I came around lunch time and they were still letting people in, which I do appreciate. On the outside the place looks great. On the inside, it is crowded but still there's seating. Service at the front is just flat. The service throughout is non existent. They served rice, pasta, veggies, and fish for lunch. It's a solid lunch. They have limited dessert and salad. I just wish they had to go cups and boxes. They ran out of plates at one point but I understand it was a very busy day. The drop in rating is simply based on service.
It's great that this lounge accepts AMEX Plat! No wait to get in when we came while waiting for our flight home from Vancouver. It offered a nice place to grab a bite and kill some time. It's definitely not as nice as some other lounges. Felt crowded with average food, but we were just happy we didn't have to wait at the gate! They have a bar area for wine and drinks, a coffee and tea station, dessert bar, and some hot foods.
I was at the lounge during breakfast near gate D60-64~. Love the bright big windows and the lounge overlooks the airport runway. They served standard sausage, beans, fries and French toast. The highlight was the fresh made omelette and you can top with fried onions, chili oil and scallions. They also have some yogurt and cantaloupe and honeydew as fruit. The standard options for drinks as well. Cereal, croissants, buns and toast are also available. The dessert is nothing write home about, there are cake donuts and some mini square cake. Oh another thing worthy to note is the big glass dispenser of juice they have there is actually freshly squeezed orange juice.
Although, there is no Centurion Lounge at the airport, this lounge does honors American Express Platinum card members. It's a good size with ample seating both at tables and the bar area. The food was good, flavorful and the variety was impressive. The staff was friendly and ensured the tables were cleaned and cleared promptly. The lounge is a bit small and reaches seating capacity quickly making finding a seat a bit challenging. Special kudos to the front receptionist, Dikuha who found me a seat. Unfortunately, a guest sitting nearby took exception and began berating her in front of others bringing her to tears for only doing her job. This was truly unfortunate and definitely unwarranted. Management was advised. This lounge is located near the E gates and is easily found.
Checking in at the Plaza Premium Lounge was the best treat to myself after having an ordeal of a time (21 hours!) trying to return home after being delayed four times, and then my flight was eventually canceled. Long story short, I ended up purchasing another flight home, which took me from YYZ (Toronto) to YVR (Vancouver) before continuing back to LAX (LA) the next morning. It was my first time at YVR, which is a beautiful airport with so many things to see and do, especially with a 7-hour layover! **NOTE** (This review is for the Plaza Premium Lounge). I didn't have a reservation, but I was still able to walk-in for $31 USD. All that was required was my boarding pass and how long I wanted to stay in the lounge (price increases per hour). While inside, I was able to relax on their comfortable chairs, freshen up in their huge private bathrooms, as well as, have a beverage and enjoy a fresh hot meal in comfort. I'll be looking forward to visiting more of these lounges the next time I travel internationally.
Relatively new Plaza Premium FIRST ( Hong Kong Airline's Business Lounge @YVR ) ... amazing decor and also super friendly and helpful staffs! Shoutout to Koko our lovely server ... after a hectic day it's so good to see a smiling face ... she literally calmed us down and with treats like beef short ribs, tuna tataki & sticky toffee cakes! How can you not relax! Oh and remember to try their signature cocktail: "Holiday Mood" it will surely set you in the right mood!! Outstanding Mixologist! Note this is the US depature side. My first time in a lounge but I expected a lot more after watching youtubes of Asian lounges. This seemed like a cafeteria. For breakfast, they had pancake, scrambled eggs, sausages, fried potato wedges. The eggs were juicy and delicious, sausages were super salty, and the potato wedges were crispy and had good flavor. There was a fridged section with yogurt and toppings, and cake slices. The cakes were extraordinarily sweet. The tea/coffee station was a bit of a mess because there is barely any counter space. Toast and cereal were on another station. I sat by the kitchen station in the center and saw there were a bunch of alcohol on the shelf. Perhaps this is by payment? There was a menu facing inward so it wasnt for breakfast but I was still curious what you can order and whether it is complimentary or not. They have their own shower and washroom section. Probably only around 5 washrooms which still generated quite a line up. All in all not bad if you have free lounge passes on your credit card but I would definitely not pay $55.80 for this. Also, if you book online there is a booking fee so best to walk in.
