My brow artist was Ava , I expressed that I wanted them to be as thick as can be even if bald spots show because from the past I know once I get the lami the brows look good and I can still grow them in without having to look crazy . She proceeded to map my brows and immediately started threading without giving me a mirror and asking me for approval of the shape . So I had to stop her and ask if I could see before she continues threading and by then it was already too late .. all the hair that I'd been attempting to grow back was gone and my brow was back to looking thinner than my natural shape . I began to tell to just stop I don't want the service anymore . Lord knows how long it will take to grow back my brows it's been about 6 months since I started the growing process . By brows are naturally super thick and I wish she was more trained to know that u do not remove any hair before asking the client if they are satisfied with the shape first ! If there was a rating less than 1 star I would give them that . Super upset and she didn't even offer a discount for my lip wax .

What I have an issue with is their communication. I had an appointment booked today and even received a email to confirm 2 days before which I responded to immediately. To my surprise, when I show up to my appointment, the receptionist tells me the sugarist wasn't there and they tried to call me to reschedule my appointment. I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them.The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

It is as if she took the words right out of my mouth " The staff is friendly but I just hate that the receptionist is always trying to push an offer on me - once is expected because you are trying to sell but after I told you no three times she should just stop.... I understand she is doing her job but I actually look forward for another customer to walk in so she can stop trying to sell to me and attend someone else and try to sell to them." I remember coming here twice and the receptionist attacking me with constant offers, i kind of felt the need to take a deep breath.. .. another thing is that their way of promoting their products is really kind of rude and unnecessary, i cant remember how many times I've been told .. almost begged to get a facial from them so that my acne can go away, this is one thing that stops me from going is that they constantly sit their and point out every flaw in your face. i really wish they would stop because from what I've read in the reviews I'm not the only one ! I got my eyelashes done here about two weeks ago and I liked how they looked and everything but I tired to get an appointment to get a new set and they can only do lashes on Monday and Tuesday! So I went somewhere else to get a new set and as the lady was taking off my lashes she ask why they had put so much glue and why was it so thick on my lashes. It look about 45 minutes to get the old set of because of the glue. Make sure u pay attention to how glue they are using. read more
