Horrible. Took my car in for a tire rotation and oil change. I have one tire that is different from the others due to a flat in the back, and it was in the same spot after the rotation. Terrible Experience - Overpriced, Delayed, and Damaged Our Car! We took our Toyota Prius to America's Service Station at Dacula Hamilton Mill for a Brake Master Cylinder repair, agreeing to the $4,000 repair cost under the condition that it would be ready by Thursday end of day. Not only was it delayed until Friday, but when we finally got our car back, we found a deep scratch on the front glass that was absolutely NOT there before. When we confronted the staff about it, they completely denied responsibility instead of owning up to their mistake. On top of that, we found a towel left inside our car, which just adds to the complete lack of professionalism. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, and we absolutely do NOT recommend this shop. Overpriced, careless, and dishonest--we expected better, and we got the exact opposite. This shop destroyed my vehicle. I took my vehicle in for repairs and ended up paying the price -- literally. Their work caused over $7,100 in damages and ruined my car. After their "repair," my vehicle started showing serious issues. I took it to a trusted, certified mechanic who identified a shocking list of problems -- all clearly resulting from this shop's botched job: - Front differential was leaking badly with fluid everywhere underneath - Improper sealant and missing parts, including a missing differential seal - Metal shavings in the fluid -- a sign of severe internal damage - Damaged front driveshaft and transmission - Exhaust system hacked together with welds and sealant, causing leaks - O2 sensor wires incorrectly routed - Brake dust shield rubbing the rotor The shop that evaluated the vehicle said it needed a new front differential, front driveshaft, and transmission assembly to restore it to factory condition. This was a complete disaster. What should have been a standard repair turned into an expensive, unsafe mess. Three attempts to repair my air conditioner, over $2000 in repair costs my 2013 Toyota Sienna finally had crisp air conditioned summer 2023. Unfortunately after 2nd attempt no heat nor interior lights. There was no responsibility taken for the technicians at A.S.S. I am so grateful for Christmas lighting that guides my way at night without interior lights. Got a call from Jeff telling us the car was done but that there were issues and said my sons car needed new front axels, that they were leaking bad and once fluid leaked dry my so.s car would turn anymore. PLEASE DO NOT GO THIS PLACE!!!!!! The worst customer service experience in my life. I had an issue with my car and stopped by this service on 12/5/2023. After paying $130 for the diagnosis, they identified trouble code P1326 and advised me to visit the Hyundai dealership. After spending an additional $180 on towing, Hyundai claimed there was no such trouble code, leaving me puzzled. Upon reaching out to the mechanic shop, they denied clearing the code first and then admitted that it could be done during the procedure. This lack of clarity added frustration to the situation. The two-day inconvenience and the $180 spent on towing felt unnecessary if the code was potentially cleared. I complained this to them and they suggested a ridiculous solution that they will drive my car until the code shows up. I am uncomfortable with someone driving my car especially you don't know when the code will show up again. Nothing was resolved. They will lie to you if they do something wrong. The manager Doug hung up on me once I said I will leave a bad review. They don't care about their customers. If I can do, I want to leave ZERO stars. Hello! I wanted to add a review for this establishment because I've had a very positive experience and wanted to share. I recently took my 4Runner in for brakes and differential work after checking prices around and reading reviews. I found them to be reasonable (over $100 less than the toyota dealer) Doug was very professional and courteous and offered me a ride home while they serviced my car. A couple of hours later I was back on the road. I do need to add that the next day I heard some odd noises and called him and his response was come right in! I did and they made a few adjustments to the rotors and all is perfect now! That sealed me on their customer service! I will be taking my car to them for all my needs in the future! read more

I gave this company the benefit of the doubt when they bent the cap changing the oil in my Volkswagen and the oil leaked out after the oil change. I brought my daughter's Jeep to them and the exact same thing happened. They offered an "I'm sorry" and that's about it, even after I explained this was the 2nd time. They also charged $130 diagnostic charge to identify an issue we had already had diagnosed at Auto Zone and then charged for the repair. I understand charging a diagnostic fee if someone doesn't actually use you to complete the repair. I have been coming here for over 10 years and won't come back again. read more

