DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...They showed up several hours late, which I didn't complain about, but I did have to extend my Uhaul time. I paid via Zelle/quickpay and the transactions were canceled by Chase. I then had a friend pay Vicki via Zelle, as she wanted a cash payment before she left. Ultimately, one of my transactions went through, as well as my friend's transaction. Vicki has not returned my overpayment, as promised, and it has been 30 days. I have heard a lot of excuses, but I have not received my overpayment back. This company should not be in business. They were recommended by a friend, so I used them, despite the bad reviews. I could not find this business on the Nevada Secretary of State website as a valid business either. read more

It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review. My move was May 15th. I had called around before booking with Military veteran Movers. I packed everything myself, and everything just needed to be put on a truck and moved 25 minutes across town and unloaded. 1 bedroom apartment. Everyone I called quoted me about 3.5 hours to move, including Vicki at Military veteran Movers. Movers show up almost on time ( got a bit lost, no big deal) and get to work. The move took 7 hours! They had a hand dolly on the truck they just didn't use. Carried 1-2 boxes at a time. First thing to break was my dresser. They carried it out with the drawers still in it. Turned the corner out the door and all the drawers fell out. Ashley furniture. 4 out of the 6 drawers damaged. They apologize, call thier boss immediately who contacts me within minutes and assures me it will be replaced. Move continues, but anything else that breaks the movers don't mention. My boyfriend happened to see our cube storage unit fall off the back of the truck. They moved it in and placed it in the corner of the bedroom damage side down and against the wall and didn't say a word. Same with handmade curtain rods my boyfriend's late mother made. Found sloppily stashed in the spare bedroom closet. It took me days to find the 8 inch gash on the back of my microfiber couch as the moved it in and immediately slid it against the wall. Then there's my 55" brand new television. Still has the protective plastic around the screen. They used the mattress from inside the couch to wrap around the TV for protection. Moved carrying it in like a hammock, holding both ends of the mattress. The mattress material ripped out of his hand and TV hits the concrete. I plugged it in before the left and it turned on so I didn't look any closer. The screen was actually damaged and we couldn't see it as it was on the floor partially behind boxes when we plugged it in. One of the things I specifically asked Vicki before my move is if they had protective covers for mattresses. I was going g to buy a mattress bag if they didn't. She assured me they did. They did not use anything to protect the mattress and sure enough, there was an identical gash to the one on my couch. Luckily I left the mattress foam topper and sheets on it so it damaged those and not the mattress. The movers response when I pointed it out? "Oh that wasn't there?" No, it wasn't. He ended up telling me there was an exposed nail in the truck that it snagged on. The move ends and the owner Dave calls to process payment. $740. Keep in mind I was quoted for 3.5 hours... After some back and forth he calls the mover calls me, "ok, we'll only charge you for 5 hours, and I'll cover the gas and mileage". Okay. Total was $690. If labor is $75 an hour, and he deducted gas and mileage, how did it only save me $50? Whatever. Payment goes through, and call drops. Dave doesn't call back and can't get through to him. Never received a receipt. The last response I got from Vicki was June 5th and that was a text. I've called, left messages and can't seem to get a call back. She told me she would call Wednesday June 7th and I never heard from her. I was able to get Dave on the phone once about 10 days ago and he said Vicki was out of the office and would call me in a few days when she returned. I did try calling both numbers today, and Vicki answered but hung up as soon as I said "hi Vicki this is ------" -call ended- I was really trying to giver her the benefit of the doubt but I tried calling back and constantly ignored. It's been well over a month and I have no information about when or how my damaged goods will be replaced. If I am able to figure it out I have photos to go along with this post. This moving company move my furniture Oct 29 , 2019, in the move my master bed room furniture was damage , upon delivery i pointed out dings , scratches and chip granite on night stand , deliveryman took pictures and said the company would send someone to repair my furniture that haven't happen and my phone has been blocked , cost of repairs $450.00 which i paid to repair furniture , plus they over charged me , i wouldn't recommend this company to move . read more

I checked the reviews before hiring them and was a bit nervous after reading the negative reviews. A move is no joke, if the movers mess up it can leave you in a lot of trouble... They were 2 hours late due to another job, which I suppose is to be expected. But after that, it went very smoothly. The guys were awesome, they brought their own truck which was significantly bigger than what we would have rented at U-Haul. Turned out it was a good call, because we were moving two houses into one, and they were able to fit everything into their truck. They worked pretty fast - definitely not slacking. Super friendly. David was awesome, very communicative, and they took good care of our stuff. The bill was higher than we had planned ($700 instead of $500) because it took more time than expected, but that's fair and we were really pleased with their help. They even took away some junk we needed to throw away, which was really welcome = less work for us to do after the move. I will call them again for my next move! read more

