Yes, they have reptiles here, lots of beardies, crested geckos of all sizes, morphs, with and without tails, a frilled lizard, rock iguanas, various snakes, and honestly THE MOST chameleons, especially large ones that I HAVE EVER SEEN even at a reptile shop, so if you're looking for chameleons this might actually be the place. There's a lot of cohabitation going on, but honestly, aside from the East Bay Vivarium, due to lack of space and funding, this is an unfortunate aspect that can't be avoided... They also have lots of birds including parrots of all sizes, cockatiels, finches, and even a chicken. They're kept in a very tall, big display coop which is pretty cool. There aren't really any bird shops in the area (the most exotic you'll get are aquarium shops and SOME reptile ones), so if you have feathered friends, this is the place to go. I LOVE that they have prepackaged feed specifically for different species. Made by the business owners for sure and they also have a good amount of feeders too. For mammals they have some hamsters, bunnies, and guinea pigs. For inverts, they have tarantulas and scorpions. Deku is known to have reactivity issues especially with being touched, which is why I was so iffy to come here. Deku has been kicked out atother groomers due to his reactivity, so I have been personally grooming him myself. One groomer at this shop specifically gave Deku a bath and even if Deku was reactive towards him, he was very patient with Deku and he was able to get his bath on! Just had a problem with my muzzle, so they provided their muzzle for Deku. I also chatted with Danny (Owner) and I love how informative he was about Deku being groomed. He told me about multiple stories about other dogs who were worst in reactivity compared to Deku, but it took time and now they're fine with being groomed, though it was a process. It gave me a peace of mind since they did not give up on Deku even though he was very reactive towards them. I respected it so much because it easily could have been Deku being kicked out/not welcomed to their services, yet he was telling me to make sure to book the next appointment for Deku! I appreciated it SO much and I will forever be so thankful for it. Their groomers + service is just absolutely FANTASTIC! I booked the appointment online and I love how easy it was. Deku has been through a previous board and train, but I feel like that board and train mainly tackled his obedience, not his behavior issues. I let Ian know about all of this prior to boarding Deku and he made sure to explain his process with me. He also made me write down goals for Deku so that he can focus on them and make sure he tackled through them. I boarded Deku with Ian for 3 weeks and Ian made sure to send over progress pictures/videos every single day! I appreciated the content of Deku because that is basically my baby lol. There was a mid session where Ian taught me how to properly use the ecollar and showcasing what Deku has been up to the time he was with Ian. Deku was pretty much a different dog by the mid session, so it excited me to have him back after the 3rd week. The day I got Deku back, Ian showed me all of the progress and work Deku did and he was completely different. Deku stopped reacting towards people/other dogs and he was very obedient with following all commands! It's been almost a week now and Ian has checked in on Deku while he's been at home for the week and I also have follow-up sessions included in my service! I have been so happy with Deku is at! Before, I would be too scared to bring Deku out in public due to his reactivity/behavior, but I truly believe he is a completely different dog now, for the better! My vet told me to go directly to pet smart and buy her food ASAP because she needed it tonight . I walked in and asked the cashier to clarify the procedure to purchase prescription food. She told me to walk back to ban-field and they have to write me a prescription card and then I could purchase the food. I walked back there and of course there were no employees at the counter. I waited patiently approximately 20 minutes with not one employee coming to help or tell me they would be with when available. I walked back to the cashier and asked if they were open because I could hear several females laughing but nobody came out to help me. I asked if she could tell them they had a customer waiting. She said she could not communicate with them but said she would send someone to knock on their door and let them know I was there. She also informed me that they could see me standing there with their cameras . I waited another 10 minutes and nothing and no employee came to knock on the door as promised . I then decided to call ban-field directly because I could still hear them all laughing and carrying on about their personal problems . A female answered the phone and I asked her if she could send someone to help me at the counter. She answered very rudely that she was busy. What happened to having compassion for customers and sick pets. You ladies should be ashamed of yourselves. All I wanted was some direction on how to purchase the food for my sick baby at home. I then drove to the Glendora pets mart. A female Michelle from Ban-field put me on hold for 12 minutes then hung up on me. I called back and she said to ask the pet smart employee not her. I walked in and thankfully I was met by a kind employee at the front named Tiffany. Thank you so much for your help and compassion. She helped me and escorted me to where the food was at and filled out a prescription card for me. She said ban-field will only fill out cards if they prescribe it. She checked all the stores who had what I needed in stock and went way out of her way to help me with my situation. I told her what a happened to me and she apologized for their behavior.