I bought my Cadillac Escalade in for a routine oil change and less than 24 hrs later the check engine light comes on. I brought it back up there and the code is "Engine Oil Sensor". I asked them if they would fix it and they deny that it is their fault. The mechanic considered it normal wear and tear and doesn't believe that they caused it. I get that sensors go out but that's way too circumstantial that the engine oil sensor went bad IMMEDIATELY right after the engine oil change that THEY did. Now I have to fix what they broke out of my own pocket! I almost forgot to mention that they told me I needed a tune up and quoted me $750, but I took it somewhere else and got a second opinion and it turns out I don't need one! They also told me I needed fluids serviced and quoted me another $700 but I took the car to another shop and they said all I needed was brake fluid and they topped that off for free! Beware! On or around May 8, 2023, I visited America's Service Station for what should have been a routine oil change on my vehicle. Upon arrival, the service center rep wasted no time in informing me of an issue with my rear brakes, claiming that my car was unfit to drive. Trusting their expertise, I agreed to their recommended brake pad and caliper replacement, which cost me around $1,090.62. Soon after the repair was completed on May 12, and when I started my car to drive home, I noticed the brake lights blinking, indicating a problem I had never encountered before. It was evident that this issue was caused by something the service person had done. On that same day, I immediately brought this issue to the attention of the service person, who was unable to identify the root cause. In good faith, I decided to leave my car with them for an additional three days thereafter, hoping for a prompt resolution. When I followed up with America's Service Center on the morning of May 15, 2023, they had no updates for me, but promised they would investigate the matter and provide an update for me later that day. I followed up with them again in the afternoon, but once again they had no progress to report - neither any findings on the root cause nor any steps to undertake repairs. Frustrated, I visited the repair shop in person about an hour before closing time on that same day, only to find out they still had no update and no answers. At this point, I had lost confidence in America's Service Station's ability to resolve the issue they themselves had created. Consequently, I made the decision to take my car to an authorized Subaru service center instead, where the truth behind the brake light issue finally came to light. America's Service Station personnel had failed to release the electronic parking brake during their repair, causing severe damage to the rear wheel bearings. The Subaru service center quoted me an additional $759.80 + $767.56 + $25.98 = $1,553.34 to fix this issue, as indicated on the invoice I had initially sent to you along with the filing of my dispute. This amount exceeds that which America's Service Station charged me. America's Service Station failed to deliver the promised service by creating a problem that did not previously exist (a problem that, as specified above, turned out to be far costlier to fix). They then failed to follow through in a timely fashion to take steps to redress their mistake, despite my repeated calls and requests. As a result, I was compelled to spend an exorbitant amount of money for repairs that wouldn't have been necessary but for their gross oversight and refusal to engage me in the aftermath. If you value quality service and accountability, stay away from this shop at all costs. read more

My car was in excellent working condition when I dropped it off to America service station. I have a Mercedes that had 135,000 miles, which is not terrible in the state of Georgia. They had an ad for a free engine scan. I also wanted my brakes checked and my window wipers replaced. occasionally the car used to vibrate for a few seconds upon starting and therefore I decided to take advantage of the free engine scan. free engine scan turned out to be a false advertising. They told me I needed to pay $280 for a diagnostic because their scan is showing codes which needs a special scan for 280. Let's be clear, I have always taking my car to Mercedes for every single service that they recommended. My car got service at least twice a year and I always pay for every single thing that they recommended. I'm currently on a tighter budget and therefore I decided since the car is no longer under warranty, I'd try going someplace else. They said my car came back with at least seven codes. The list was long. $1400 of parts had to be ordered from Mercedes and paid for in order for them to even agree to do the work. Of course this is not what they originally said they would often change what they originally said throughout my experience. I paid for the work and the labor was 2000. When I got my car back, the check engine light was on and the car was Shaking forcefully. I've never experienced that before. I kept telling Doug, the owner, and sometimes I would speak to Jeff. On one occasion, I spoke to Lucas. I wouldn't say anyone is extra friendly. They can be very abrupt and don't like being questioned. They don't listen very well, and you rarely get an apology. I bought my car back three times for the same issue, and they kept swearing that it was resolved, and that the check engine light was gone and the shaking of the car stopped, which always turned out to be a lie. Every time I would pick the car up within a day or five minutes, it would still do the same thing. I don't have a second vehicle and therefore I needed the problems to be resolved because now it had problems that it didn't have before I dropped it off. My daughter has to be dropped to school and picked up and I have to go to work. I explained to them that I work 12 hour shifts and I Work an hour away. My car could still drive, although it was a very rough drive. After the third time of still not fixing the issue, I told them I had to go on a cruise and wouldn't be available for a week but when I return, I will drop the car off again for the fourth time. I tried my best to give them a chance to fix the issue because I did spend about $4000. Anyway, I returned from the cruise and went to work the next day. While inside at the job, one of the nurses aids comes inside and tells me that my car engine was on and running and making a loud noise, like a fan