After having a not-so-great experience with the Pho in Boulder, my friends and I were a little worried about giving the Vietnamese food scene in Colorado another chance. This restaurant is located next to the Great Wall Supermarket so there's plenty of space for parking as well as an opportunity to do some grocery shopping :) My friends and I ordered the following: - Cafe Su Da After a long night of going out, this was a great way to wake us up haha. It was definitely on the sweeter side but the dark-roast coffee flavor was still there! - Goi Cuon Tom Thit The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut dipping sauce was nice and salty. - Pho Tai, Nam, Sach The soup/broth was hot, savory, and flavorful- definitely helped revive my friends and I. The noodles and meat were good. The only thing I wish they did differently is the amount of tripe they provided- there was maybe a couple small strands but that was it. Aside from that, I really appreciate how they provided the Nuoc Beo which enhanced the savory flavor of the broth! Overall, I'm glad we got to try some good Vietnamese food in Colorado! Great pho if you're looking to satisfy your craving. We are used to very authentic pho coming from the Bay Area, so this was a good find for us. Shrimp spring rolls were really good and the bun bo hue was okay. It was a little more on the bland side but still had a subtle bun bo hue taste. What we swallowed: *CRISPY FLAT RICE NOODLES WITH VEGGIES: I saw this walking out our last visit and been wanting to try. The sauce was good and the noodles were crispy. Fresh veggies. The quality of food is decent and service is friendly. One special note is that once we are seated, within 3 seconds the staff already asked if we are ready to order which is nice that they are attentive but I suggest to give the customers couple minutes to look over the menu as asking the customers to order that quickly could make one feel pressured. We ordered their pho combination, friend egg rolls and spring rolls. The only issue with the spring roll is that the rice skin was a bit think and my mom could not chew the rice skin so she could only finish the ingredients inside of the spring rolls. This place was pretty darn good. Nothing to rave about but the bowl hit the Pho spot. I came in to dine after my first day of a new job in Broomfield. It was 96° outside but I decided I wanted a bowl of Pho. I chose the small Pho bowl with rare steak, tripe, and fish balls on the side. The fish balls were not what I was used to. They were brown instead of the usual white but they were tasty. I also wanted a plate of Vietnamese eggrolls to go, but they were all out of eggrolls. I've never experienced this at any Vietnamese restaurant, so that's why I lowered the score. The service was good. The server was nice and, the food came quickly. The restaurant was air-conditioned very well which was nice while eating the extremely hot bowl . I would definitely come back and try a different bowl of Pho or one of their rice dishes. read more

I moved here twenty years ago from California. Pho Duy by far is One of the best Vietnamese restaurant you will ever find in Colorado. My daughter love the Bo Ne steak and their beef shakes and bake. When you first enter, it smells really good. The service is quick and friendly. The com bo nuong was good. It was tasty however it was missing a fried egg and some pickled radishes and carrots. I've visited this restaurant on and off for the last 20+ years! They really do have the best pho in Colorado!!! Unfortunately, on my last visit I spotted a sign that said they charge an extra 3% fee for credit card transactions... I know this went into play for quite a few businesses during the pandemic. I pointed it out, and said I'd pay in cash. Well guess what?! They still charged me the extra 3% even though I paid in cash! Sadly, this caused me to take an extra 3% out of their tip. The avocado smoothie was delicious however my boba was inconsistent in texture...I would skip on the boba next time and maybe the drink all together since it was on the pricier side. The broth was overly sweet, not from simmered beef bones but highly likely from MSG, and lacked the depth I expect from good phở. There was also a credit card fee added without notice. I treated myself to Pho Duy for lunch today and it was amazing! They actually have a pretty big menu and I want to come back and try more things. The inside was spacious and not too crowded for lunch. I ordered a salty soda limeade and it was delicious! It's a sweet/savory/bubbly drink with bits of preserved limes. If you've never had Vietnamese salty limeade or lemonade, I highly recommend this refreshing drink. The pho comes in 3 sizes (small, medium, and large) and there are many meat options. They do offer vegetarian/tofu, chicken, and shrimp pho. There's even a Kobe beef meat option that I'd love to try next time! There's a big vegetarian section on the menu that's easy to find.
