Great service and 2 for 1 drink specials. Parking was easy and we were seated quickly and the service was wonderful from start to finish. The drive there was scenic with the lake and ending the night with some beers and walleye tacos that were delicious, was the perfect combination. Their menu had some many food options, I would recommend and look forward to stopping by again when I'm in town!

    Beer and margaritas.

For a place that focuses on selling drinks not food I was really surprised at just how good the food was. The only negative thing was that the waitress did not mention 2 for one until she returned with 2 drinks each.

Beers on tap were good ones.

This gem of a local joint caught us by surprise. We felt at home and at ease. The server was kind and very helpful. Food was tasty and served pretty quickly.

We just stopped in for a beer and football game. The beer was good and it was quiet for a game day. It was pleasant to watch the game.

    Do they require reservations?

No reservations required! We walked right in. We went on a day when there was a game so it was a little full but we were seated immediately. Plenty of seating options and very tight-knit. Hope that answers your question

This is a place we look forward to trying every time the season changes (and definitely the place your local family/friends want gift cards to). My fiancé had the Bahn Mi, I had the Beef Braised Tacos, and we shared the pierogis. Everything was great (and we loved the selection of NA cocktails)! Perfect for a date night

Although it's a bit of a hike outside the city, still not too bad on a weekday and it was nice to get out and try something new! It seems like an up and coming area for Monticello and development nearby. We came right at 5 when the restaurant opens and got a seat in the high tops. NOTE! If you want to partake in the happy hour, you have to either sit at the bar or in the high top tables. We didn't know this and wanted their chicken wings on the happy hour menu so ended up switching tables. In addition to the wings, my husband ordered the corn bread app which was pretty good too! Wasn't a huge fan of the spicy butter it came with, but strange but the bread itself was good. The wings had a good seasoning and the house made ranch was really tasty! Surprised there were only wings and no drumsticks which I prefer and the wings themselves didn't have a whole ton of meat on them so I'd give it 3/5 on the apps I ordered the 12oz New York strip and at market price it was $62, came with broccolini and French fries. My husband got the turkey burger which he wasn't a huge fan of he said but he enjoyed the fries. My New York strip wasn't seasoned well - if at all to be honest but thankfully they had some leftover A1 from Mother's Day brunch where the bartender made some bloody Mary's so that helped. Can't say the food was a knockout but the service was really good. The bartender who was our server was conversational, great dude, and offered great suggestions. Host and folks were also really accommodating when we hopped around the restaurant so we could participate in the HH. All in all, great experience and nice place to try!

The place is somewhat hard to explain - sort of a sports bar feel, and sort of a family restaurant, but however you classify it, they have really good food. Menu is good sized and there are plenty of options to satisfy most people in your party. There even appeared to be some Asian style dishes, which could explain the name. Our waitress was just awesome - and she had a dinner special menu as well. After looking at all the options, we ordered some apps (calamari) for the table and I went with a short rib special they had available. A glass of red and I was off to the races. Again, the available wines by the glass and bottle were somewhat unexpected when looking at the decor and well, the Ancient Peaks Cab hit the spot perfectly. The short ribs arrived and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised again as the presentation was spot-on and the food was done perfectly - it was excellent and I destroyed it. This place was so good, I ended going back the next night with different co-workers who also suggested it and and the same exact experience. Win-Win for Franco. All I can say is this: if you are anywhere near Delano, make your way over to this place and give it a shot. Parking lot is available.

The staff, too, is actually Mexican. I had a very nice conversation with the waitress about our roots and all. Anyway, let's talk food and drinks here. We began with drinks, all of us choosing beer and/or margaritas. Let me tell you that if you get beer on draft like I did that the glass is huge. ¡Están sí son chelas! Translation: These yes are beers! Drinks aside, they bring you complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa actually has a nice flavor, maybe even a hint of a kick to it. Despite this, we started with chips and guacamole and what a hearty portion. Guacamole was fresh and filling. For our main dishes, a cheese enchilada was had, as well as carne asada. The last two of us (including myself in this boat given prior comment) ordered tacos. Carne asada tacos specifically. Everything was legitimately delish. Very happy we wound up at El Huichol, which I later learned is an indigenous group of people from Mexico. Go figure... my Chicano self needs to get more educated on stuff as clearly I don't know much, haha.

Along with having one of their slushy machine margaritas while waiting for my son to take his driving test, I had their chips and salsa and was able to sample their spicy and their avocado Verde salsa - both were amazing! After my son passed his driver's test we celebrated with more chips + salsa and a chicken and asada taco each. The waitress (who lived in Apple Valley and we chatted about being from Rosemount) told me they made their corn tortillas in house, and they were definitely the best I've ever tried: soft like a flower tortilla but still the rich flavor of corn. I'm not a cilantro fan but it was just perfectly diced and their red onions on top along with the salsa verde were absolutely heavenly. Certainly an unexpected stop to a lovely establishment with great service, and if travels ever take me back to Buffalo I'll definitely stop back by!
