This school seems very advanced and up to date with their teachings and their technology. Since attending this school, I've noticed my child is a bit more advanced on the academic side compared to her other peers that go to regular in person public schools. Nothing against public schools, this school just works out for us as a family. This school uses real life scenarios in their quarterly projects. For example, they need to research about their dream vacation and how much it cost in real time and create a budget, etc. Surprisingly, as parents, after realizing her dream vacation was definitely more doable budget wise, we were able to actually take her on that dream vacation in less than a year's time. It not only teaches the students, but every assignment and project teaches us as parents as well. We highly recommend this charter school.

My middle school-age daughter really enjoyed going, and we loved the small class sizes. She went her entire 6th-grade year with no issues. I was the President of the PTO and spent hours of my own time and hundreds of dollars to support the school. This year, she had a few minor issues related to her autism and tic disorder come up that were completely blown out of proportion, and within a month she ended up being kicked out. She was not a bully and not violent. They did very little to work with her, and when we requested supports and accommodations they were refused. We have a pending discrimination case open with the state of Nevada and will be filing a complaint with the Nevada Department of Education. We are devastated with how this was handled. Though they claim to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, this was not the case with us and it has happened to other families as well. Be wary of this school!

The halls are set up so that multiple wheelchairs can move throughout the halls with ease. The kids range in age from 3-22 and they are some of the kindest humans you'll ever meet. The staff is amazing, they all care so much for the students and they would do anything to make their days at school worth it. The building is so bright and open, so much natural light you don't really need artificial lights in the halls. The health office looks like a mini ER with multiple full-time nurses who preform multiple procedures throughout the day. The front office staff is super friendly and kind, they love what they do. As you walk in the school they have a saying up on the wall and it says, "All Children Can Learn," and that is 1000% true. If I had a child who was medically fragile I'd want them to be here.

For example, my boys are obsessed with superheros, so once a month, Clubhouse has a Superhero Day just for them where all the students (and even the staff) wear superhero costumes. Whatever it takes to make learning fun. My boys had speech and motor skill delays and it is so exciting to see the progress. We celebrate every milestone. I love and admire the Clubhouse staff. Their team has been so supportive--developing real methods that help improve his behavior with peers and children. It's truly exhilarating to see how far he's come in such a short time. They treat my son with so much care, that I've made the commitment to keep him in Reset Behavior ABA full-time, even alongside his public-school program. As an autism parent, I can honestly say that Reset Behavior has gone above and beyond--teaching me about the laws and how to advocate effectively for my child's needs. The class was organized, communicative, and I felt so at ease knowing my baby was in their hands. Now he is in the Ducklings with Ms Alyssa and I can't say enough positive things about her and her teaching style. My child is somewhat awkward like most preteens and has been hurt by the very unkind words of peers. Always the teacher involves the vice principle who speaks to both students and follows up with me afterward. Administration leaves classroom issues to the teachers at Coral and if they do address a situation they do not attempt to notify the student victim or their parent to "protect the other family's privacy." The teachers that we had at both schools were GREAT (6th grade teachers at Coral and 7th grade teachers at Pinecrest.) No complaints there. Administration is more communicative and helpful at Pinecrest.

Without warning or any prior discussion with me, the director expelled him, effective immediately. This was a grave breach of ethics. I was not able, at that time, to respond, as I was simply trying to survive. If I were in the position I am today, I would have pursued legal action. I now share this to caution other parents: this school's policies and ethics do not prioritize the best interests of their students and can cause real harm.