noise, outside in the front. I went out to check in the car, had several messages on the dashboard. At mentioned antitheft activation, and on another side, it said that the car was inoperable. My remote didn't work and the car could not shut off. Nothing I did could shut that engine off. I looked up several things on various websites, including a Q&A blog with Mercedes-Benz, and called them as well to let them know what was going on. They cannot diagnose over the phone But they came up with a few reasons that a car engine starts up on its own or if a fan starts blowing and the car is unable to be shut off. I called americas service station to ask them What the heck did they do to my car? they said they were sending me a tow truck. When the tow truck came, he told me I would have to pay. He gave a quote of about $600 stating that he had to use a dolly and that he was going to charge me for every mile. Again, I work an hour away from the service station. . I can't leave my car in front of my job for 12 hours running because either the gas will run out of the car was going to overheat. Nonetheless, the tow truck driver was baffled as well and took the car and I was stuck having to pay the bill. I called to complain And Doug said if it's their problem, he would pay for the tow truck and fix it. Initially, it sounded like it was his own personal tow truck, and not a tow truck that he randomly selected and sent to me. When the car gets there, he takes two days to finally get back to me and tells me he thinks I need a battery. First of all, of course the battery would've died after the car dashboard lights and fan was running for over six hours. He told me it would be 140 for a new battery, and that does not include labor, I agreed because I need my vehicle back and I spent almost $4000. he told me my battery needed to be changed. Should've been detected during an oil change and they did an oil change because they initially said it was mandatory when they initialy did that work. Three days later he says it's the ECM. How convenient that my ECM and the part was going to be $1500, excluding labor. I'm done with them ! read more

We kept having to come back because apparently everything kept breaking which cost us more and more money. The man really wanted to buy my truck and I kept denying the offer. I brought my truck home and it started acting funny so I had my dad look at it when he got back in town. He pulled out 8 ford spark plugs out of my GMC Sierra. If you want to be ripped off, then come on in. After being charged $175 for labor to replace a headlight and 15.99 for one headlight (when instructed to replace both), my bumper was not put on correctly. I had to return to the shop and wait another hour for it to be fixed, with no refund or credit offered. The salesman claimed that I had only been charged for one headlight (which was true, only because I brought it to his attention on the phone) and assumed that that would be good enough for a discount. Whether or not the second headlight was actually replaced or just used as a scam to make me return in a few months, I will never know. Again, no credit was offered for the extra hour required to fix my bumper. As a side note, you would think that "America's" service station, whose logo is made up of red, white, and blue, would offer a military discount, but to no surprise they do not. read more

I am very disappointed with the dishonesty! I paid over $1800+ to fix an AC on my 2017 Range Rover and they misdiagnosed it and AC is still broken. First they said it was freon that it needed to be charged. Then same day I picked up the car, after they charged the freon, the AC was blowing hot air. Their receipt says they dye tested for leak and no leak. But because the freon didn't fix the problem then they said there was indeed a leak on the condenser and bring it back and they need to replace the condenser. After they replaced the condenser it was still blowing hot air. I took my car to the dealership and they said the AC was not functioning after America's Service Station charged me over $1800 to supposedly fix it. And they refuse to refund the charges knowing very well that they know they didn't fix the problem and I took the car back to them same day. They had my car for a total of almost 2 weeks trying to figure out the problem but they couldn't. I will never ever take any car of mine to the Dacula America's Service Station. It's very disheartening that a company like this claiming to be your neighborhood service station will keep your hard earned money. Not to mention I have sent them business in the past with my other cars. I will not recommend trusting them. Always get a second opinion or better yet go somewhere else!! Went in for an oil change for one my vehicles this morning. I just went in in the last month for a full synthetic oil change in one of my other vehicles and was charged $54.95 which was the promo price they were advertising. Then this morning I go in for the same oil change in another one of my vehicles and they charge me 27$ more for the same oil change. Mind you I've only been coming here a few short months, but I have had a few services done on three different cars and they'd been nothing but good to me, until this point. Not sure how the two exact same services inquire a different labor charge when it takes the same time to do either oil change. ( one service was $3.96 for labor and the other $28.96 for labor for the same service) I feel taken advantage of and when I presented my concern to the gentleman behind the counter he smirked it off in a somewhat rude manor. After leaving the establishment, Said associate actually reached out to me via phone to offer the discounted price. But why not offer it to me from the start? Why make me feel like you're trying to take advantage of me. Especially