Date of visit: July 22, 2025 We had the earliest of flights to Seattle but still had a little time to hit the lounge here at YVR and it was overall very nice! Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which you don't tend to see too much at lounges these days. The breakfast spread was certainly not the largest but there was a nice variety of items to choose from and the automated coffee machine was a nice touch. While black forest cake is not something I normally would have for breakfast, they were delicious little squares of heaven! For not being very busy, all of the bathrooms were occupied at the same time--or maybe staff didn't open them all up--which I found odd but I made do without it.
On the flight back home, we had to take advantage of the priority pass access, and luckily it wasn't too busy and we got right in. From a size perspective, it's not huge, actually kinda cramped but honestly with traveling with just one other person, it was easy to grab a table. They had a buffet set up which had beef brisket, fettuccine Alfredo, veggies, a fish dish, and assorted desserts and tomato soup. It kinda reminded me of an elevated high school cafeteria in terms of quality. The brisket was hella dry but it didn't stop me from eating it lol. Tomato soup was watery and didn't have much flavor. from a food perspective, it left a bit to be desired. The tiramisu was pretty tasty though. For drinks, they had a select menu of complimentary alcoholic beverages which is a nice touch. For non-alcoholic, they had a self serve Pepsi soda fountain, some assorted juices, and a coffee machine. Solid selection. Overall, definitely better than spending money on the airport, grabbing a decent bite and a refreshing beverage. If you are a priority pass member, it's worth stopping by to pass time before your flight
This lounge is decent as an option and I was considering going to another lounge but this is the one that was the closest to my boarding gate. I arrived around 6:30 am on a Tuesday since my flight was at 7:30 and it was spacious enough inside but not many seating options due to the way it's arranged. I like the tables in the middle of the room without the booth-like seating but then there's no outlets and I'm one of those that likes to top up all of my devices prior to boarding the plane. The breakfast option was okay, I kind of wished there were more hot food options because there was baked beans, eggs, potatoes, and sausages but there were no waffles or anything else like that. In the refrigerated section they did also have yogurt, a variety of salads -though idk who eats a salad that early in the morning, and fruits. The bar doesn't open til 9 AM per Canada laws I believe, I wasn't looking to get a drink but as I was passing by to find a seat I noticed the sign. There are two bathrooms and two additional doors that are bathrooms but also have showers and nearly the whole time I was there they were occupied. I ended up going outside to use one closer to my gate because I didn't want to have to wait.
I did not even consider looking for a lounge in the YVR airport, but when your shuttle guns it from Whistler back to the airport and you end up 2-3 hours early for your flight, there's no better place to pass the time! I got to the lounge by around 5:10AM and there were already a decent amount of people there (I would say 40% capacity, with the nicer couch-style seating mostly being taken). I checked in with a mobile Priority Pass with no issues. I was very pleasantly surprised by the options. For breakfast, they served a traditional continental breakfast similar to a hotel breakfast, along with cold options in the fridge and dry options. The eggs, sausage, and potato were nothing special, but solid for a lounge. The best part is that all of the allergens were labeled, including nut allergy warnings. They had a full soft serve and espresso machine where I was able to quickly get a caffe latte that was solid. Alcohol service began at 9AM, so I was not able to try anything. Overall, definitely a nice place to pass the time!
If you're looking for a lounge for an airport layover, but don't have a card membership or points for a specific airline, Plaza Premium is the way to go. At a fairly reasonable price. $62 ea for two hours on this day, you get nearly all the amenities of a membership-based lounge. They do offer that as well, but this review is for the pay as you go side. With ample seating, though no couches, lay down areas, or showers, the lounge has plenty of space for you to chill. Even better? The food was really much better than I've had in any other lounge. I was able to get a GF soup and dessert, but there was also a buffet of options. Like all lounges, basic alcohol is available.
They have a decent variety of main dishes like chicken, lamb, vegan meatballs and mashed potatoes. They also offered salads, soup, desserts, and drinks. Also had a bar too. Fancy. I was just glad to grab a few bites to eat before my flight home. I had a light breakfast so I was hungry hy lunchtime.

