The quote went from being $2,000+ to about $500. I felt that his willingness to dialogue with me made all the difference, and I could tell quite plainly that he was completely honest, experienced, and also straightforward. Sure enough, he was able to work some magic on my catalytic converter, replace some spark plugs, and tweak a couple other things here and there. I originally took the car because it had failed an emissions inspection. When I arrived to pick it up, I found that he had taken the liberty of bringing the car to an emissions place and had already gotten it passed. The paperwork was sitting on my dashboard. It's been about 3 months since then; I wanted to wait some time to confirm that my issues would not return. I tap my card and then I was given my receipt. I see that the discount was not applied. Attendant starts the conversation by telling me it is my fault and that they can give me the discount next time. Asked if I could get another service and get the discount on that. Originally told yes but manager vetoed that and said I already paid. I literally showed the coupon when I first arrived. Attendant never told me the price nor showed me the final price before telling me to pay. Manager will not let me get the discount on a different service. They must be hurting for business and I see why. I will not return.

They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

I still had to take the vehicle elsewhere for a proper evaluation and diagnosis. I would advise others to be cautious with this shop, as in my experience they did not address the root cause of the problem and focused mainly on basic maintenance without resolving the actual issue.
