Unfortunately, about three weeks after purchasing it, everything seemed to go downhill. We started noticing that the car wasn't running smoothly and eventually got to the point where we genuinely did not feel safe driving it. It was also failing to do basic things properly, which led us to contact CarShop and bring the vehicle back on Monday, July 13th. When we dropped it off, we were told, "You probably won't hear anything until Wednesday, July 15th." However, the following day we received a call from a woman telling us that our car needed to be sent to Chevy because there was a recall on it. This was extremely frustrating because NOT ONCE during the purchasing process were we informed that there was a recall involving the transmission. To our knowledge, the vehicle was sent to Chevy on either Tuesday the 14th or Wednesday the 15th. From that point forward, communication was extremely disappointing. We were never told which Chevy dealership our car was sent to, we received little to no updates unless we called ourselves, and we were given very little information about what was actually happening with our vehicle or when we could expect it back. About a week later, we called asking for an update and again received very little information. We also made sure to let them know that we would be leaving to go out of town on July 31st. We were told, "Oh, it shouldn't take any longer than two weeks." Throughout the following weeks, we called multiple times trying to get updates and continued reminding everyone we spoke with that we were leaving town. Then, on July 30th, we received a phone call saying that the rental car we had been given had been sold and needed to be replaced. They did come to us and exchange the rental, which we appreciated, but the overall situation was already frustrating considering we had been without the vehicle we had JUST purchased for over two weeks with very little communication. On the morning of July 31st, I called around 8 a.m. because I needed to get something out of our car before leaving town. Instead of simply telling us where our vehicle was located, someone was sent to go get the EZ pass for us. Again, while we appreciated them doing that, it was frustrating that we still weren't being told where our own vehicle was or what was happening with it. I specifically explained that we would not be home after 12 noon that day and that if the vehicle was finished after that point, it would have to sit there for over a week until we returned. After weeks of waiting and calling for updates, we received a call around 4 p.m. THAT SAME DAY saying the vehicle was finally finished. We also later found out that additional issues occurred while the vehicle was being repaired, which we were not informed about until after the fact when WE OURSELVES read the maintenance reports. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. We understand that recalls and repairs happen, and some things may be outside of CarShop's control. However, communication and transparency are absolutely within their control. We should have been informed about the recall from the beginning, told where our vehicle was being sent, updated throughout the repair process, and notified about additional issues as they happened. After having such a positive experience initially, we are extremely disappointed with how everything was handled once problems arose with the vehicle.

Lack of Transparency, Disrespectful and Unprofessional. That's all I have to say about Tao. I brought my car in for a simple job: Replace the AF sensor (B1S1) to pass emissions, complete the inspection, and check a loose bracket near the rear wheel. I clearly explained the order of work. However, the wrong sensor was ordered, and the emissions test was performed before replacing it - resulting in a failure that COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. I had to comeback for re-inspection after replacing the sensor (about 200 miles running). Instead of addressing my original concerns, I was presented with additional costly issues (axle, brake caliber, spark plugs). This was confusing, as I had recently passed a PA enhanced inspection at another shop, and none of these issues were mentioned. I also double checked my maintenance paperwork at Lexus Dealer, my spark plugs were replaced at around 142,000 miles (current mileage ~183,000), which is within their normal lifespan. The spark plugs will usually last for 80,000-100,000 miles. A second shop confirmed there was no issue with them - a full diagnostic were performed. Moreover, the loose bracket, which is the first thing I asked him repaired, was NEVER FIXED. I don't think he did even pay attention to it. Communication was poor throughout. Calls and emails were not returned, and updates were unclear. When I asked for clarification about the new findings, in-person, the response felt dismissive and unprofessional rather than helpful with: "I can't say anything about other shops doing", "Do you trust me?", "Do you want to do it or not?". For the re-inspection (even with an appointment), I had to wait about 2 hours. After reviewing other 1-star feedback, it appears this may be a pattern - customers come in for a simple service but are advised to complete additional, costly repairs without clear explanation. I understand businesses need to make money, but customers deserve transparency, proper communication, and respect. At minimum, the original concerns should be addressed clearly before introducing new issues. Overall, I felt pressured into unnecessary repairs without sufficient explanation. I would recommend BE CAREFUL and NOT FALLING ON low inspection prices or some "good" high/five start ratings.

My next door neighbor just had the same problem with his E500 and when the tow company(not Garzonys) pulled the car on to the flat bed, contact with the ground ripped off the front clip including the front bumper cover. Donny assured us he could tow the car with no damage whatsoever. That's exactly what he did. Meticulous and very professionally done. Not a scratch. I actually have AAA, but opted to have Garzonys complete the tow at my cost because my prior experience with their towing service has been very satisfying and my son cherishes this car. I had it towed here a year ago and the initial diagnosis was that I needed to replace the timing chain... $4k job. I OK'd the work and received a call when the parts came in. While prepping to do the tear down, the team found a loose ground cable. Instead of proceeding with the job and capitalizing on the customer, they verified that the cable was the issue and told me to come get the car. No charge. When I went to pick up the car the shop owner and his mother were just the loveliest people and gave us a tour of the shop and shared some great family stories with us. I left them "beer money" as a thanks for being honest and we went on our way. Needless to say, I ended up spending the $4k and taking the BMW back there to have the timing chain fixed as preventative maintenance and will continue to take our BMW there in the future.
