    Hot spinach and artichoke dip

After getting our 7:15am flight delayed 12 hours to 4:50pm then again to 6:45pm, we were given $15 food vouchers each so we decided to grab a bite at milestones before our flight which just so happens to be beside our gate. The service was slow but only because it was busy, nothing to fault the server on. The food was good. I really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip and I order this every milestones that I go. They definitely make r the right way here and we devoured it. We also ordered the ahi tuna tacos- not so impressive. There was nothing special about it and it had too much citrus making it kind of overpowering. The entire bottom of my tortilla was drenched and was soaking in a pool of what I assumed to be lemon juice. It wasn't that memorable. I don't think it was worth $16 but good thing we got it for free because of the voucher.

    Milestones at the airport.

The people are rude and they don't accept the milestone gift cards. That made the start of our vacation off to a bad start. Had we known we would have eating before the airport or before entering the security zone. This sour experience makes it very likely I will not consider any future milestones period.

The food was what gives this a just okay review, it was good and above fast food but in comparison to other restaurants the food is very basic with not much flavour. It is still good and palatable, but it didn't leave a lasting impression and I don't know if I would return. My friend and I ordered mozza sticks to share as an app and they were good but small and could've used more cheese. The grilled cheese as a main was delicious by far our favourite of the night. The basic burger was mediocre with the meat tasting a bit burnt yet it was pink on the inside (fine by me) and a bit dry. The pickles weren't my fav either with them being sweet? I asked for no tomatoes but was shocked there was no onion or such, and the sauce I saw but did not taste. Both my friend and I acknowledged that they had amazing fries, but a refill of ketchup would've been nice. Finally, I had placed my file folder on the table while dining and forgot to pick it up on the way out and no staff alerted me as they were actively clearing it as soon as we got up. That made me a bit sad.

The space was clean and our food arrived fairly quickly. We ordered the fried chicken and beef brisket soup curry. The spices weren't as strong and fragrant as the one we had in Sapporo which is what made it so memorable for me the first time. It was also a bit salty for my liking. But the fried chicken piece was about double the size than the one in Sapporo! Perfectly juicy and the crispiness is a nice contrast to the soup and soft vegetables. Beef brisket was soft and tender but would pick the fried chicken over the brisket. The rice was a bit lackluster compared to the more fragrant one in Sapporo. It's hard to compete with soup curry from the motherland, but this is still worth trying if you're looking for something different from the usual ramen or sushi.

I guess that's the trendy thing. They give you rice refills. The soup - I ordered the kakuni pork belly curry soup. The Kakuni is really really well done. Very tender and soft, absolutely wonderful. I also liked all of the other veggies - broccoli tomatoes corn etc. the soup is on the peppery side but has a great soft flavour to it. I also added eggplant which had great texture. The rice is also very unique. It is more like whole grained rice and feels healthy. Its texture contrasts with the soup and goes well with it I think. Don't expect traditional curry but if you're open to something new this is an enjoyable meal.

The lamb shoulder was equally good, with the meat absorbing the sauce perfectly. Both types of noodles we tried were springy with the perfect chew, providing a satisfying texture that complemented the proteins well. The braised egg was flavorful, with a rich, savoury taste that added an extra layer of indulgence. For our sides, we opted for black fungus, bean sprouts, celery and carrots, and corn. Each vegetable was fresh, adding a balance of crunch and subtle sweetness that elevated the overall dish. The variety of textures and flavours from the sides made every bite more dynamic and enjoyable. Overall, the combination of tender proteins, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh sides made for a well-rounded and satisfying meal. I also got the pesto greek chicken bowl and oh my god. Whipped feta, amazing tapenade, tzatziki. YUM. The vegan chicken was amazing too. Originally I wanted to choose the Beefless Ginger Bowl, but thankfully the waiter warned me it may be a little on the spicy side. I'm glad he spoke up and I went with the Big Yum bowl instead.
