I went in on a weekday to treat myself for my birthday. I got the Milk and Honey pedicure, because it was symbolic for me. As well as a basic manicure that included a rose petal and lemon slice. I absolutely enjoyed my time and felt so relaxed. It is gorgeous in here, spacious, super clean. You get to unwind and forget about everything else while you are you. They include wonderful amenities like massage chairs, complimentary beverage, and neck pillows! There are towels in the bathroom instead of paper towels which I really appreciated. Everything has detailed touches especially for being in Whittier it is fairly elegant. The women here are welcoming and the men keep it strictly professional. I love that I was able to use a cupón as well! I had an over all very relaxed experience and would love to book another appointment here. Next time what I would do differently is wait as long as possible for the nail polish to dry or get the gel manicure. I was sitting at the nail drying station for a while and once they felt dry I left. However, when I went into Sephora in that same shopping center I noticed there was a large dent in the nail polish! The polish was so thick and didn't dry long enough. It would have been cool if someone checked back and gave me the okay to leave. There were scratches on one of my toe nails as well. I did a walk in today at about 5:45pm. I knew that Milano closed at 7pm, so I was kind of nervous if they would be able to do a mani/pedi for me. With how expensive their services are, especially with prices continuing to go up, I feel like the quality should last much longer than a week. I know they have a 7-day policy, but I'm mostly only available on weekends, and going back during the week is inconvenient, especially since my weekday appointments always seem to take longer than they should. I did almond shape french tip full set. 60+15$ french tip + 5$ for the shape (this is new to me) i asked if my cuticles can be cut and Danny said after. He started to cut them when he was almost done. He didnt soak my hands and it hurted a little as we tried to remove cuticles. I work in the medical field so i was my hands alot and is nice to have them remove nicely and painless. The shape looked nice. Vivian did my feet and i was disappointed. One she got The wrong shade of color and since Danny was doing my nails; the pillow was blocking my view. When i felt she was done i looked down and said "oh no thats the wrong shade" she got upset bc she would have to redo everything. However i was in a little of a time crunch since i had to wait 30+ mins i told her is fine. However one of my big toes looked sloppy and manager saw me asking if she can atleast redo that one and she said something to him and looked at me and did it but i sense she was upset. Then one of my pinkys she added like 7 coats because it had the same issue. So it looks super thick.
