By 1:30 I was being seen. I was immediately moved from my paperwork to different Zoom providers with ZERO waiting and AMAZING and INCREDIBLE service. In a few short hours I was home and comfortable and sparing the details, comfortable. They handled EVERY ASPECT from the reception to the follow up scheduling. I had been there ever since they changed hands/ownership. Today my faith in service, care, and support were a breath of the freshest air, that like from a spring shower. I am just overwhelmed by my experience today. The staff there are hands down the best in the business. If you need help, THEY WILL HELP YOU ASAP. I owe these people my life. I had the best results there from any business in any field of service in my life. It was the smoothest operation and I was frankly blown away. If you are suffering CALL. I am referring specifically to the Va Beach Lynnhaven office. I was so affected that in the wake of tyhe insanity of today's world this place loved me like I was their child. I am NOT exaggerating. F'ing STELLAR. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. If you hit a hiccup they will handle it. Hadn't been there in almost a year of near complete sobriety because of their hard work. When they shut down a couple of years ago we had no choice but to follow her to Meridian Psychotherapy. We have had no problems with Meridian. We are actually pretty happy with them thus far. It's a small building in Virginia Beach. I love the fact that it's more of a small homey feel vibe instead of a clinical sterile vibe. The employees at the front desk seem nice enough. Not overly friendly. I love Danielle. She really listens to our concerns and is very friendly and relatable as well. The only downside is that it's a bit further than where I live. But I'm definitely a fan so far!

I was that the office would do that. The did not order till January costing me the $200.00 plus additional charges from the supplier. When contacting the office to see why it was nort done as requested I was told by a manager by the name of "Ian", via text, that the follow up was not made and he apologized. I then requested some fiscal assistance since it was clearly their fault but his response was NO RESPONSE!. Their counselor, Sabrina, provided good support but their office staff on this occasion as well as others regarding communication is unacceptable and unprofessional. I was in the IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) for about 14 total weeks. I started virtual, then…read morelost insurance and had to put a pause on the program. When I came back I completed the full 12 week program. This is the best program by far that I have done. I have been in and out of VB psych for years, but this program has done a world of justice for me. While in the program I got help with my job options because they have an academic/vocational advisor to talk to. I also got to participate in family groups, which no other program has offered for me. My family got to come with me to learn how they can be a support, but also to dig deeper into how up bringing plays a large role into mental health and coping skills. When searching for a place to go I wanted a place where I didnt have to see their med doctor because to many cooks in the kitchen is not a good thing. Sandstone allowed me to get just what I needed, which was therapy because I have a med doctor already and a therapist; however, I needed more therapy then just individual. Never have I considered that childhood plays a vital role in my current ways of coping, and this program helped me dive into that. They have been supportive all the way. Never was I ignored or went unheard. I got individual therapy as well during this besides just group and family. The best part is after I graduate there is an alumni program. The care doesnt stop at outpatient. The care continues for support with Sandstone family through the app where there are support groups, game nights, check ins, and a community who has been there and done that. When I say Sandstone is the absolute best care I have had, I mean it. I could not express my gratitude and amazement. I have bragged about them to everyone I know. The therapists actually care and are not there for just a check. My post does not even express how much they have done for me, but its amazing that they have so many programs. Its unheard of having a young adult group, and that was perfect for me. Everything from adolescent to adult is covered here. The young adult group provided such insight for me and relativity with people my own age.

I called to make arrangements and was told that I can no longer have my appointment with my provider if I don't pay the balance in full. I tried to explain my situation and I haven't had any problems until now. So needless to say my appointment was canceled and I can no longer get medication for depression, anxiety, etc. I understand that they have a job to do and they need to collect the money. They have lost their compassion annd empathy for people who are going through troubles during this difficult time in our economy. I asked the person answering the phone to please check with the office manager and get back with me to let me know if she's willing to make any arrangements. I never got a phone call. I called back again tried to make more arrangements was told my appointment was canceled. I asked again if they could please speak with the manager give me a call back to see if there is anything we can do to work this out! No return call! I called and asked if they could get a message to the doctor because coming off of this medicine can be dangerous. I was told I'd get a return call back. Once again, no call back. It is not OK to treat people this way. I have no access to getting my prescriptions. I'm surprised there's not a law against this. I normally don't write bad reviews, but they left me no choice. The office manager is the one who runs the front desk! if I had the money I would have paid them. I am not one who skipped out on paying my bills. I know how important these appointments are. Because of this experience, I will no longer be using this establishment.