when I was in the process of scheduling other multiple hundred dollars services. I should have read the reviews here before going. We like their synthetic oil change package but they try to tell us other things that need to be fixed. My husband went to a second auto shop and they thought the things this place listed weren't needed. We feel ripped off. The last time I went there, they ended up billing me for more work that they had done and didn't tell me about it beforehand. You'll walk off with hundreds of dollars more than you had planned. They LIE right to your face!! Went in for an oil change and I knew my front passenger tire was low on air so I asked if they'd take care of that as well. I asked how much for an oil change and was told for my 2014 Honda Accord it was $60. I then asked how much for non-synthetic? I was told that my car HAS to have synthetic and there is no non-synthetic option. I knew this to be a lie since I've clearly had many oil changes over the last 6 years. However, I agreed to it bc with my work schedule, etc I just needed it done that day. 15-20 mins later he comes to tell me that my tire has a nail which is why it was low and they wanted to plug it. I said no bc I had bought the tires from Sam's and they would repair for free. He then tells me that there is really no point in patching it bc I need both my front tires are so bad they need to be replaced now. I declined bc I knew that was an outright lie since my Pirelli tires were not even 2 yrs old and only 25k miles on them. Then he tells me I need new cabin filter (I'd just replaced in April, less than 10k ago). I also needed a transmission fluid flush. I declined all. I go to pay for oil change and instead of $60, I was charged $75. Left and went to Sam's where I was informed the tire couldn't be patched bc of how close to the wall the nail was. Additionally, I was given credit for 9/32 for remaining life on the tire. Which proves my tires were practically new and definitely didn't need to be replaced like America's Service Station said. Bottom line, they tried to take advantage of me being female and rob me blind by lying to me about everything from having to have synthetic oil to filters to new tires. I maybe a female, but I'm also a single mother and every penny matters. I knew damn well the lifespan of my tires, that's why I bought them. Shame on them because they were right by my job and could have had a lifelong customer. Instead I've made sure to inform all my co-workers to stay the hell away from this deceptive business and clearly I will never be back. read more

This is the worse auto repair shop I have ever come across. I was over charged an extra $111.00 for a work that was not discussed. I was told the total cost would be $489.36. Upon return to pick up my vehicle, I was given a bill of $610.36, their reason was a break flush which was never discussed. I did a break flush in DE where I currently live, less than 5 months ago, why would I want to do that again? All customers need to thoroughly review their work request and charges. We've only been here a little over a year and I've used these guys for a new battery, oil changes, tire rotation but I'm now done with them. I had them diagnosis the check engine light on my 2010 Hyundai Genesis and they said it was the fuel system. Having had some issues I thought were transmission related they convinced me it was in the fuel system (purge solenoid and some other parts). I reluctantly agreed to spend $1100 to supposedly fix the problem; bonehead move on my part that I feel stupid about now. I now know I should have just gone to a transmission shop and had my transmission fixed. I do not doubt I had some fuel system issues but I should have been smarter than to spend the money I did What is interesting is to sit in the waiting room and watch them come in and attempt the upsell; I've never seen an auto shop so blatant in this until I tried these guys. I've now reached out to some locals who have given me some much better places to use; as an aside I've also had a coworker have a terrible experience with this place. Went in to find out why my car was making a clicking klunking noise. Found out it was a bad strut. I was disappointed because I wasnt prepared to pay for a strut so I didnt get the service done. So my wife's car needed the oil changed. Now normally I take of this myself but I was serving on active duty and was not home. The mechanic told my wife that her serpentine belt was fraying and needed to be changed and it was gonna cost $150 to change it. Apparently they tried to pressure her into getting the service. She declined the service and informed my father who actually changed the belt the next day and told me the belt was fine and did not need to be changed. I have never been treated so badly ever!!!! I got my breaks repaired and they started making noise. Came back in for them to tell me I needed something totally separate repaired for the low low price of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! I went for a second opinion (thank God) because they confirmed it was indeed the brakes. They put on the wrong pads and didn't resurface something correctly. I took it back AGAIN and they said "oh let's put on the correct pads but they are more expensive and you have to pay the difference". I didn't mind that but requested a refund on the diagnostic fee since they misdiagnosed it and also inconvenienced me by having to go several places to get a correct answer. Long story short, their rude regard to the fact that they messed up was so off-putting that I will NEVER return and will pass along the word to anyone that will hear me. It would have been fine to say "I'm sorry we made a mistake". Mistakes happen, own them! Don't make me feel uneducated or as if I'm expecting something unreasonable.