The owners were very communicative with me through out the whole process. The kids moving my stuff were fast and eager with their work. The only thing I mentioned is that although I appreciate the quick work and eagerness they need to slow down just a tad bit and be aware of their surroundings when they move objects. I called late at night to ask if it was possible to move me the next afternoon, they got back to me quickly, and told me it would be no problem, David made sure he kept in contact with me. They were very fast, professional and nice. I felt much safer having them move me than normal last minute movers. They were very careful with my belongings and were friendly the whole time. I would not only recommend them to anyone, if I ever need movers again I will definitely hire them. The fact that they use 'veterans' in their company name is shameful. Don't be deceived they are just as crooked as any other company. I was quoted $170 and told the job would take 2 hours with 2 men. 6 1/2 hours later the men were not done; they left 1/4 of my things unmoved, pulled off the screen door, riped vertical blinds, and did not reassemble the beds. They also managed to bang up and chip walls, scratch hard wood floors and put so many dings and scratches on my furniture. $430 for all that! When I called to speak to 'David' who ever he is, he did absolutely nothing about it, and no response either from another lady except an 'I'll contact you shortly' which was never. SHAME on them for saying they are reputable vets. read more

After a bit of a scheduling snafu (mostly my fault, the delivery of the moving truck itself was delayed), just 2 of their staff was able to unload the entire thing for about 1/2 what we paid to fill it back east. They even helped put together a few things so we'd have a place to sleep tonight. Very professional and polite, and very patient with a frazzled me that wasn't sure what some of the things were in their wrapped up state. I needed help unloading a 15' U-Haul truck after moving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas at the end of December. Because of some delays my original plans for the unloading fell through. Had Military Veteran Movers pick up two garage sale purchases and deliver to my new home. Job involved dismantling an L-shaped 72 x 65 inch executive desk/return and hutch, wrapping, loading, transporting...THEN unloading and setting up in my home. Second stop was for a large dresser that received equally gentle care. All in all, the moving team was amazing...efficient and very cost effective. They even helped with placement decisions. Very nice guys.. Showed up EARLY (unheard of in moving companies I think). They don't mess around. Not only did they do the moving but helped detach/reattach appliance fittings at my rental property after it was delivered. Trips upstairs & downstairs with appliances - 2 times. When I called my tenant to ask how it went, he was so impressed by Marcus and how he was running back and forth to his trucks for tools. Good guys. . These guys are great we scheduled our move they were reasonably priced and great to work with. On the day of our move their were a few problems on the way to our house they had an accident no one got hurt but their truck was totaled David called me and explained the situation he said if we could rent a truck they could still move us you see all of their other trucks were out on other jobs so we rented a truck which only cost about 50 dollars and within 2 hours we were back on schedule. Our moving team was great fast and efficient they took care of our thing's like they were there own. I would definitely recommend these movers to anyone there professional and courteous. they were great at packing our things and were very fast but they didn't put our beds together, they didn't put our kitchen table back together and the trust wasn't big enough to fit all of our things. I don't now what they would have done if we were moving out of state. They then wanted more money to go back and get rest of the things out of storage that wouldn't fit in the truck. This was on a Thursday and we had to be out of the apartment by Friday. They never called on Friday at all to make arrangements to get rest of our things out of the house and storage. We finally got a hold of them and they said they would send out two guys on Saturday to finish the job but we still had to pay them more even though they didn't finish the job they were paid to do and get done on Thursday. We told them to leave lose things in the house we would get them, things like blankets, that were sitting on the sofa, they left a really heavy tool box in the garage, the umbrella to our patio table, our BBQ, many tools and other things in the garage, which we did not consider lose things. We were told that two guys would be out on Saturday to finish the job after they were done with another job for the day, we didn't hear anything from anyone by 6pm. We heard nothing from them on Sunday so I called them on Monday. They had many excuses as to why they didn't contact me on Friday to finish the job then on Saturday to finish the job then again on Monday I had to contact them to finish the job that they should have had done on Thursday. We also had the house all packed up so they didn't have to pack much of any thng except a closet with games in it and blankets. We ended up having to rent a Uhaul to get rest of the items out of the apartment by Friday and then again we had to rent another truck to get the things out of storage by Monday, I still had to pay one day more rent fee on the storage since they didn't get everything out on Thursday like we hired them to do. /we had to end up hiring day laborers, to help us finish the job that Military Veterans Movers didn't finish doing, and our table is still sitting in our dining room not put together. David is the one who took it apart so he is the one who knows how to put it back together. We were able to put out beds together even though both of us had just had surgery, it was very painful but we got it done.They ended up costing us an additional $500 we had to pay for two extra Uhaul trucks and day laborers, they really let us down and apparently didn't care, if they did Vicky would have gotten ahold of us by Thursday night and no later than Friday morning to finish the job then I am the one who had to call her on Monday morning,s he once again didn't contact me to get the job done, I swear there is no such thing as an honest moving company, you get screwed over one way or another. If they didn't bring a big enough trust then it was their fault I made it totally clear to them how much stuff we had, they should have eaten the cost of going back and getting the little left in our storage unit and bringing it back to our house on Thursday night, but because of them not contacting us we had to wait until Monday and we had to end up hiring other people to get the job done, we didn't trust them to show up on Monday since they didn't communicate with us at to get our things to us by Friday. If they had gotten everything to us by Thursday and had us all moved in then they might have gotten five stars but there is no way I can give them more than two stars when they cost us over $500 more to move what they didn't move. I wouldn't recommend them for a big move, they might be ok for smaller moves, but don't you dare have too much to fit into their truck because you willl get screwed over by them. We are going to have to hire someone who knows how to put furniture together to come put our table back together, it is a complicated table. It should have been done by the person who took it apart David and we shouldn't have to pay him extra to come out and put it back together for us. So if they tell you that they will assemble things at your new location don't believe them, they wouldn't assemble anything for us. read more
