There's a level of care and awareness here that goes beyond curriculum and shows up in how students are supported day to day. The environment feels calm, respectful, and focused. Communication has been clear and consistent, and when questions or needs arise, the team is responsive and thoughtful in how they handle them. What I appreciate most is that the school recognizes that students don't all learn or grow in the same way. There's flexibility and understanding built into the structure, which allows students to stay engaged without feeling pressured into a one-size-fits-all system. Overall, Journey Education feels like a place where students are seen, supported, and given the space to develop at their own pace. We've been grateful for the experience. The small class sizes make a huge difference because every child really gets individual attention and support. The teachers truly care about the students and are very involved in helping them grow both academically and personally. One thing I really appreciate about the school is the strong sense of community. The staff is welcoming, communication with parents is great, and it genuinely feels like the teachers and administrators are invested in each child's success. My son has built confidence, strong friendships, and a love for learning during his time here. Journey also does a great job of focusing on character, kindness, and leadership, not just academics. It's a safe, supportive environment where kids can really thrive. I'm very grateful we found this school and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing and academically strong place for their children.

My son has been attending…read moresince he was just under two years old, and the experience has been such a blessing for our family. What really sets this school apart is the staff. They aren't just there to teach; they genuinely care about the students' overall growth as human beings. They truly live out their motto of building "disciples, scholars, and leaders." We are so grateful to daily send our son to a place where a child's spiritual growth is treated with as much importance as their academic excellence. As a parent, I've always felt like a valued member of the team. The school treats us as partners in shepherding these young minds to become responsible, educated citizens who reflect the character of Jesus. They are also incredibly proactive--whether it's maintaining high standards for social maturity or ensuring top-notch safety with secure systems and their wonderful armed security guards (who are truly a beloved part of the Cornerstone family). They not only look for ways, to make the atmosphere at the school one that kids look forward to entering into, they are always working so hard to do the right thing for the families as they uphold guidelines and high expectations for everyone in the building. They are always striving to improve and are genuinely open to parent feedback to keep everything at the highest level possible. If you are looking for a school that will pour into your child's heart and mind, I highly recommend checking out Cornerstone. We are so grateful for the foundation they've helped our son build.

In the beginning I thought it was my daughter's problem -- she just didn't want to leave me. But after talking with the headmaster, I suddenly realized: it wasn't my daughter's issue -- it was their teaching philosophy. 1. They believed my daughter couldn't control her emotions, and they expected her to -- but she's only three, her brain isn't developed for that yet. Expecting a three-year-old to "control her emotions" is like expecting a one-year-old to control her bladder -- it's a physiological development issue. And the headmaster should know that. 2. My daughter didn't know any English when we first enrolled her. Within four months she could understand all the teacher's instructions and even speak short sentences. Yet the headmaster still said she wasn't speaking "long sentences." As an early-childhood educator, she failed to recognize this progress in a child entering a completely foreign environment. 3.Once she cried so badly that the headmaster came over to comfort her, but my daughter refused to talk to the headmaster and threw herself into the arms of her teacher. The headmaster concluded that my daughter lacked the normal ability to communicate. But my daughter had only met the headmaster twice -- she was basically a stranger to her -- so when she was sobbing, she rejected the stranger and ran to the teacher she knew. To me, that is a completely normal reaction -- yet in the headmaster's eyes, it meant my daughter "couldn't communicate properly." 4.The headmaster claimed my daughter would cry loudly, scream, and stomp her feet in class. But from a very young age she never behaved that way; even in the first two months at Challenger she only cried quietly out of fear -- never screamed or stomped. Only after being moved to a different class and failing to adapt to the new teacher's methods did she show those intense reactions. She was using her own way to cry out for help -- yet the headmaster and teachers didn't see it. At home she also became moody and unreasonable. Because of what the headmaster said, we decided to withdraw her. We enrolled her in a new school, and I was worried she might not adapt -- new environment, new teachers, new friends. But after only a few scattered days of crying, she quickly grew to love school! In talks with her new teacher, I, as a parent, deeply felt the teacher's love for children, her understanding and acceptance. She treated my daughter like a child -- a real child. That's why my daughter was able to feel safe and confident so fast. Now she's been at the new school for three months, and every day she's very happy -- her English communication is no problem at all. This has only strengthened my conviction: my daughter was never the problem -- it was Challenger's teaching philosophy.

This school is wonderful. Parking and pick up can be frustrating sometimes but that's on the lazy parents who do not want to park appropriately and walk a few feet to pick up their children. The staff tho is amazing I've never had any issues or back talk or rudeness from anyone. If my kid wasn't feeling well they would call me immediately. If my kid had an issue with another child they would call me and explain the situation or I could easily text the teacher and she would handle it. One teacher I would especially love to recognize is Miss Langman. She is one of the most professional yet fun teachers around. If I was in elementary school, I would want her as my teacher and if I had a kid, I would want her as my kids teacher. She always makes it a fun experience with singing and dancing, even connecting songs and dances to lessons to help the kiddos remember, but also keeps it grounded by doing meditations and affirmations with the kids. She maintains an amazing patience with her kids and always lends a helping hand when teaching. She loves each and every kid and those kids love her. Seeing them grow up and go through different grades and still getting excited to see Miss Langman in the halls is truly heartwarming. Everyone across the school knows her for her hard work, dedication, and just in general brightness. Kids from other kindergarten classes even love coming into her room. She truly pours her heart and soul into this school and these kiddos and it shines through in everything she does each and every day. I truly cannot express enough how much of an amazing teacher she is. She makes school fun and makes the kids excited to come in everyday. Thank you Miss Langman for everything you do for this school and thank you to all the other staff as well that make this school such a great and loving environment. I wouldn't want to volunteer anywhere else!! :)