Still a solid lounge option if you're flying Canada to the US and have Priority Pass! We entered around 6pm and didn't have to wait at all, though I saw a line forming outside shortly after. The space can get pretty busy - lots of people walking by in between chairs and tables. The staff dropped by decently frequently to pick up finished plates/cups. The hot entrees for dinner were again pretty good - there was a creamy pasta, mushroom ragout, broccoli / cauliflower / carrot mix, and pan-fried fish. Tomato soup and garlic bread were yummy. (They ran out of garlic bread a bit later, but still had plain dinner rolls). Beet salad and coleslaw from the fridge were decent for getting in extra veggies. Desserts were similar to last time, meh. The tiramisu was better than the strawberry cake. Finished the meal with hot mint and chamomile teas. All of the TVs were playing the World Cup game that was currently going on at the time. The TV screens behind the bar are the highest quality for sure. An exciting time to visit YVR! read more

I guess this lounge is "premium" compared to the rest of the regular airport, but overall it's just okay. The food selection is small, but everything actually tasted not bad (much better than food court)! EVA business class passengers get a complimentary pass to this lounge, and there is a private seating area in the back for us. I think I would only come here if it's complimentary. There's not much worth paying for. read more

This is a decent lounge in Vancouver if you're on a flight bound for the US and have access through Priority Pass. The interior is moderately sized and was fairly empty when we arrived mid-morning but did fill up rather quickly. The have a small buffet area with hot and cold selections, and they have a self-service soft drink dispenser. They also have a full bar and a small selection of complimentary alcohol options including a few wines and spirits. The restrooms are individual and all seem to have showers in them. They were reasonably clean. The food hot options at breakfast/brunch included French toast, sausage, and eggs. The French toast was good and was made with cinnamon bread as a nice touch. I tried one of the complimentary wines which was decent. The soft drink dispenser did have an ice dispenser. I had to request ice from the bar. Overall this was a decent lounge but do not expect Centurion Lounge level quality. read more

Love this plaza premium lounge, better than the domestic. It is quite small but very efficient as you could pre book or you can give your name at the entrance and they will message you or email you the link to track what place you are in which is kinda cool. The food and drinks offered are also very decent and staff is wonderful here. It could get a bit tight if it's full but the hospitality makes it comfortable read more

Part of Priority Pass. Well stocked lounge located by E88. They have a small list of complementary drinks, but a well stocked bar with items for purchase. Bar, high top, tables, booths, etc. plenty of seating though smallish in size. Two TVs playing hockey and baseball (I love Canada). Bathrooms in the back. Food options are plentiful. Tea, coffee, soda. Snacks like kettle chips, pretzels, and cookies. Two soups. Salads, desserts, 5-6 hot entrees and sides. Vegan jambalaya, quinoa salad, beet salad were all vegan. Very good labeling of food with gluten/dairy/plant/meat ingredients. Four stars only in that the bartender hates his job and it showed in every interaction with every customer. I would probably hate this job too as most people are needy and rude, but pretend at least and be kind to people that are kind to you (you get better tips). read more

A great place to grab a quick bite if you have free access, but maybe not a spot I would pay to enter. Clean, tidy interior but don't have high expectations for food selection or quality. Very standard and similar to lounges in the US. There were about five hot trays (hash browns, sausages, eggs, potatoes, and a mixed veggie dish) and a refrigerator with granola, olives, and an assortment of desserts. Continental breakfast items like oatmeal and croissants were also available. Everything is self-serve except for the complimentary drinks which are ordered at the bar. I didn't order anything but I did see that options included juice, beer, and vodka. I came at around 9:30am on a Wednesday and the lounge was packed. I couldn't walk anywhere without banging into someone's suitcase and there was no space for me to sit either. The food also didn't look very appetizing so I ended up only using the washroom before making another lap and heading out. I also came here while waiting for a flight that was delayed 3 times (shoutout Flair for the extra few hours I had to explore the airport) and wanted nothing more than some fresh fruit. Unfortunately, the lounge has no fruit :( The washroom was amazing though. It was probably my favorite part of the lounge, although I forgot to snap a picture. First time using my priority pass and it was more than amazing. They had free dinner, fountain drinks, and even free alcohol selections! Some foods include potato salad, orange (actual orange pieces) chicken, peas, maple honey ham, soups, etc. if they had other veggies that would be great. Their honey ham was excellent! I would've grabbed a drink but I got full. Their desserts are not bad either. They constantly have a person to come around to collect dirty dishes which is nice. Ample seating and a lot of outlets to charge your devices. read more
Probably my least favourite Plqza Premium Lounge at YVR. The food is not as good and the seating is more like a cafeteria than a lounge. The layout doesn't make me want to stay here. This time, I only had 45 minutes before my flight, not that I wanted to stay much longer anyways. read more

