Stopped by getting my car washed, exterior cleaning only, and some one literally took my auxiliary cable.

Prior to stalling, the truck had been jerking, sputtering during acceleration, and losing power while driving. After evaluating the truck, I was told the spark plugs needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and paid $509.19. I was then told the truck was fixed. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving, the exact same issue happened again. The truck began sputtering and completely died near Friendship Road and I985, creating a dangerous situation in traffic and resulting in another emergency tow that cost me an additional $300. I returned the truck and explained that the issue was still occurring. However, because the truck happened to start for them during testing, I was told they could not replicate the problem and did not know what was wrong. I specifically asked about fuel system concerns because the symptoms felt fuel related, but no diagnosis was made beyond the spark plugs. At that point, I no longer trusted the truck to be safe to drive and took it directly across the street to Christian Brothers Automotive Buford for a second opinion. Shortly after arriving there, the truck stalled again while they were attempting to move it into the service bay. Because the failure occurred while connected to diagnostics, they were able to pull active fault codes indicating issues with the fuel pump and fuel pump control module. I ultimately authorized approximately $2,000 in repairs for the actual problem. In retrospect, the spark plug replacement appears to have been more of a guess at the problem than an actual diagnosis, especially considering the symptoms remained exactly the same immediately afterward and the real issue turned out to be fuel system related. To be fair, intermittent mechanical issues can be difficult to diagnose, and the staff was polite throughout the process. However, I am disappointed that I spent over $500 on repairs that did not address the issue at all, followed by another breakdown and tow immediately after being told the vehicle was fixed. Given the safety risk involved with a vehicle stalling in traffic, I expected a more thorough diagnostic process before being told the truck was repaired.

He immediately got me in for another appointment and made it his personal mission to diagnose my ac again. He even went as far as getting the team to take the system apart piece by piece and was able to solve the mystery on why my Freon was leaking and found that yes in fact I had zero Freon in the car (as I Suspected last week). He contacted me numerous times throughout the day to keep me updated. We're both hoping this is time we figured out the solution but he also schedule me in for another follow up in a couple weeks to ensure what we thought was the fix is really the fix and to make sure no additional leaking happens. Very please to say I didn't have to dump the establishment as I was very fond of them prior to this last visit. Thank you for going the extra mile to fix a bad experience.

I can't express enough my appreciation for addressing the issues with my car. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you guys are stuck with me ( and Teddy my dog). I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience…read more I brought my car in for a rear brake job with a 10:00 AM appointment and was told it would take a couple of hours. I specifically requested the upgraded brake pads and was assured they were in stock. By 1:00 PM, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called for an update. That's when I learned they didn't actually have the brake pads and had to order them. No one had bothered to call and let me know about the delay. I was then told it would be another 45 minutes. I had also requested a tire rotation and balance. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, there was confusion with the billing, and they had to redo the invoice. During that process, I discovered they had installed new rotors without ever contacting me for approval. Regardless of whether the rotors were needed, I would have expected a phone call before additional work was performed. To make matters worse, they never completed the tire rotation and balance I requested. Instead, they told me my tires were too worn and recommended nearly $1,000 worth of new tires. I had inspected the tires myself before bringing the vehicle in, and they still had plenty of tread remaining with only about 20,000 miles of use. Rather than discussing this with me during the service, they waited until I arrived to pick up the car. When I insisted on having the rotation and balance performed, I was told it would take another hour. At that point, my frustration level was through the roof. It was now past 2:00pm and my day was shot. They suggested I make another appointment to come back. I said no thank you, I will go elsewhere. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that I've had good service here in the past. Unfortunately, the lack of communication, unauthorized additional work, inaccurate information about my tires, and overall poor customer service have seriously damaged my trust. Based on this experience, I doubt I'll be returning.

After waiting in my vehicle for about five minutes without being acknowledged, I went inside to check in. Aaron, the Auto Care Center manager, checked me in and advised that the oil change would take approximately 45 minutes and that I would receive a text when it was completed. I shopped in the store for about an hour but never received a text. I returned to the Auto Care Center and waited another 30 minutes. After approximately 90 minutes, I asked Nick for an update. Another customer nearby mentioned that he had arrived around 4:00 or 4:30 p.m., well after I had checked in. Nick said the technicians were behind and claimed someone was working underneath my vehicle, although I could clearly see that no one was working on it. At approximately 5:25 p.m., the customer who arrived after me had already completed his service and left. Thirty minutes later, I asked for another update and was told that someone was just about to begin working on my vehicle. I was given a confusing explanation involving another employee completing the paperwork. When I asked why Nick had not checked on my vehicle earlier, he responded that it was not his job and that he had nothing to do with what happened in the garage. He took no accountability for the situation. As the employee communicating with customers and accepting payment, I believe he had a responsibility to investigate my concerns or involve someone who could assist. Because I felt that my concerns were being dismissed, I asked to speak with the Auto Care Center manager. I was told that he had already left for the day and would not return until Monday. I then requested to speak with the store manager but was told either that the phone line was busy or that the manager did not answer. No other manager was offered, and no meaningful effort appeared to be made to address or escalate my concerns. Eventually, I was told that my vehicle was almost finished, but Nick left the area, and I then had to continue waiting to be checked out. I am extremely disappointed with the poor communication, excessive wait time, lack of accountability, and the fact that a customer who arrived after me was serviced first. I was originally quoted 45 minutes, but the service took several hours without any proactive updates or a reasonable explanation. When I attempted to escalate the issue, I was unable to speak with any manager. Nothing about this experience was acceptable. This was my first time using Walmart for an oil change, and based on the treatment and service I received, it will also be my last.

Well, the little one needed entertainment, and Walmart has toys for sale - so why not try to get the oil changed and keep the kid smiling at the same time. Walked into the auto center and saw the dismal faces of most Walmart shoppers - broken and without hope - I didn't let that dissuade me. I went to the counter and waited. No one came. Walked around looking. No one came. Took out my cell phone and called. No one came. Finally, I asked a guy sitting there miserably what was up. He perked up at the prospect of human interaction after God knows how long. He told me that they had told him the OIL CHANGE would be completed 2 hours prior, and they had just started to work on it. I left. Valvoline got me in and changed in under 20 minutes.
