These guys are amazing. Throughout my entire experience, every person I interacted with was polite and efficient. I requested a quote through Yelp about a month prior to my moving date and they responded quickly with a rate lower than a few others I'd requested. I called to schedule the move and Jannette was great at walking me through the whole process. On the day of my move, my team showed up early and had my whole apartment cleared out in about an hour and a half. They actually finished before I was done picking up keys to the new place. My service ended up taking about 3 and a half hours total, and cost $410 with the stairs fee. My movers were so kind and careful with my things. I always worry that an hourly job like this could milk the clock, but that was absolutely not the case here. Do not hire! You will have your stuff stolen! I had a golf set worth $7500 in my storage unit. They sent me a hispanic guy and an African American guy to help me move and when I moved more stuff into my storage unit I had this funning feeling when I didn't see my golf set anymore. There was nobody else there except me, my sister, them and the supervisor of the storage place. Golf set is gone. Super angry!!! I spoke to the company and they cannot do anything at this point. I recently had the pleasure of hiring this moving company and they came fully prepared with all the necessary supplies, from the truck to bubble wrap and more. They were quite quick and incredibly efficient making sure not to waste any time. Unlike some other movers I've encountered in the past, they didn't try to milk the clock. After checking the outdoor camera I noted one of the gentlemen took my last can of Red Bull and left it crushed on the ground, it a small thing and not a complaint per se just a little weird and made me kinda sad - but despite that, I would still highly recommend them. I needed someone to help me pack a 20 foot Uhaul truck for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom condo on the second floor up the worst stairs you can imagine. Transportation Movers was recommended to me by a family member who has moved many times and hasn't stopped using Transportation Movers since he first found them. After they packed up every inch of that truck in record time, I absolutely understand why they were so highly recommended. I've moved other folks, and I've moved myself before, too. But Hector and his colleague did the work of 5 men (and I'm not being facetious). I would have happily paid double for what they did and how fast they did it, and especially for how flexible they were with my schedule. My only regret is that I'm moving out of state so I don't know if I'll ever get to use them again, so instead I'll tell the whole world to use Transportation Movers next time they need to get it done right. read more

Very satisfied with their service! I hired 2 movers for 2 hours at a very reasonable rate per hour. The 2 movers showed up on time on the dot. They brought an appliance dolly and furniture dolly at no extra charge. They worked very fast and efficiently. The moment they showed up, they went straight to work. Not one second wasted. Every time they went to carry something, they maximized the load. Not once did they go to load up the truck with one hand empty. They fully loaded up my 26' U-Haul truck in 45 minutes. They packed the truck very well. No ropes were even needed to secure my items. And they also unloaded the truck efficiently in just 45 minutes. No items were broken. Overall, the complete move only took 1:45 hours. I did pack everything well in large containers to make it easier for the movers. And 90% of my stuff were on the first floor. read more

Called Transportation Movers about a week before our move. Booking was fast and easy. We were told by the booking agent that the movers would assemble our furniture after it was moved in, and assured us we were on the schedule for 8am on the agreed upon date. That's about where the good experience ended. We realized the day before our move that we hadn't gotten a confirmation phone call. We called them to confirm we were still on the schedule. The agent sounded like she was in a car when she answered the phone, had our address wrong, and also told us our move had been rescheduled to 12pm. Had we never called to confirm the time and address, we would have just thought they were no shows, and they would have been since they changed the time of the move and never told us, and the agent recorded our address wrong. The movers showed up about 11:50am. They moved everything into the house pretty quickly, and seemed to handle the furniture with care. After everything was moved in, they told us they were done. We asked if they were going to assemble the furniture and they said no, because they didn't bring any tools. We told the movers that the booking agent assured us that they would assemble our furniture, but they kept insisting that they needed a drill to assemble the furniture. I've used movers three times in the last 10 years and I've never seen any of them take my furniture apart or put it back together with a drill. All that was needed was a ratcheted screwdriver. Luckily I had tools at our home, and we advised them that they could use them to complete the furniture assembly. Had we not spoken up, they would have happily left and not assembled our furniture. The movers were nice enough, but it wasn't a good experience overall. I wouldn't use them again. read more

I was not happy with the services. I wish I paid a little more and went with a different company. When moving the bed out of my room, it took them a considerable amount of time because they said they didn't bring the right tools. They forced the bed out of the house while it was still put together when they were moving it into my new place they had difficulty moving the bed into the room because it was still put together. We had to manually take apart the bed with the Allen wrenches that I provided, but they still did not take apart the entire bed I could hear them talk about forcing and pushing the bed through to finish the job because of this there has been several damages to my wall and my staircase banister. I asked the mover several times if he could take apart the bed, but he blamed his partner saying that he did not bring the right tools and that it wasn't feasible for them to take apart the bed when I pointed out the damage that they did to the walls, he shrugged his shoulders and said that's just what happens. When I have used other movers, they were able to take apart my bed within five minutes because they had the right tools and no damage was done to my home. Additionally, they pulled out the drawers in my dresser in order to get it into the house this created problems in putting the drawers back because again they forced the drawers out of place. I'm struggling to understand why there are so many positive reviews considering my very bad experience. read more
