Modern is an amazing gem tucked away in the back of the plaza! The ambiance is calm and relaxing and the service is excellent. I had my nails done by Loan! I normally get biogel (builder/hard gel) and they also offer this service! I was super impressed by the time and attention to detail in prepping my nail, just the manicure and gel portion alone. She is careful and thorough! Even the nail shape and her filing was top notch!! THEN HER ART SKILLS - WOW!!! I wanted a sakura themed nail set and she delivered!! the pictures I attached don't show how beautiful they are in person! I've been looking at other nails she has done and she really is extraordinary! She can look at a picture and know what to do to achieve the look you want! For my pedi, I had Thi and she was also SO GOOD. I have deep ingrown nails and she patiently soaked them and pulled them carefully from the root! She wasn't aggressive or inpatient and after, my toes felt much better and weren't bleeding or even sore! :) I will be going back! highly recommend!! Parking tip: the plaza parking is a bit small, but there's a huge parking lot right next door that you can park in and walk over! So I called and asked if they did builder gel and they said yes. I walked in confirmed they do builder gel and showed nails and they said yes we can do a fill worst case a new set if there's lifting. Why did he completely cut off my nails, file them down and do GELX? we never asked for gel x. They look good but seriously why do people think it's ok to do what YOU want to do when someone has perfectly long natural nails. So dissatisfied. read more

I came on June 12, 2025 at 12 pm for a manicure & pedicure. I'm disappointed to report I got an infection from what I believe is improperly cleaned nail equipment. I've came here many times now & service has been good but this is unacceptable. I will no longer be a client here. I should have stayed away when I was told they will refuse service if someone brings their own nail supplies if they are not "qualified". They assured me they clean their equipment properly but I think not now. As someone that has worked in the medical field you don't just autoclave only, you clean your utensils prior too. I came here based on a recommendation and their Instagram work, but I left disappointed. I showed a photo of the exact design I wanted and was quoted $60-$65. I was told it could be done. During the service, it became clear the design would not match the photo, and when I spoke up, I was told it would "never look like the picture." The technician seemed rushed and distracted. The final result was not the stiletto shape requested and did not match the reference photo. I was then charged $85 for Gel-X plus additional fees, which were not discussed upfront. When I questioned this, I received attitude instead of a solution. For the price paid 125 with pedicure this was not the experience I expected. read more

This is my second time coming here and both visits the workers were kind, professional, everything is clean. My first visit I was impressed with the work they did. I had a regular mani and pedi and it lasted at least 3 weeks. My second visit my nail polish lasted less than 24 hours! I was leaving on vacation the following day so I couldn't return to have it fixed. I'm currently on vacation with chipped nail polish. Very disappointing. I will give them another try but if I get same results as my second, I'll need to find another salon. read more

I love coming here. I always tell everyone i know this is a great place. I would like to state that this hasnt happened to me before. I went to get a gel mani pedi on Friday, the usual. Everyone is always very nice, gentle and focused on what theyre doing. I had one lady on my toes and another on my hands. Again, im just sitting relaxing while the two ladies have a conversation amongst one another while providing a service. As i am sitting there i feel this BURNING sensation on my foot at first i didn't think into it until it was really starting to BURN! i look down and i see the woman looking at my toe with an oh no face but she she saw me look at her her face changed quickly and she started working on my other foot. I am NOT one to make a big deal about things but this hurt. And i still brushed it off in my mind i thought oh, she cut me. I let the service continue and when i got home i looked at my foot and had to put ointment on it right away because it was burning. Here we are Sunday and it still hurts. What a bummer. I am not writing this for a horrible reason, or to let ppl know NOT to go here. Please do, theyre amazing. But just to say Hey, if you cut someone just let them know, make the customer aware. I will still continue to go here, i will not hold this against these ladies they do great work. But just a heads up from my lady would have been great is all. read more

Got my nails done today not sure of the name of the Tech that did my nails but she had freckles. Well I felt like she really didn't want to do nails when I arrived. I think I should have walked out and left my nails alone but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Well here is the result my nails are different shades of red some you can see thru into the nail bed more than other some are cut in a angle. She also cut my right thumb. I was so dissatisfied with my service. I still paid and tipped just cuz I know she at least cleaned my cuticles but if it wasn't for that I wouldn't have tipped her.
