Ordered a simple sandwich and was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes. Got there 5 minutes early and told them my order number and the guy just walked away without saying anything. Sat there for 20 minutes more and finally went up to the counter and asked what was taking so long (6 others walked in with order #'s higher than mine) and they asked what I ordered. I told them and they went to the back and came back with my barely warm and soggy steak sub saying "oh, it was just sitting back there". Then they told me it was $10.85 and I gave them $20.83 because that's all the loose change I had. Rather than give me a ten back they gave me exact change and acted shitty when I said I wasn't leaving a tip. Will not go there again and would not recommend. The food was ridiculously overcharged, the prices advertised online were inaccurate, the cashier with black hair seemed rude, and the food was not that great, pricing is ridiculous would recommend going elsewhere as there are much better and much cheaper better quality pizza I can make at home for far cheaper that is way better, with less preservatives. The service was fast , but the food was so so I can make a much better pizza for less money at home. Pricing was advertised online as lower when it was actually higher. I usually get good service at Milano's. Went there last night and got some very dirty silverware. I went to the counter and requested 2 more sets. The young man was very nice and apologized for it. I asked him to speak with the dish washer. He did and I got a dirty look. Ok, I then went to find a manager. I ask a man for help. He said" what can I do. I said I need a manager. He was very rude and never said he was the manager. I said what the problem was and he said" what's the matter and it was being handled. Wow. Rude. I took a picture of our silverware prior to giving it back. I called today and asked for the owner. He said that he could help me. Wrong answer. So now I've sent a picture to the Milford board of health. There is food practical all over it. I felt that the manager showed no care for the problem. Food was good. Great subs. They don't skimp on anything! They are always busy but we have never waited very long. They do a big takeout business. They offer a senior discount. This has to be, with out a doubt, my favorite place to get subs in all of new hampshire, their pizza is pretty ok, but as is the case with every greek owned pizza and sub shop, the safe bet is on the subs. There are nothing at all like them anywhere in this state, When I go in, they're always busy, but friendly and nice no matter how swamped they are, always polite and quick to get your order to you, but not so quick that its not properly cooked. Their wings and onion rings are almost as good as their subs are. Parking can be abit of an adventure at times, but not enough to detract from what makes the place worth going too. Awesome pizza here! My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza. A pizza "chef" name Dana there makes it perfect!!! The wings here too are great! For those who drink, they sell beer and wine (I don't really drink, but those who seek for this feature at pizza shops, I figure I mention). We have been here several times over the past year. Pizza and fries is usually what we get. I am very picky about my pizza and this is a pizza shop I will actually eat pizza from!! A good ratio of cheese and sauce and not to much grease! The last trip here with the family, B and I split a Steak and Cheese sub. The sub was a good size and plenty for both of us. The roll was toasted (which is always a nice touch especially when you don't even have to ask!) It had a fair amount of cheese but I am high maintenance and would have liked a little bit more, although it looked like maybe most the the cheese was on B's side (I noticed when he put it down for a minute!) the steak was good and I did not get any hard chewy pieces which is always a bonus!! We went to eat at Milano and ordered a mushroom calzone and the chicken parmigiana. The calzone was fantastic. They make it circular instead of folded over, and it was full of cheese, mushrooms, and a pizza sauce. Gold brown on the outside and still fluffy, not baked crisp. However, we soon learned that Milano is a Greek-Italian restaurant, because the parmigiana was nothing like what we expected. It was a huge mound of noodles, with big chucks of tender chicken, covered in marinara sauce and melted cheese over the top. The marinara sauce has a clover taste that you don't get at an Italian restaurant. We decided to take parmigiana back. The manager apologized and told us that they would make it up to us. We went back in to get a pizza about a week later (figuring that the pizza would be as good as the calzone). It was! We loved it and will be back for more. read more
