I've been here before and always had a good experience. Sadly, last night that didn't happen. Some friends and I went out for the Iron Horse Tap Takeover and from the very beginning it was a service-free experience. It wasn't busy when we arrived, so I can't even give them the benefit of the doubt that it was just being busy and understaffed. Our food was great and Ashley from Iron Horse was wonderful. However, David, our server was not. From the moment he sat us, by walking us to the table and tossing down our menus without even talking to us, until we left he was a nightmare. He literally said all of twenty words to us the entire time (we never knew if we were going to get what we ordered because he didn't even acknowledge us when we spoke) and never once smiled. He even, very obviously, flipped my friend off as he walked away from the table once because we waited for him to arrive before we ordered and then he decided he didn't want food. The only time he even seemed to have a hint of caring we were there or treated us civil- not friendly, civil- was when he dropped off the check. I have never been treated so poorly or rude in an establishment and it was very disappointing because this was both of my friends first experience here and it was terrible one. We visit fairly regularly and always find good food and drink! Cashmere is lucky to have them in our town. The variety of beer and such is pretty amazing! read more

The quinoa salad was gross. The quinoa was under cooked and slimy. The service was also terrible.

After reading the most recent reviews we were going to skip it. But we were glad we went. The burgers were great service was really fast and we love the outdoor patio. Great selection of beer and a cider or two. read more

We came here on a Saturday night to have dinner with brother and sister-in-law. Came from Wenatchee for a bit of a change and because we had heard good things, but never been. When we arrived (before our dinner companions), a musician had just started playing guitar and singing outside. The music was amplified so loudly that we could not even hear or be heard by our server, and the musician was NOT good. It was painful! Within the few minutes we sat waiting for our dinner companions, we knew we could not stay. The overly loud, painfully executed music was going to drive us mad. The server seemed apologetic and suggested we move inside where it might be slightly less obnoxious, but the inside seating seemed a bit rundown and was not actually any quieter due to all of the hangar doors being open. Plus, it's spring in a beautiful part of the world...who wants to sit inside when there is outside seating available? We left without even ordering drinks. Took our party back to Wenatchee for an enjoyable dining experience. read more

We were invited to a 50th birthday celebration in their room for parties. Hot wings and veggies and chips and salsa, flatbread and humis were provided by the host of the party. We arrived thinking we could place an order for a burger or something which we would pay for ourselves. The waitress told us if we wanted to eat a meal, we would have to go into the dining room area. OK, so we went to place an order to bring the burger back into the party room, willing to pay for it, even have it as a "to go" meal. Nope, the owner came out and said no. If she let us do it, other people at the party would do it and it would be too hard on their kitchen help. What? She did allow a mother to order something for her son, but any other food, no. What a way to do business! Totally shocked. Poor way to run a business. I won't go back. read more

The Milepost Burger is awesome and I love that they use local cheese, good local meat, and buns from a bakery nearby. For the price of a standard burger at Applebes or Red Robin, you actually get something high-quality and fresh. The beer selection is the best I have found in the region. read more

Great lunch and excellent service from Madison! Tons of variety of local PNW beers and their own IPA was delicious.

Decent food and I love the location and theme of the restaurant. My biggest complaint is the service. No matter what time of day, or how big your party, or what you are getting to eat, the service is always incredibly slow. I live right down the street in cashmere and have been there several times and have waited for my food and for my drinks for an extremely long time on ALL accounts. Big disappointment. read more

My husband & I stopped here for the first time on 8/8/13. We sat outside and at the time it had finally cooled down. We were only there for beer & dessert. Small disappointment that the Brewing Co didn't have any of their own beer??? Plus, we did not get a beer menu. Our kids got coloring and water right away which is a bug plus for us! Our server was friendly, but did take a bit to get to us. We wanted the berry cobbler dessert for my birthday, but they were out. Very disappointing, but we tried the apple turnover. It was alright, but very rich. They had entertainment in the form of 2 singers, The Fry's. They were GREAT! My daughter actually sat still in her chair and watched the whole time once Mrs. Fry started singing. Another plus for my husband and myself. Then as we got the check our server told us our dessert was on the house for my birthday. I thought this was very sweet & we appreciated it. I would definitely recommend going. I'm always looking for interesting small breweries to fill my growler and stopped by here on my way to Leavenworth. First off, the beer selection of other local micro brews is amazing for a small town but was disappointed to learn there was no Milepost 111 beer on tap. I asked my server if they would be pouring any soon and she said it was "hit or miss". That being said, this is more of a brewpub than a brewery but I would return for the beer variety alone and would hope to be lucky enough to sample one of their beers. read more

Just had one of the best burgers here of my 58 burger eating years. Started with an amazing Rendezvous Porter from The Old Schoolhouse Brewery in Winthrop WA. Followed this up with a Bacon Blue Cheese burger! The combination of blue cheese, mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomato, some kind of wonderful sauce and Mikes free range beef was over the top. The burger comes with their famous truffle fries. I topped this all off with a decadent cherry crisp. It was incredible! The staff was friendly and efficient. A great meal. read more

Being a local and lived here my while life I have never been more disappointed in a local business. Go there to have dinner with friends and they tell us they are closed when the hours right on the door say open until 9pm. Last time I checked if the door is unlocked and the hours say you don't close you are open. It was well before closing time and there were obvious signs the closing list was started way too early. Working in the restaurant industry myself there are certain things that can be done before closing buy I also know you should never turn down business, especially well before the closing time. Needless to say I will not be back and will be taking my business from now on down the road where there were more than willing to be of service and take out money. read more

I thought that waiting a day to review our latest visit would help but it didn't. It was horrible! First we sat in the new deck out on the Wenatchee river. Note to Ownership/MGT. This is NCW, Get water misters or you will never have anybody on the deck. Also, They make electronics now that can transmit a bar or dinner order to the restaurant instead of having the staff walking 30 to 40 yards each way. Heck a can and string would be an improvement. The appetizers we ordered for everyone took over 45 mins/Hr to get except mine which was just a shrimp cocktail and they had to thaw from the freezer and nuke it, and the owner had the gall to tell me that everyone in my party ate their appetizers and they had to cook mine. REALLY?. Never had a bland hot shrimp in a shrimp cocktail before. Was very untasteful.Could not get bar orders in any time, had to go straight to the bar to get drinks. The owner told me that after 7 months in business that they hadn't gotten the kinks out. Really? I don't fault our wait person, obviously the place needs a mgt change. If the owners cannot do that they should bring someone in who can. Oh one last thing, Whats up with the spray cheese on the nacho's? They make cheese in its natural state now and it melts. read more
