Outstanding Customer Service That Builds Lifetime Loyalty I need to share an experience that perfectly demonstrates what exceptional customer service looks like. I placed a delivery order with Brickhouse tonight. The hostess was incredibly sweet and professional taking my order, and payment was processed without issue. Shortly after, I missed a call from the restaurant--they were calling to let me know they don't actually offer delivery and the order was taken in error. Here's where it gets remarkable: By the time I called back, they had already decided to personally deliver my order anyway to honor the commitment and avoid inconveniencing us. This wasn't about convenience for me (normally I would have just driven over to pick it up), but my car is currently out of commission. And here's the part that truly stands out: Perry, the owner himself, personally delivered our order. Not a staff member. Not a manager. The owner took time out of his evening to make sure we were taken care of. What impresses me most is that they didn't have to do this. They could have simply refunded the order and apologized. Instead, Perry chose to go above and beyond--not because they offer delivery service (they don't), but because he valued the customer relationship and his word. This review isn't about the food. This review isn't about delivery service (because they don't deliver--and that's perfectly fine). This is about a restaurant owner who understands customer service, integrity, and building loyalty at a fundamental level. Downstairs as you enter has a nice vibe going on, all the tables and bar were occupied so we were seated upstairs; pretty bland compared to the main area with little to attract diners, and pale green walls that don't feel "restauranty". The pizza was absolutely delicious: the white cheese one was cooked well, crispy bottom and very cheesy: I ate the whole 12" size - minus a stolen slice. The specialty pizza had peppers and pepperoni, ham, sauce ..looked delicious and my friends really enjoyed it. Service was fine and our server came up to check on us and our drinks; the Monster Mash was my go to while the others had beers. When I'm back for another visit to the Brickhouse is on the go-to list! read more

3.5 stars. Street parking. Plenty of room. Good for large parties. 3.5 stars as food came out lukewarm including the chowder which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Honey BBQ tenders were very good but literally came with one carrot stick and one piece of celery. I found that very bizarre. Cheeseburger had nice grill flavor. Saturday Night, very busy.We walked in probably waited not even 10 minutes, we had Lauren for our server and she was great and we had drinks and dinner on our table in no time, especially being how busy it was. We were visiting our daughter and our grandkids up in Milford, New Hampshire. We decided we would go out for a quiet lunch in the Milford Center. My daughter suggested the Brickhouse restaurant. It was raining and we were able to park right in the front of the restaurant! There's plenty of parking on the street. As we entered, there was a beautiful wooden bar and plenty of tables. We chose one close to the window. Our waitress, Kelsey, was so friendly and was very helpful with the menu. We ordered two beers and a coke. The IPA beers were in frosted glasses and were delicious. The girls ordered appetizers: chicken wings, spring rolls and dumplings. They were hot and we loved them with the drinks. We started eating because we were hungry and they smelled great. Some of the photos show smaller portions, because we ate some of the appetizers. Like I said, the appetizers were delicious! We couldn't wait! My daughter and I ordered the deluxe hamburgers, which include cheese, tomato, lettuce and French fries. They were cooked to order and were excellent! My wife ate the appetizers and Italian wedding soup and was full. We all said she eats like a bird . She said our hamburgers smelled so appetizing. We had a great lunch, great conversation and an excellent wait serve. We were not rushed at all, which made our lunch wonderful and very relaxed. If you are in the southern part of New Hampshire in the town of Milford, please try the Brickhouse restaurant. The food, the drinks, the wait serve and the atmosphere are excellent. I loved that they had rooftop dining! Lots of different kinda of brew to try. Their summer menu was good. I got the lobster roll and it was very good. Lots of chunky lobster on a nice toasted, buttery roll. Not incredibly flavorful but very good. The staff there were all very nice. Service from Erika was great!! Loved her. A good place we haven't been in a long while. Seated quickly, temperature inside was nice for me, slightly cool for my wife and daughter. Granddaughters stayed busy with crayons and kid's menu. Our servings were very generous, with leftovers to take home. Fried shrimp was great, deveined, tail off, lightly breaded. Chicken parm hand held was a foot long with great onion rings. Cranberry & walnut salad was huge. Grandkids had Mac 'n cheese and spaghetti and big meatball. Bread brought Bettye meal was warm with garlic flavor olive oil. We went here tonight for dinner - party of 9! We had family visiting from out of town and wanted a casual dinner! The food was ok- not great, not awful, just ok! The service was terrible! Three Of the people at our table didn't get the drinks they ordered! We had to ask multiple times for those as well as for ketchup for the kids! Food took a long time! My husband asked for soup before the meal and that didn't happen! We were never asked if we wanted another drink - not even water! We asked for our check more than once! It was really a mess! Waited to be seated , 6 minutes , finally the girl came and said another 5 minutes or we can seat ourselves at the bar. So we sat at a table at the bar. We ordered our drinks, they were good and didn't take too long even though the bartender was busy. She took our order. The mozzarella sticks came out in an ok amount of time. They were not hot hot and tasted just like frozen mozzarella sticks. Our food however took forever. His calzone came out before my sandwich. There are no sides by the way. The price is for just your sandwich. Hour and 15 for a sandwich. And there was barely any chicken inside- mostly lettuce, tomato and a very sugary buffalo sauce. I was driving through Milford on my way back to Massachusetts and stopped at the Brickhouse for lunch. I'd never eaten there before. I had their clam chowder and it was the best clam chowder I've had in a long while - and I'm comparing Brickhouse's clam chowder to chowders at restaurants and clam shacks on the New England seashore! What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the service was top notch. The owner even made me a drink personally and honestly, it was the best I've ever had. You can really tell they care about every detail here. The food was just as impressive. The brick oven pizza was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and had that amazing crisp you only get from a real wood-fired oven. We frequent the Brickhouse weekly. Their pizza is the closest to NYC style we have found in NH since moving here 9 years ago. Parking on "the oval" is a challenge, however, after hours the TD bank lot is behind the restaurant. There is also a back entrance to the restaurant. read more

