his crate, and he goes in without a fight. I love our walks because on leash he is amazing! And he has not reacted in the same manner towards another dog since returning from Omega Paws, so I no longer have that fear of being injured when he's on leash. He is much better mannered. And I have no doubt that within the year I will be able to get him certified to become a working Therapy Dog with me! And barely a year old he's still a puppy, and he's not perfect. But he is so much better than he was, and our relationship is so much better as well! And believe me when I say that my dog is much calmer, and he does not need a treadmill! He just needed to learn boundaries, and we needed to bond! That's something that we weren't able to do with the previous training. We had such a good experience with Omega Paws, that once Maverick had come home and we saw the difference in him, we decided to have Alexx and his team train our two small dogs as well. They are both Chihuahua mixes, and or were foster fails. One is 10 years old and the other is eight years old, so they are pretty set in their ways! But we wanted to give them basically the same foundation that Maverick had so that they all had the same understanding. And while they are not quite as good as Maverick, they are definitely much improved. They definitely understand boundaries much better, and they behave better on leash! I cannot say enough about Alexx and Luis, and all of Omega Paws. I was literally on the verge of giving up, and contemplating surrendering my dog because I knew that I could not go on the way that we were. And that's a terrible feeling to have when you love a dog! Omega Paws gave me back my dog, and also self-confidence. I am so grateful to them for all they've done for my family. And I can't wait to see what my future holds with Maverick by my side! A million thanks to you, Omega Paws!

Sadly, kiwi passed away and poor Koji needed some help. It was time to bring him back indoors! His hair was out of control! He was filthy, and needed major grooming. I mean MAJAHHH grooming. Check out the before and after pics... insane. You couldn't even see his eyes. I know bad fur mama. I searched for a local groomer and Sarah was the 1st to respond quickly! I got so lucky because someone had rescheduled and was able to bring Koji in immediately! Sarah is amazing. The minute Koji met her you can tell how passionate she is about her craft. She immediately connected with Koji, and gave me a brief consultation on how long it would take for the services. We left Koji with Sarah. Koji had a lot of work done! It took about 3 hours to make sure every area was given attention too. It's located by the West Covina mall -- so it wasn't a problem to kill some time. Koji got a full service groom ... which was teeth, nails, ears, sanitary shave, haircut/trim, skin check, bath, blueberry facial, and dry. He even came out with a cute bandana. We couldn't really style him because she had no choice but to shave his hair because it was so tangled. But You guys! OMG! He came out looking like a new dog and he smelled like a baby! . She did exceptional. I think there are very few groomers in this world who truly care about their clients and furry customers! Sarah is one of them -- she truly cares about you fur babies and will do whatever it takes to ensure the job is done with care. I highly recommend her for her grooming services! I saw she also offers a doggy day care. It's good to know I have someone I can trust to care for Koji when needed. I hardly give 5 stars unless I feel it's exceptional service--- and this groomer is!! I'll definitely be back! Thank you Sarah for your passion, your craft and attention to detail.