I've been to quite a few airport lounges and while this one isn't the best I've ever been to, it wasn't that bad. There were 4 of us and I was sure we'd have to pay for 2, at least, but the person at the counter found a way to let us all in for free (I think she used 3 on my Priority Pass and one on my Amex Plat.) I really appreciated that she helped us out and it wasn't a hassle at all. The place is fairly small, without any lounging chairs. This is mostly all business; get your food, get your drink, get out, sort of lounge. The tables were kept extremely clean, with someone coming by taking plates and wiping up all the time. The food was plentiful and actually not that bad for a buffet (we had breakfast items). The only complaint I have are the bathrooms. They were in dire need of a cleaning every so often but were not cleaned. It was bad and disgusting. No thank you. read more
Stopped in on a Thursday at around 1 PM and this place was kind of a mess. It was SO crowded and a bit difficult to find a table for two. The food isn't very good and looks very picked through. When we went, they had some fish, chicken, frozen veggies, and beet mashed potatoes. Everything tasted like a frozen TV dinner. The only thing that was semi okay was the mashed potatoes. If you just want to fill your water bottle, or get a quick drink, then this lounge fits the bill. But if you're looking for decent food or a place to relax, you're not going to find it here. This is the only PP lounge in the airport that is accessible for US residents traveling from Canada to the US. But I'm not sure if it's better than no lounge at all. read more

Located in the International side of airport. Ambiance is quiet and clean. There are several tables for 2-4 people. Device chargers are not designed in most seating areas. Food served today is not good but it satisfies a hungry passenger at no extra charge. *Roast Pork Loin in Tarragon Sauce was tough and dry *Chicken Cacciatore was dry although this might be the best in today's selection *Both soups seem like they are prepackaged frozens I wish this lounge could showcase the Vancouver food scene. After all, this city offers some of the best cuisines in the world. Service is very good though. Server refills food and cleans up tables quickly with a smile. read more
I didn't know what to expect when I came across this spot. I have Priority Pass access and found out that this spot was included. My husband and I had a bit of a wait (approx 5 minutes since our flight was a bit delayed, but we also appeared at one of their busiest times. It seemed as if all hands were on deck--manager, staff, etc. After finding a vacant high top table and getting it cleared and wiped down by the staff, we made our way to the buffet area--garlic rice, curry chicken, veggies, a fish dish, and noodles were available in this area. The adjacent refrigerated section had a couple sections of desserts, salad, yogurt, and some chilled drinks. Around the corner was the fountain drink service area--water, soda, hot water, tea, and water. The bar had a few items on the backbar with options to upgrade as requested--spirits, beer, wine. The area surrounding had soup, tortilla chips, and cookies. Honestly, the quality of food was better than anticipated. I don't have as much spots to reference for comparison, but they were serving enough portions and people that the staff seemed to be constantly having to refill the hot dishes or other items. There seemed to just be not enough seating for the amount of people trying to make it into the lounge. They did have ample seating, but just a lot of people in the space at once. The restrooms seemed to have a bit of a line (only 4 stalls, some being equipped with showers). They did have tvs spaced around the spot showing different flight schedules along with the Olympics. All in all, not too shabby. If the spot were just a bit bigger and had more staff, probably would've been ok. Glad to have had a chance to visit this spot. read more