Visited on a Friday night. The first visit since the new name/ownership. Customer traffic was average around 7-8 pm. Service was slow during the entire visit. Overall quality of the pizza was average at best. The unexpected surprise occurred a few days later when our credit card company flagged the transaction, because the tip was more than twice the amount of the bill. Okay here's the good - our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I certainly can't fault her for the quality of the food. Their "bread service" for $2 is ridiculous. First for the charge, but then to be charged for what we received - a dipping oil which consisted of olive oil in a plastic cup with two chunks of whole garlic in it, not roasted garlic, just raw pieces of garlic and almost no herbs. See the picture. It's laughable. The Buffalo chicken Rangoon are frozen apps that were just okay but $13.99 for 6 mediocre pieces is outrageous. Our food arrived like 3 minutes after our apps arrived and when I commented to the person delivering the food, she just ignored my comment and then walked off, leaving empty plates and glasses on the table so we were juggling.empty and in-use dishes. I don't even know where to begin with the prime rib that two of us ordered. It was a decent sized piece, but was absolutely flavorless. Zero crust of any kind. They could have boiled it and the flavor would have been the same. The Au Jus was equally flavorless. It was also more like medium rather than the medium rare we ordered. We asked for baked potatoes instead of mashed potatoes but we weren't advised of $1.50 up charge for that (NOT loaded, just butter and sour cream). The potato itself was the blandest baked potato I've ever seen. They didn't put any salt or oil or anything on the skin. It was insulting to be charged an extra $1.50 for that. We were also offered asparagus instead of broccoli which we decided to order. I expected it would be an up charge but the charge was $2 and we literally received four pieces of asparagus. Again, zero seasoning. Just four lame pieces of steamed asparagus - no oil, no salt or pepper, no seasoning, no flavor. At least roast it for gods sake. What a waste of fresh asparagus. I was in the process of saying something to the waitress when one of my kids needed to be done so I just asked for the check and boxes and we left. A huge waste of $125 (I did tip the waitress decently because again, it's not her fault for the food quality). I really wanted to like this place because I really want to support a local guy trying to rebrand that restaurant, but this was not good at all. I don't foresee going back any time soon. read more

Went here a few night ago for a ladies night. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive and was able to memorize about 20 orders! I wish I could remember her name but I hope I get her as a waitress again. Very helpful. We sat upstairs due to the large party. Nice atmosphere , just a tad chilly. I got their steak tips and OMG they were so good. I also had the Cheesecake with chocolate drizzle-YUMMY! Everyone else's meal looked good. A few people got the salmon and said it was delicious. I just hope they bring back the turkey tips. As for people complaining about the lack of beer, they are still working on it. Definitely going back. Pretty much agree with the other reviews, seriously, WHY do I have to ask repeatedly for silverware and napkins AFTER food was delivered, no IPA beers, sold out??? You're a f:($&@ brew pub, go down to market basket and buy a couple of cases of IPAs. Dirty glasses (lipstick on rim) Used to deal with the pasta loft cause the pizza was pretty good, and the pizza was still good, but the rest of the issues......I hope the new owner is listening otherwise he'll soon be the next previous owner read more

Never go back. Poor service. Waited a long time for a waitress to greet us and ask for water. Order steak tip dinner with no rice and broccoli instead got loaded baked potato. The person I was with was surprised at the waitress was dressed with a low-cut shirt on with her breast hanging out we thought that was very uncalled for and not very professional. went to the Brickhouse today,June ,29th ordered a cobb salad and you could add meat for an extra charge. Got no meat so they screwed that up. They didn't have the beer I wanted but it was still on the men. My aunt ordered chicken Alfredo the broccoli was old and the Alfredo sauce tasted funny. The ambience was terrible very loud. I'm not from Milford so I won't go there again. I just visiting but my aunt lives here and she won't be back. They took a whole beer off of are bill should have taken my aunts meal off bill.
