Mila's is an unexpected treat in downtown Plymouth. The shop is small with 8 or so tables. I was welcomed as I entered and ordered at the counter. The server was super friendly and attentive during my visit. I was looking for a light lunch. I ordered 2 chicken tacos and added avocado. I also order fresh pico with chips. Prices are very reasonable. The food comes out quickly. The tortillas are thick with great fresh corn flavor. The tacos were delicious with perfectly ripe buttery avocado, fresh cilantro and onion. The sauces added great spice. The pico was FRESH and delicious. I loved my lunch. So good. The chips are fresh without a bunch of salt. They have a small grocery. There is limited parking. I have always loved Mila's, but hadn't been back since they changed owners. Went in for an easy thing, to buy marinated meat to cook at home. Have done it countless times before. They were busier than usual, but only had one person handling all of the tables and the register. I asked for three pounds of meat. Usually takes about 1 minute. I paid $45 and was told to wait. No problem. 40 minutes later... "sorry about the wait." I love Mila's but will find another option going forward. Not going back. read more

Mila's is certainly the place to go in Plymouth when you're wanting a fantastic taco with quality ingredients at a great price. The restaurant has really evolved into a nice place to sit down and have lunch or dinner. The service is always spectacular and food is made fresh when ordered, but there isn't a long wait. Whew! We vacaat a family cottage in Plymouth every year, and always look forward to Mila's incredible tacos and Agua frescas. Last year we learned the owners were selling, but they were giving their recipes to the new owner. Well, the new owner has learned well, because the food is exactly the same, just as delicious as ever! The pulled pork and steak tacos were especially great, and the Agua Frescas and horchata are divine. I can't imagine there's a better restaurant in Plymouth than this one. read more

We were just passing by while on a road trip and we were looking for some tacos. This place did not disappoint! Not only were the tacos delicious and fresh... the horchata and the hot chocolate were also dynamite! We had the pastor, which was juicy and sweet and I loved the chorizo, but how can you really mess that up? I am a huge fan of the salsa verde and we took a little container home with us. We loved the hot chocolate so much that we bought a package of the mix and asked them what the secret was, to make it taste so good. (They told us the secret, but you'll have to go there to ask them yourself.) The owners/chefs were kind and sociable and my wife was able to practice her Spanish with them. The market itself was stocked full of classic ingredients that you may find difficult in other big chain stores, so if you're cooking Mexican/Latin inspired cuisine, you need to see what they have in stock. This is a family owned and operated place. Mom and Dad, son, daughter, and in-laws. The food is outstanding and well presented. Thought and time have seamlessly created complex flavors that are as unique as they are mouth watering. The salsa looks simple, but is delicious. The red has some kick, not overpowering. The green / yellow is a perfect compliment to their rice in my humble opinion. Their garlic shrimp, quite a pretty dish and a real gem. Their tacos, I can't pick a favorite between the steak, chicken or pork. Everyone is different, so try them all and I feel you can't go wrong. The tortas and burritos are possibly even better, which I'm not sure I've ever said before. The staff, attentive and pleasant as can be and on a first name basis with many. They served a steady stream of customers there for takeout, tables were full and limited in number. This isn't a Tex-Mex joint for parties of twenty, but an authentic masterpiece for those wanting a taste of Mexico in a small but close knit environment. Well done family, VERY well done. The prices for their dry goods and vegetables seem to be fair. The kitchen is not visible from the market and you order your hot food from the register used to purchase grocery items. Just stopped in to Mila's on my way through to Indy. We live in Goshen and have some family in the south of the state. My wife and I and our son dined at the mini market. It was wonderful! Excellent little market/restaurant in downtown Plymouth. I was in town for work and this spot was recommended, and I can see why! Delicious fresh-made guacamole and pico de gallo. I had three tacos (beef tongue, saucy beef, and a chicken) and they were all excellent, but I enjoyed the tongue the most. The side of onions/peppers was also very flavorful. The real deal! I was in town with a coworker for a work event and found Mila's on yelp. They close at 8pm but unlocked the door for us at 8:15pm. Excellent service and the girl at the counter was super friendly and explained the various orders. It is a taqueria with a small, but well stocked Mexican grocery store. There are about four wooden tables with chairs for dining in, but I assume most of their business is take out. Had a beef burrito and a piece of my coworker's quesadilla. Both were excellent. The place has a cool vibe and everyone was super friendly. I highly recommend. read more
